The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Eleven

 The Second Wave


It was half none in the morning and Loc, the army of men and the eagles had had a good half an hour break. They woke up and out on the battlefield. They all had decided to camp outside the wall. After all, they all knew that they would have to get to the spot and a wall would take up too much time to get through.

They soon saw the first heads and gulped as they all grabbed their weapons. Then they looked out for how many there were. The one looked directly at Loc and then Elijah. She nodded at him then looked back at the hydra.

“Get to the air!” She called.

He looked at her and nodded. They shot to the air and zoomed to the upper section of the sky and she looked down. Then she counted how many hydras there were and she counted twelve in the front row and she then went on to count the ten rows. Which led her to calculate that there were one hundred and twenty.

She looked down and nodded. They shot down and addressed them all.

“There are one hundred and twenty. Eagles, take out the eyes of the heads. When they are taken care of men go for the stomachs.”

“Right!”

The eagles shot up with Loc on Elijah’s back. They all shot at the eyes before they all had the chance to look up. This took out the eyes of the first three rows. Yet as they shot on, she could see the fire was coming at them from the latter rows. She stopped as much as she could. Seeing the fire, the eagles on the outer edges of the eagles zoomed behind her and Elijah like an arrow. 

Taking inspiration from the hydras, the back rows of the eagles fired at the eyes of the next row. Then, when the fire vanished, they dived down and fired at the row of the hydra. Yet, before the hydra had the chance to take another breath of fire, they all fired at the sixth and seventh row. 

Then she saw the next row of fire coming at them. They formed the arrow and she stopped the fire. Then they were able to take out the eyes of the eight row. Then they saw a sky filled with balls of fire! She reached out her hand and this stopped them all. This gave the eagles the opportunity to take out the ninth row. Then they flew on and hit the last.

Then they all dived down. Loc looked at the rest of the men and nodded. They let out a cry as they ran on and on. This gave away their position and this earnt them a blast of fire. Yet they all dodged out of the way and looked on and charged on in silence. So they all charged on and on and on, trying not to make a sound. So they were all able to reach the first row.

They all sliced the hind leg’s ankles. Once they were all slammed down, they were all able to strike the stomach. They then ran on to the next row and did the same to that row. Then they did the same to the third row and then they saw the heads dive into where some of them were. 

Yet this caused them to look on to see the heads diving at them. This caused them to dive side to side again and again and again. Until one of them started to dive side to side diagonally. This caused him to go on and on and on. So they followed suit. Then they were able to reach the front legs. So they all sliced the ankles to cut the snout. Then they were able to jump up and climb to the stomach where they all sliced. Which caused the stomach and guts to fall out.

So they dived out of the way and saw another group of head to dive at them. They then repeated the diagonal dodging the next row. Where they were able to repeat the actions again and again until the sixth row.

That was when the fire came. Loc stopped as much as she could before the heads burst through the fire; they dived on and over the heads and charged to the front legs. Then whacked their blades into the ankles. Then dived up and slit the stomach. Yet as the stomach and guts poured out, fire erupted beneath them. 

Then they dived on diagonally to the seventh row, where they repeated the action. Then they saw more fire beneath them. So they dived to the other end as the heads moved to the right. The moment they landed to the left they hit the ankle. They dived on before getting to the stomachs and sliced. Then they dived to the eighth row and did the same thing. Then they were able to repeat the actions. They did this again and again and again and soon the second division fell.

Then they left the battlefield and, after burning the bodies, they got another nap and lunch.

 The Army Against The Last  Loc had a light nap before waking up to see the fakegels, a name she had come up with after the fight and handed the second borns over to the rest of the first borns. She could see the men also taking a light nap, just like she was. Yet she knew that she did not have time to wake them. So she pulled out her sword as she could not be bothered to get Rock and Stone. The Nine Dragons The Dragon Of The Ground Part Fourteen

 The Rock Dragon  Loc and the other two arrived at where the rock dragon lay. It looked at them with glowing amber eyes and had the shape of a turtle that was large. It had a head the shape of a wolf and had a long tail with four rows of spikes shaping an X at the tip. It had a pair of wings tucked away, yet the body had become too large to fly. It may have been able to fly once upon a time, but not now. After years of being glutinous, it had grown too heavy for it’s body.
