Strena Animéga Part Six
Town Of Living Objects
After a week they were about to arrive at Ikita Buttai to drop off Amagosa. After all, they were on that path. So, when they arrived, they were all tired. Yet, upon seeing all of the other umbrellas hopping about, Strena dropped her jaw. Then she saw spoons also hopping all around, rocking chairs rocked from left to right like a crab. They saw tables and other chairs jumping on and on. Then they saw beds jumping down the streets. Yeah as they walked in further and further they saw houses arguing with each other in their native language. Yet as they looked around, a group of umbrellas came to them.
“Amagosa?”
“Family!” He cried as he hopped over to them and crashed into them. They knocked them all over. Yet he laughed and laughed.
“Where have you been!?”
“I went to see the world. Yet it did not work out well. So I tried to come back. Only for me to make people scream and knock me over. I stayed that way until she picked me up so that I could return home.”
They all looked at the group and screamed.
“Why did you bring them here?”
“You know that they see us as monsters!”
“What do you think that they’ll do?”
“Do you think that they’ll move in and leave us alone?”
“They’ll bring other humans here and wipe us all out!”
That was when the whole town looked at the umbrella and at the rest and screamed as they all raced to and fro. Some knocked each other over. Some cried as they trampled on each other.
Quickly Strena dived at the ones that had fallen over and pulled them up. She did this again and again and again but it was too many. Then she looked at Cerpheres.
“Can you?”
“No. They don’t need to. See their souls leave their vessels when they are destroyed!”
“And where do they go?”
“The nearest object!” He sang as he painted at a group of rocks as black shadows overcame them and eyes opened.
“Oh no! We can’t move!”
At this Cerpheres chuckled as Strena let out a sigh of relief. Then she looked at the rest. She knew that they had to be stopped.
“All of you stop! This is utter nonsense! We have no internet in hurting you!” She shouted at the top of her lungs.
They all looked at her, momentarily, stunned.
“What?”
“We only picked him up and let him travel with us because it was on our path. So we would have come here anyway, so just calm down. We don’t care about bringing more humans here. We only have one thing that we have on our mind and it is to take down Dark Lord Gajellidor Darcrogh and Dark Lady Grasharlo.”
They all looked at her in horror.
“But they’re the reason why we’re all in this situation!”
“What?” Strena, Bash and Chashathrophogh exclaimed.
Strena sat down as she pulled out her journal, pen and ink.
“What happened?”
The umbrella hopped forward.
“I stopped him from gaining a foothold in this land and used my power to kill all his Dark Lords and Ladies before they could cause real harm to this land. So he took me and my family and sealed us away in our family’s trade, umbrella making.”
“Are you all trapped like that in a family?”
“No, some.”
“Are you all alright?”
“Yes. I like being an umbrella. Though it has been hard.”
Then an old umbrella shook as he hopped over to them.
“He made it so that none of us can pass on. When this vessel is destroyed, we move onto the next inanimate object. So we are all trapped here like this, never to pass on.”
She nodded as anger struck her. She could not believe all that she had just been told. Yet she wondered just how anyone could do such a thing! She could feel her rage build up in her mind.
“And do you want to?” She asked.
“Yes. It would be nice not feeling pain all over!”
She nodded as she wrote it all down.
“Is that the same of all of you?”
A chair jumped to her.
“I used to be a samurai. I challenged him to protect my territory. Yet when he won, he took my territory and wife and killed my sons. So, upon doing this, I tried to kill him. He put me and my daughters in the chairs. We had to flee all over the country as they thought we were monsters and ended up here. I heard my wife gave birth to his child and shortly after she died. Which was hard for Cho and Rin who had lovers that screamed at them.”
She felt tears fall as she wrote it down as a table jumped to her.
“I was once a ninja. I tried to assassinate him and all his followers. Yet after taking down a great deal of them in this land I went for him. Yet he quickly overpowered me and after torturing me for over three months he put me and my family and friends into tables. We soon were chased out of our village and came to this town.”
She bit her lip as she wrote it down. Yet as the time wore on, she heard more and more tales like this and more and more did her hatred of this monstrous hatred built. So when they all left she felt her anger towards Dark Lord Gajellidor eclipse the hatred of Dark Lady Grasharlo.
