The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Seventeen

 The Final Second Division 

It was at ten when they arrived at the camp of the next division of the giant wyverns. She looked around and could count that there were four hundred.

“So, how many are there?”

“Four hundred.”

“Your plan?”

“Attack right now, meanwhile I will be stopping as much of the fire as I can.”

Kai nodded.

“Don’t be such a girl.”

“Brother!”

“Actually, there are only four hundred and about twenty thousand of us. It’s almost barely fair!”

“Oh.”

“Now let’s go.”

Soon they all drew their blades and arrows. The eagles and their riders were in the air. Then they all shot down as silently as they could with the group on the ground sliced their necks. They did this again and again and again. Soon the four hundred were dead.

“Well, that was swift.”

“I know! That was easy.”

“Yes. Far too easy.”

One of the men opened their mouth, but before he could say anything, that was when they saw a blast of fire landed on the left. They all looked at it for a moment and then at the sky. There they were all at. This caused the eagles to dive at them and fire at their heads. Yet Loc shot up and then looked down which gave her an idea.

“All of you, go for the wings!” She shouted as some of their arrows missed.

They nodded and they shot at the wings. This caused their wings to tear which caused them to fall. Yet she flew to the wings too. She drew Peble and cut one after the other. She did this again and again and again. This caused more and more to fall.

She saw a blast of fire at the men. She quickly blocked the fire as the men charged on. Then they were able to slice the throats. She did this again and again and again. That was when she felt herself fall. The next moment she felt a tail in her back. This caused her to roll forward rapidly as seconds later she collided and crashed into the ground.

She looked up to see the fire descending upon the men. She stopped it as fast as she could as the giant wyverns fell. She dived out of the way. She had to bite her lip as the bones that were broken grinded together. She felt her body healing as she pushed herself back up 

She flew back up and put Peble away and pulled out Rock and Stone and drove them into the skulls of the giant wyverns. She did this again and again and again in nothing but a rage. 

Then she was hit by another tail. She rolled and crashed into the ground again. Then she saw one about to crush her. She pushed on and scrambled to get out of the way. When it crashed into the ground her leg was crushed. It looked back at her and it’s jaws opened wide. That was when Kai pulled her out and slit the throat of the giant wyvern. Then the itching flared up as he let out a huff.

“Honestly woman!” He snapped as she looked up to see the fire above them.

She stopped it and pushed it away then down the throat that the fire came from. It exploded as the itching stopped.

“Well, that was good. I can see how you were able to take those dragons down.”

She smirked as she noticed his handsome face and toned muscles. Yet she forced herself not to linger upon it.

“You are quite good, for a woman.”

She let out a chuckle.

Almost progress.

Then she saw another wyvern fall.

No time for this.

She then quickly charged on. She put Rock and Stone away and pulled out Peble and sliced the throat as more and more fell. They were all able to slice throat after throat. Soon the last fell.

“Well, let’s get to the next one!”

“Not until we bury the dead first, woman.”

So that is what they did along with burning the giant wyverns.
