Bounty Hunter Bash River Towns Lock Part Eight
The Town On The Water
Part Two: The Plan
When Chashathrophogh woke, everyone was serious. He sat up and looked at them.
“What?”
“Mother sent him to kill you and take me to King Skipher to marry him.”
His eyes widened in horror.
“Is she mad? Does she not know who he is?”
She shrugged.
“I don’t think that she cares.”
“Well, what do we do?”
“I know. After all, she can’t marry me off if I’m already married.” She pointed out, cringing with her lip curled.
Chashathrophogh frowned.
“Urm…”
“Ohhh! That’s clever!”
“But who?”
“Well, first it is someone that is someone you trust and who will be the best. Yet I have someone in mind, but I will not be comfortable about forcing him into this or Wolfox remaining in him. Also, I will admit it, I do want to take down King Skipher too.”
“Hold on, you don’t mean Uncle Zaryb?”
She nodded.
“Isn’t he a bit too old?”
Here's eyes narrowed.
“Well, I did turn seventeen a month ago, which means that I will be eighteen in a year, also King Skipher is far older than him. So, if another option is not available by then, I think this would be the best option available.”
He looked down and nodded. Chashathrophogh looked at him.
“Are you alright with that?”
Zaryb nodded as he bit his lip.
“Don’t worry, she’s more like me, so she will not do to you what Grasharlo did.”
He relaxed slightly and nodded.
“If there is not another option, then you have my blessing.”
“Alright. I will do it and I will do my best to live up to my duties however, we need to get Wolfox out of me by that point.”
“Now, we need to get to the local shops for weaponry.”
“Yes. I need more cleaning materials for my swords.”
“Alright. Time to go.”
So they all rowed to the shops and looked around for the weapons. They docked and climbed out. They all stretched their legs as they looked around for anyone that could be tailing them. After seeing none, they walked in. They quickly bought all their weapons that they needed along with all that they needed to clean the weapons. They did all of this as fast as they could as they kept their eyes open for anyone suspicious.
Once they left the shop, Strena let out a scream. They all looked back to see none other than Dark Lady Grasharlo herself!
“Hello!”
“What are you doing here?”
“Just to prove a point, Dark Lady Bounty Hunter Strena Azlok!”
Zaryb took a step forward.
“And that is?”
That was when Bash shot an arrow at her. She caught it. She fired another at her then set it on fire as it was caught. She let out a scream as she dropped. Then Strena pulled out her blades then went to drive at her. Her eyes slid to her and flung her hand at her. She felt a harsh gust of wind at her. She had to cover her face. Then she saw a blast of fire coming at her. She used her magic to turn it to water and she dodged out of the way. Then it dropped. She saw an amber light to the right. She dived to the right. She dived forward then the fire hit her shoulder.
That was when Bash fired one shot after the other. Then the witch fling a fire ball at her. She did this again and again and again in rapid succession. Then she hit. The next moment she was being hit with a painful blast of electricity. This was followed by a splash of boiling water.
That was when Chashathrophogh flung a ball of darkness at her. She flicked it away nonchalantly as Zaryb threw tiny daggers at her. They all fell, yet he raced forward and threw another row after the next as he ran faster and faster as he came closer and closer to her. Then he landed a punch in her face.
She staggered back and then looked at him stunned as he felt a wave of satisfaction spread throughout her body. While her guard was dropped he punched her again and again and again. He felt like all the abuse was being avenged until he felt a hand on his abdomen. Pain rushed throughout his body. Soon he was on the ground writhing in pain. The next moment he heard her laughter flood his mind.
“Well, well, well, it seems that you found some guts! Honestly, I wish I didn’t have to show you your place. I would love to get to know this side of you!”
That was when Chashathrophogh hit her with a blast of light. Then Cerpheres drove his blade into her back. Yet it might as well have not been there!
“Well, that seals it! We are related.” He spoke in his emerald haired voice.
He threw a knee in her back as Leonardo came beside her and there was a nasty look in her eyes. She then grabbed him by his throat and soon he cried out in pain. Then she let go and his fists flared up in lightning then thrust then in his chest and he flung away. Strena ran up to him only to be caught by the back of the neck. She soon felt something put pressure in her mind forcing it’s way into her head. She tried to push her out and force her out. Yet this was met with greater resistance. She pushed back harder and more pressure pushed back further. Yet she put more and more effort into it until-
SNAP!
She felt her stab into her mind and soon she saw her in her head. The next thing she saw blood all over the place. She saw blades of grass turn to a forest of fiery trees all around her. The leaves turned into heads of a man and woman screaming.
“Stop it!”
Then there was a flash of light and Strena dropped completely unconscious. That was when Bash loaded her bow and fired at her again and again. Then the figure of Grasharlo vanished before her eyes!
“Who’re you firing at?”
She gasped as she hit the head with the end of the bow. The next moment she felt a knife in the lower back. She grunted in pain. Then she felt it twist forcing another grunt. Then she twisted and twisted and twisted until she cried out in pain. Then she pulled it out and then a blast in her back until all went black.
The next moment she felt her palm against her temple too.
Zaryb ran to her. He fired two tiny daggers at her and they fell. She then flung them back at him. He dived out of the way and his face twisted and Wolfox flung tiny daggers at her. She dived at him and summoned a ball of darkness and black fire then drove it into his heart. Soon he fell.
Then she dived at Chashathrophogh. He drove a ball of black and white at her. The balls collided and sent out a blast of black and white. Once the blast hit she spun and flung on top of Zaryb, also unconscious.
She looked up to Cerpheres.
“Aren’t you going to be next?”
“No point!”
“Why?”
“Weeelll, I can’t win and someone needs to take care of my beautiful books!” He purred as he took a nearby wheelbarrow and piled them on top of each other. She left as he wheeled them back to the barge and healed them all.
