Bounty Hunter Bash Friend Lock Part Three
Resurrection
Bash woke up. She looked down as Strena woke up gasping. She breathed in and out rapidly. Almost as if she could not get enough air in her lungs. She was deathly pale and was covered in sweat. She was shaking as she pressed her hand to her chest.
Bash rushed to her all alarmed.
“Are you alright?” She asked, placing a hand on her head.
Suddenly she felt like fire was on her hand. She gasped as she retracted the hand and looked down to her hand and saw that her hand was burnt.
“H-h-help!” She whispered.
She then screamed out in pain and fell to her side. She screamed and screamed as her body shook.
“What’s going on?”
“Girl what’s-”
Zaryb looked down and went to grab her arm. Yet he too, retracted. He looked down to the burns on his hands in shock.
He then looked up as her body started to glow.
“Oh? Is someone being resurrected?” Cooed Cerpheres.
“You mean you knew?”
He shrugged.
“What?”
Then foam came from her mouth. She started coughing and coughing as her body started shaking violently. Her body started to glow brighter and brighter and brighter. Soon her body was like a purple fire as she screamed and screamed. The foam started to boil. This caused the foam to become bloody. Then smoke rose from her.
“What can we do to help her?”
“We can’t. The only way to stop this is to kill her.”
Chashathrophogh gripped the cuff of Cerpheres’s flamoyant shirt.
“There must be another way!”
“I’m afraid not!” He purred, licking his lips.
Zaryb looked back in horror as her body became hotter and hotter and hotter. Soon the grass around her caught fire. Bash then willed the fire to be put out. Then she willed the heat of her body to be cooled down. She did all that she could to keep her as cold as she could. Yet she felt a powerful magic push against her she then pushed back with more power. She felt the magic increase.
“Cerpheres! Chashathrophogh! Need help!”
They nodded as Chashathrophogh helped her cool her down. She felt his power ease her burden. She did all that she could to ignore the whimpering of the girl. For a moment, she felt the strain subside. That was when the power pushed against them like a tsunami.
“Cerpheres!”
“What?”
“Get yourself over here and help us!”
“Say ‘please’!”
He huffed.
“Just back us up!”
“Fine!”
He then started to play the violin. Soon they felt power surge within them. This gave them enough to hang in there. Yet the power increased and became stronger and stronger and stronger. They knew that they could not hold on any longer. Soon they felt a strain upon them, yet they still held on nevertheless. Yet as it became stronger and stronger the strain became more and more difficult. Soon they could feel that the power was just too much for them and they knew it. Then they felt the light pulse and they were flung back and hit the ground. They could no longer move.
Then Cerpheres stopped. He dived towards them. He looked at them. His eyes darted around like a wolf. Then he, for the first time, frowned and looked serious. He checked their pulses and let out a sigh.
He then looked up as the foam rose and became the form of a body. His eyes widened as he ran to Zaryb. He grabbed him and pulled him to the other two.
“Stay there will you?”
“Get her out of there!”
He put on a mischievous smile.
“I will! She’s got the potential to be a great woman once she’s grown up!”
His eyes looked to the side. Only for the light to die out. Suddenly the grass wrapped around Cerpheres like snakes. He pushed on. The foam soon became the body of a woman. Then she stepped forward. Bash soon recognized her from her ridiculously high wanted posters. It was none other than Dark Lady Grasharlo. The one that was dubbed the one that could not be trusted to live or die.
“That wasn’t nice!” She spoke to Chashathrophogh. “After all, I had taught you.”
Then her eyes slid to Strena.
