Bounty Hunter Bash Friend Lock Part One
Chashathrophogh’s Declaration
It had been a few hours since Bash had learnt that the best friend that her uncle, Chashathrophogh, had been going on about was none other than the bounty hunter, assassin and slayer Zaryb Zuvé. Even more than that, he confessed that he had been grooming his own niece, Arielsa Zuvé, which he was making her go by the name Strena Azlok for some reason, to kill him! She was just at a loss at what to say. She looked at her own uncle and could tell that he was fuming. Yet he breathed out and relaxed his face.
“My dear niece, I think that you should take the girl somewhere else.”
“But-” She squeezed, finally as she showed him her cuff.
He let out a sigh.
“You will be able to go at least a mile from him and you will be able to go even further if you have every intention of returning soon after you leave or it is not your fault that you ended up so far away. Now, you can go. Do not worry,my dear niece, Bash will look after you.”
“Urm, al-alright. Will you be alright?” Strena asked.
Zaryb nodded.
“Just don’t go too far.”
“That’s alright we can’t go far from each other either.”
“Why?”
“Nevermind. We shall speak of that later.”
With that she took Strena by the hand.
“Also Cerpheres…”
“Yeees?” He purred, his hair back to royal purple garnet.
He threw a small sack at him.
“Aw!”
“Here, go and get us some new arrows. My dear niece needs some.”
He groaned.
“Now!”
“Ohh? Why don’t you do it?”
At this he gripped him by the throat.
“Look, I want to have a private little chat with my friend here and I do not want anyone to listen in, especially a man like you. So go and get some arrows and other things. You can do that can you not?”
He licked his lips and shrugged.
“I suppose I can!”
“And keep out of trouble?”
His hair turned emerald.
“No promises!” He sang.
He then let go, clearly repressing the urge to punch him.
“Alright… Wait…”
He looked to where Bash and Strena were only to find they had already left. He let out a half sigh and half chuckle as he let a playful smile appear on his lips. He then shrugged.
“I’ll be going off then!” Hr sang as he left.
Ha, I’ll find them…
He walked along the shops and soon found the arrows. He looked at each of them, humming the whole time. He then picked out a group of arrows made of dragon scales of all kinds. He then bought several pink ones too, knowing that it would anger the two. He handed in the lapis-lazuli coins and then left the shop.
He looked at his violin and then noticed that it was still working well. He then looked at the magic shop. There he stroked the spines of the volumes of books.

He looked at it and let out a light chuckle. He looked up as he licked his lips.
I’ve got to take Chashy there! Oh, yes. I definitely will take him there!
Yet his fingers slid across the next one.

He picked that one and then handed the amber coins and left the shop. The next thing he spotted was a fight in the middle of the street. He walked up to it and noticed that the fighters were too mature to spark his attention. So he moved on and soon caught up to Bash and Strena.
He noticed that the youngest girl was looking around, both unsure of what was going on and slightly timid. He felt his heartbeat increase as he remembered the conversation. Looking at her, one would never have suspected that she was the youngest bounty hunter, assassin and slayer. No, she looked like a timid child that needed encouragement. Yet he could not help but get excited over thinking about what greatness lay in that timid little girl.
He could not help but chuckle as he could not wait for all of it to be brought out so that he could see it. He knew that it would take time but once he had seen it’s fullest extent, he would make sure that it never had the chance to go back into it’s shell. Regardless of which way that would end up being. He let out a sigh to calm himself.
Then the girls shivered.
“Cerpheres! What are you doing here?”
“Just shopping like your dearest uncle Chashathrophogh told me to. Here, I got some new arrows for you!”
He handed them over, trying to suppress the snicker as she looked inside. Her eyes narrowed.
“Pink? Pink arrows?”
He put on a playfully innocent look on his face.
“What?”
“You know that I wouldn’t be caught dead using pink arrows!”
“Oh? And I thought that they looked cute! You know it’s said that anyone you strike with pink dragon scale arrows suddenly falls in love with you?”
“I don’t want to fall in love with anybody. That’s why I ran away in the first place.” She snapped, gripping the arrows. “And put all your girly things away.”
“But rich telling me that! Don’t you think?”
“Yeah, you’re supposed to be a man!”
At this he let out a chuckle which led to a laughing fit.
“What!”
“You’re too adorable!”
She curled her lip in disgust and shook her head. Then she took Strena by the hand.
“Come on. Uncle Chashathrophogh should be done.”
Strena gulped and nodded.
“Right.”
“What! Not going to ask further?”
“What then?”
“I just find it ironic for a girl to be saying that!”
She rolled her eyes and punched him. Soon the girls walked back to the tavern where they were greeted by Chashathrophogh and Zaryb.
“What?”
“We’re all going after Dark Lord Gajellidor Darcrogh and I will not be leaving Zarry until Wolfox is out of him.”
Bash was about to open her mouth. That was when Cerpheres burst in with an angry mob behind him. They all looked at him as if they were about to kill him.
“Cerpheres!”
He shrugged.
“What? I saw a group of people fighting in the street and they were so amature that I had to show them a real fight. Although I didn’t know how many bet on the guy I killed!”
“Girls! Pack your bags and do it quickly. We’re going to have to find an alternative way out!” He shouted as he grabbed both men and ran to their room.
“But why?”
“It’s alright. Come along now.”
They soon grabbed their bags and jumped out of the window and went from rooftop to rooftop. The mob never even seen them. So, by the time they reached their rooms they had long since run leaving only what they owed.
