Scar A Lonely Escort Part Eleven
The Witch’s Prisoners
Scar looked down along with Morana. No e of them knew what time it was but both were feeling anger, frustration and dread. None wanted to speak a word. Yet Scar looked at the door. She then walked up to it and looked at the hinges they were graded by tiny rows of spikes. Then she looked at the other side of the door. She spotted that there was no knob. She then looked at the crack between the door and the wall only to see that it was locked with a blade.
Well, they are magic. So they must open the door by magic.
That was when she remembered all the times that she was in some kind of distress. She remembered how the cracks appeared in her family’s photograph. Then she remembered how when the evil Santa look alike tried to make her kill Morana, cracks spread around her.
Hold on. Was that me? Did I do all that?
Well, I don’t know. Hold on, remember when I was in the first world, I used magic there. Does that mean I have magic?
Yes. It seems so.
Well if I have magic, then I should be able to open this door too!
So she closed her eyes. She turned her mind to all those times that she used it. Then she thought.
Open the door, open the door, open the door. Yet nothing happened.
Looks like all this Mythos Puros thing means nothing.
“What are you doing?”
“Trying-”
That was when the door opened. She looked at the door to see Ephah and Charnette coming. She scrambled away as they came in with Charnette in the front.
“Good morning little Morana, Mythos -”
“Scar! I have a name now. Use it!”
She let out a sigh as she smiled as she relaxed as she looked at her likeshewas looking at a cute puppy.
“It matters not! I hope you had a good sleep before your final rest.”
“What!”
“You heard. After all, even though you are our greatest achievement, now we know what you are and who you will be, we have to put an end to you before that happens.”
“What? Why?”
“Best not say.”
“Yes, so as we were planning to kill you, we might as well use this to our full advantage.”
Scar looked down.
“How?”
“By using her to make us stronger.”
“What!”
They looked at each other and laughed.
“Didn’t you know? We can become more powerful by sacrificing another and, as you are a Mythos Puros, someone that has great power, it will increase the power that we will get.”
At this, Scar screamed.
“Great power! I don’t have power. If I did then mum would be alive, if I had power then I would have been able to get away from you! Honestly, if I had this ‘great power’ that you claim to have, do you think that I would even be here?”
“Oh? How cruel of you! But your mum is right here!”
“She’s not my mum. She has never been my mum. And she never will be! She abandoned me, after all!”
She nodded.
“Ohh! Poor thing!”
“Does she hate you that much? Seems like killing you will be a mercy.”
She narrowed her eyes as she just glared at them. She could not say anything and she knew it.
“Oh? Nothing to say, Mythos Puros?”
“Except one thing, I thought you wanted a Mythos Puros? Didn’t you let me go because of it?”
“We can make more, now that we have you.”
At this, Morana became pale.
“What?”
“Yes. After all, you and Little Ally were the ones that convinced of one. You two can make another.”
“As if! I will never do that with that man ever again!”
At this, the witches laughed.
“Oh? But we can make you just like we did last time!”
At this she looked ill.
“What?”
“Oh? You remember those chocolates we gave you?”
“Yes.” She growled as she looked at them with nothing but venom.
“They were laced with a lust potion.”
At this she got up as she looked at her with the look of murder.
“Yes, why?”
“Well, we needed a human sacrifice and there is no greater than a first born, especially one that is a virgin.”
“What!”
Scar just looked at her and back at the witches. She did not know how to respond to this. She looked down. She had not only been almost aborted but she would have been sacrificed.
Meanwhile Morana was utterly fuming. She had not only been forced to conceive of this thing that she did not want, but was forced to carry her for nine months against her will and all for this thing into existence for a sacrifice to make her tormentors stronger. Yet there was still one question that remained.
“How did you find out about my girls?” She asked, trying not to punch them. She noticed that if there were two then the third would have been with her girls.
Their eyes dropped to Scar.
“She led us to them. See, when we saw that at her door asking about her well-being and she cruelly pushed them away. Telling them to go away and leave her alone. We, at a glance thought that they were just her friends. Yet upon a closer look we noticed that they looked just like her. Haven’t you noticed?”
“Yes, and?”
“So we followed them home, originally to kidnap them and use them as bait to lure her out, as she was being protected by that weird guy with that funny looking purple hood.”
“But when we saw none other than you, my dear Little Morana, greeting them and finding out you were their mother and all grown up no doubt!”
“We could not help but remember what the girl confined in us.”
She looked at Scar with nothing but venom.
“And what was that?”
“That you hated her, I believe!”
“So, we came up with a better idea. After all, if that guy in the purple hood and her dearest old daddy will protect her and if she is right to believe that you hate her, then you won’t. So we kidnapped them and that ‘husband’ of yours to get you here.”
“What?”
At this Scar started to break into tears. She knew that any chance of any love was over.
Her eyes dropped to her. She pulled her up by the cup of her shoulder but the girl did not look up, she did not dare to.
“You led them to them! How could you!”
“They- they came to my house! I tried keeping away from them! Just like you told me to!”
She threw her away.
“Why didn’t you just go with those witches?”
“Why did you abandon me? Why did you tell Mr Hunt that I was dead, just like they told me you were? Honestly, I wish that they were right. From the moment that we met you have been giving me nothing but pain, you tried to kill me again and again, you have shot me and stabbed me, beat me up, I almost died because of you and all just because I’m this Mythos Puros, whatever that is! And you never even got to know me! You killed Charlotte Kira and the only one that seems to care about me can’t even be my father because he’s too busy trying to stop you!” She wept.
A crack appeared beneath her feet. Morana looked down as the witches clapped like seeing a good pantomime.
“Stop it!”
“Why? What’s the point?”
“You’ll kill us all!”
“So? So what if I do? At least I won’t have to deal with all of YOU!”
The shaking became worse and worse.
“And you never know! I might find mum there! Maybe I will be able to finally be able to cry into her arms!”
At this Morana hit her in the throat and all went black.
