Scar A Lonely Escort Part Twelve
Scar’s Strike
“Wow! I didn’t expect that!”
“Shut up and take me to my girls and husband!” She snapped, disgruntled.
“Alright!”
So Ephah took her to Detective Smith and Beatrice and Britannia as Charnette picked up Scar and took her to the side of a rock, where she would be sacrificed. She took out some chains and chained her to the rock in the shape of an X. She looked up at the sky, it was not time yet. She then looked down at the girl with glee as she thought about the power that she and her sisters would obtain at midnight.
When Scar woke up later in the night, she looked at the three witches as they painted the rock with a glowing blue potion. She could see that the moon was high in the sky and it was fast approaching midnight. That was when she saw Charnette spotted that she was awake. She also spotted that she was smiling wickedly.
She looked away not even wanting to look at the stone. She knew that would make the situation worse. That was when Charnette finished her painting and turned to her. Damia and Ephah came up next to her as they yanked her mouth open and pinched her nose. Then Charnette poured the rest of the potion down her throat. She tried to resist but she could not in case she choked.
Once it was all down her throat, Ephah and Damia pulled her sleeves up to reveal the thin scars all over her arms. Then they dug their knives into them. She screamed out again and again and once they had as much blood as they wanted which they poured into their bowls they stopped. They walked up to a set of stones with old runes on them and dipped their blades into the bowls and dropped blood on every one of them. Then they suddenly glowed purple.
She tried not to cry but she could not stop herself. Nor could she do anything. She looked up at the cuffs. She tried to pull on them but they became tighter. She winced as she felt them reopen the wounds around her wrists. She felt her blood and sweat mix. She felt her wrists start to slip which caused the cuffs to tighten again. She bit her lip. She had to lie there slowly losing feeling in her hands.
She tried to stop herself from crying but she just could not. She tried to keep herself as silent as she could. Yet she could not stop a whimper or two. Charnette noticed and smiled as she stroked her hair.
“Ohh! Don’t worry, it’ll be over soon.”
“Why can’t you just leave me alone?”
“Did we not already say?”
“You could have come back and everyone would be none the wiser. So why couldn’t you have just let me be? I would have stayed away from you. I would have been harmless to you.”
“You know why! You’re the Mythos Puros.”
“But what is that? You never said and the only thing that I do know is that it is some kind of magic weapon.”
“You just answered your question.”
“You know what I mean.”
“Oh! You know the specifics. Well it is a magic weapon, yes. But it had other powers. Such as, under the right conditions, it can bring an end to magic.”
“And is that why you wanna kill me?”
“Yes.”
She looked to the side.
“And what about-”
“Silence.”
Suddenly she could no longer speak. She let out a huff.
She looked down as she felt the moon start to approach the highest point and soon it was midnight. Then they unchained her and she quickly hit the nose of the nearest one with her forehead. She kicked the Ephah and punched Damia. She then felt her whole body freeze all over and she dropped. Then they dragged her to a stone table with an X engraved into it and at the corners had bowls underneath. She could feel her heart in her ears as she felt the dread and fear build.
“No.”
She closed her eyes and wished with all her will that something, anything would stop it. That was when she felt it, something in her moved as she felt something in her hand.
“Didn’t we-”
She pointed the gun up and shot before she could let herself think about where it came from. Charnette fell.
“Now, now Mythos Puros-”
“It’s Scar!”
She then fired at the two.
She looked down as nausea overcame her body and all she could do was vomit. She broke out weeping and weeping. Her body and hands were uncontrollably shaking.
