Scar Attempts Of The Witches Final Part
A New Plan
Beatrice and Britannia had not seen Scar since she saved them from the group belonging to Evil Organisation. They had grown afraid for her. Yet they still had to go to school nevertheless. They took a glance at three ladies walking to Scar’s place. They looked at each other, their guts told them that they were not clients nor this was for a good reason. Yet their rational side told them that Scar was a detective and they must be going to see her for a case. After all, why else would they? So they forced themselves to go to school. Yet throughout the school day their minds could not help but dwell upon Scar and hope that she was alright.
This followed them throughout the next couple of days. It only grew when they did not see her. Then their feelings were put at rest when they caught a glimpse of Scar as she finished a group of sandcastles and sand houses. It looked like a miniature kingdom!
“Wow!”
“She’s good!”
“I hope she can teach me to do them that good!”
“Who’s that?”
“Scar.”
Then they looked up to see that Scar had gone. Beatrice frowned as she walked on. She then looked at the shoreline next to the tram line.
“There she is! Can we invite her to play mum?”
“No.”
“But why not?!”
“She’s got nobody else that can!”
“Her younger brother and sister disappeared before school started. Then her mum was murdered at the start of the school year.”
“Yeah and she solved it and everything!”
“Then she got shot about a couple of months after that!”
“Then we tried to visit her over the Christmas holidays but she was gone.”
“Then there was that time she almost died after she got stabbed!”
“The. She saved us the other week!”
Britannia grabbed her mum by the hand.
“Please mummy! She needs someone! I’m scared that she won’t be able to handle it all alone!”
“Please mum! I don’t want her to-”
That was when she heard the sirens. Beatrice and Britannia looked up, Britannia jumped a little, to see the fire near the Pleasure Beach! Yet as they looked at it Beatrice could swear that was where Scar was walking. Then she looked around to see Scar running from those ladies that they saw going to her place. This confirmed to her that both of them were right to be worried.
Then the following day none of them saw Scar. Beatrice also noticed that Scar was getting paler and paler since she came to school last. She hoped that she had not eaten something and fallen ill.
“Mum.”
“No.”
“But mum! Scar’s not been at school since she solved that case!”
“Good!”
“Why?”
“Because that girl is nothing but trouble. So stay away from her!”
“Why?”
“Did you not almost get yourselves killed by being near her?”
“But-”
“You are not to go anywhere near her! Okay?”
Beatrice and Britannia looked at her in shock. They had not seen this side of their mother before.
“But can you see if she’s alright?”
“Please mummy!”
She huffed as she rolled her eyes.
“Fine!”
Beatrice nodded, yet it did nothing to ease their worry.
Then a couple of days later they were in town shopping at the charity shops when Britannia thought that she saw Scar at the top of a car park. She was about to run to her when she saw a hand pull her back. Britannia let out a sigh. Her mum did see if she was alright after all! She turned back to Beatrice and both girls went to walk back home when they thought that they heard her screaming. That was not their mum. They were about to turn back only to see two men run in. The next moment they heard the sounds of car alarms going off then the fire!
“What’s going on here?”
“We saw Scar up there. A hand pulled her back.”
“Then we’re going home.”
“But mum! Scar’s in there! What if she’s hurt!”
“Then-”
“Mum. Will those men help her?”
“‘Men’?”
“Yeah! They ran in there!”
Her eyes narrowed.
“Then trust that they can do their job.”
They looked back and nodded.
“Then can we see if she’s alright later?”
“No.”
“But mum! How can we know that she’s alright?”
“Yeah! She’s not been in school for weeks!”
“I said no.” She spoke, almost dragging her daughters away.
The following afternoon the girls had finished their lunch. They all had seen the news. Soon they left the house and walked over to Scar’s house. Then they knocked on the door. There was no answer. They knocked on the door again. There was no answer again. They did this again and again and again and there was no answer each time.
“Scar! Scar! Are you-”
“Go away!” She finally cried, almost sounding like their mum.
“But-”
“I said ‘go away’!”
“Why?”
“Because reasons!”
“But!”
“No! Go home to your mum and leave me alone!”
“But we’re your friends!”
“No you’re not!”
“I thought that we were! Don’t you want to be friends anymore?”
“No!”
“Why?”
“I just don’t! Just go home and forget about me!”
“Fine!” They both snapped as they left in a huff.
Yet they could hear her crying for some reason but were too upset to ask about it.
In the meantime the Scarborough Witches were about to make their sixth attempt to take Scar when they saw the two girls that looked almost identical to Scar, if not for their crimson eyes of their mother and not scarlet. They had seen those girls with Morana and quickly deduced who they were. It was not a difficult deduction to make. Then they saw the scene that transpired and they heard the crying and remembered how Scar was about her mother and knew what to do next…
