The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Twelve

 The Third Unit


It had been half an hour after eating their lunch when the first hydra was seen. It had three heads. Yet Loc took to the sky and looked down. She saw thirteen on the first row. She then looked on to see that there were eleven rows. Which made her stomach drop slightly.

One hundred and forty three… This one is going to take a lot out of us. Even though it will be hard, as long as we are able to get to those stomachs, it won’t be unbeatable…

Which means we need to get those eyes taken out as soon as we can.

So she looked down.

“I have a plan. First eagles, pair up with a man. All of you, aim for those eyes. Once they are all blinded, the rest of the men, and myself, will slice the stomachs. Meanwhile you stay in the air and keep the heads occupied. Right.”

“Right.”

So fifty of the men climbed on the backs of the eagles and were all in the air. Loc was on Elijah’s back and she looked down. The eagles and the men archers loaded their bows and fired at each eye. They did this again and again and again. Soon the first row was blinded. Yet they did not dare relent. So they did this again and again and again.

Then they looked up as the fourth row lost their sight. Then they continued to the sixth row. Then they let out a blast of fire at them. She stopped the fire and pushed it on as the rest were able to fire at the seventh and eighth row. Yet she saw another wave of fire in front of her. She quickly stopped it and pushed it on. They were able to take the vision of the ninth row. She then saw another one. She pushed it on. The tenth row was blinded. She saw the last one was about to release another wave. She motioned for it to stop. Once the fire was released she pushed the fire back before the last row was blinded.

That was when she dived down to the ground and used her fire power to slow her fall down. Once she landed, she nodded and turned around. Then she turned back and put her finger to her lip before she turned . As silently as they could they charged on and on and on. They soon did all that they could to keep their breath as silent as they could. Then they met.

Instinctively, they split up into four groups. Four dived in between the legs and slit the ankles. Two dived on. One pulled the last up and he raised his hand up and slit the stomach. Then they dropped and charged on. Then they repeated the action.

Then, before they were able to reach the fourth row, they let out a blast of fire. They had to dive back. Then arrows hit the heads. This caused them to raise their heads and let out a blast of fire. As they did this the men dived on and struck the front ankles. One pulled the other up and he was able to slice the stomach up. Then they saw the next line of fire. They stopped. Then the arrows came down. They waited until the heads were raised to the sky before driving on. Then they sliced the ankles. Then repeated the action again. The same thing happened when they took down the sixth row.

That was when they saw the line of fire. Yet, before the arrows came down, they saw the heads push past the flames. This caused them all to dive out of the way. Then they saw the heads open their mouths. They all sliced down and dived on. 

But before they could slit the ankles the hydras dived up standing rampant. They dived on and sliced the ankles of the hind legs. They were about to collide with the eighth row until the heads breathed fire upon the seventh row. This caused them to fall. Then they collided with the ground. 

This gave Loc and the men their opening. So they dived up and slit the stomachs. Then they dived onto the eighth row and sliced the hind ankles,dived up and slit the next stomach. The they did the same to the ninth.

Yet then they saw the next line of fire. They dived on before the fire could hit then slit the ankles. Then they dived up and slit the stomach. They then moved onto the last row. Which they were able to take out easily. 

“How many are to go?”

“One this evening and the last of this army is tonight.”

“Then?”

“We move onto the next land where the army is.”

They all looked at the kingdom and then the camp and nodded.

“R-right.”

 Plan They arrived at the outskirts of Centrepoint. It seemed like a rocky wasteland. Where there were lava rivers and orange rocks as far as they could see. The clouds were bright orange and thick.  The Army Against The Last  Loc had a light nap before waking up to see the fakegels, a name she had come up with after the fight and handed the second borns over to the rest of the first borns. She could see the men also taking a light nap, just like she was. Yet she knew that she did not have time to wake them. So she pulled out her sword as she could not be bothered to get Rock and Stone. The Nine Dragons The Dragon Of The Ground Part Fourteen

 The Rock Dragon  Loc and the other two arrived at where the rock dragon lay. It looked at them with glowing amber eyes and had the shape of a turtle that was large. It had a head the shape of a wolf and had a long tail with four rows of spikes shaping an X at the tip. It had a pair of wings tucked away, yet the body had become too large to fly. It may have been able to fly once upon a time, but not now. After years of being glutinous, it had grown too heavy for it’s body.
