The Nine Dragons The Dragon Infirno Part Eight

 Captured 

The three fire generals saw Loc fast asleep. They picked her up and walked to Easter Mountain. There, they dragged her to a cage. It was made of a metal that was very difficult to melt. She was lowered toba spot above the flames of the volcano. She stayed there until she woke up. The first thing that she noticed was the colour. The red, amber and orange. This woke her up and she pulled a muscle as she flipped up too quickly.

That hurt.

No time. I need to get out of here now.

She looked around the cage. She knew that she would find the keyhole to get out. She looked at the door closely. Sbe could not see a keyhole in the door. So she tried to open it only for it to not budge an inch! She then looked around the edges to see that it was welded anr bent together. So she took several steps back and sent a blast of fire to the edges of the door again and again and again. Soon the door fell into the lava below.

She then touched the metal to feel that it was scorching hot! She looked at her hand for any damage. She soon saw none, so she climbed out pushing past the pain as she reached the top. She saw a chain and climbed that.

Once she reached the top, she saw a creature the size of a large man made of fire. It looked like a man with many heads. She reached out to cool it down until it went out like a light. Then she jumped off the chain and onto the ground. 

She saw her bags and her weapons. She grabbed Rock and Stone and hit it’s three heads.

What on this planet was that?

Hardly matters. I’m free.

Anyway, time to get all of this over and done with!

So she quickly ate and drank the last of her water then set off. She soon saw five more fire monsters. She charged at one that looked like a manticore made of fire. She saw the stinger dive at her. She dived out of the way and started to focus upon draining it of its heat. Then she saw the paw come at her and she only just managed to duck. Then, instinctively she slashed her sword up and it passed right through. As it did it started to glow and the fire surrounding it started to fade.

Hold on. Is it absorbing fire?

Yes, that’s it!

She then slashed at the manticor. It dived out of the way as a minotaur made of fire dived at her. She slashed at it and the fire dimmed. It too dived out of the way. Then one that looked like a humanoid wolf dived at her. Shd slashed through the waist. She then saw it’s claws coming down on her. Shd dived out of the way. Then she slashed up. 

Then she felt fire in her back. She slashed back and turned to see the stinger retracting. She then slashed at it again and again and again. This caused the manticor to become dimmer and dimmer. Then she was hit. Then she was hit again. She looked down to see the claw lines. She raised her sword to the wolf and slashed the arm and the legs. She did this again and again and again and again. Soon the wolf was no more.

She then felt the head of the minotaur hit her in the side. She stabbed up and she rose up from the ground. Then she flew in the air. She saw a monkey made of fire above her. It reached out his hand to grab her. She slashed at the palms as she fell back down. She then saw a crocodile made of fire. She then stabbed downward and dug it into the centre of the body. She saw it being drawn into the sword. Then it came closer and closer to the blade. She soon saw the fire become completely absorbed into the sword.

That’s how to do it. She thought as she landed on the ground.

She ran to the manticore and stabbed it then the fire was drawn in. She felt it slash her. She had to endure it as she pushed the blade in further and further. It struck her again and again and again. Then she finally hit the ground. She then felt the claws in her back. She had to force her head to the left. She could see the head to her left. She had to headbutt it. Which caused pain in her head. She had to ignore this as it gave her the opportunity to spin out of the way. She saw the flames being drawn into the blade further and further. 

Then she felt something pull her up and saw another wolf. This one ripped at her calf and shin. She dived up and stomped on the head again and again and again until it let go. She looked up at the fire monkey. She jumped up off the wolf and, pushing past the pain and punched up again and again and again and again. Yet this caused her hand to flare up in pain. 

Then she heard a ting. The manticore was gone. So she hit the monkey in the head and it dropped her. She scrambled to her sword. She pulled it up and charged at the wolf. She saw the claw and dived down. Then drew her blade up and it pierced. She felt the claws collide with her head and she hit the ground. This caused her to feel slightly dizzy for a moment. 

Then she was kicked to the side. She rolled then was grabbed and pulled up. She flicked a kick up to the jaw. This caused her to feel the fire right down to her bone. She looked down to the blade for a moment to see the flames being pulled into the sword. She soon saw the wolf vanish.

She turned her attention to the monkey. She plucked the sword, which was remarkably cold, with her mouth then she dived to the wall. Then she looked up only to see a giant spider just above her. It dropped to her. It dropped to her. She drew herself into the wall and under the body. Yet she made sure to stay away from the fangs. She then stabbed up. She then kept the blade there. Once the fire had been absorbed sbr started to climb.

She was then pulled up by the monkey and stabbed it. She dropped once the monkey was gone. She then dived at the rest and absorbed the rest. She collapsed and closed her eyes to take a break. When Loc woke next she saw a group of ten dots on the horizon. So she got to her feet.

No rest for the wicked. She thought as she stood erect. She looked down at Peble and smiled. At least I have a plan now.

She charged on and reached the dots to see the animals made of fire. She ran to a hound and stabbed the main body. Yet she saw another monkey and spider but there was a giant scorpion there too. She saw the stinger went to strike her. Sbe let go of the sword and dived out of the way. She saw the spider come at her. She dived to the right. Only to be hit by the stinger in her side. She hit the floor, slightly relieved that there was no venom in them. 

Then she heard the sword fall. She went to crawl to it only to see the stinger just about to strike. She had to dodge to the left. Then she saw the spider. She dived to the floor and slid underneath it. Then shvwas about to grab it. Only to be pulled back by scarlet web. The next thing she knew was that she flew into a wall. She dropped and spat out blood.

She then looked up and saw the scorpion tail come down. She rolled out of the way. She rolled to and fro again and again and again. She rolled under the fire scorpion. She then ran to the blade and soon stabbed the spider. She pulled it out once it was absorbed then she stabbed the scorpion. 

She then willed the spider to cool down and then dived on and finished off the scorpion. She then stabbed the monkey, keeping her power trained on the spider. She soon finished both off. 

She moved onto the next ones which were a leopard and a boar. Both charged at her. She jumped anr slashed across the top of them. She put her power up on the leopard then stabbed the boar. She saw it charge at her again. Shr had to let go as she dived out of the way, making both collide. This caused the flames to be put out.

Right, only four left.

She charged at a tiger and a giant frog. The frog flicked out it's tongue to her. She dived out of the way and flicked her sword to the tongue as it retracted. Yet it did this again and again and again. She dodged, slashed and repeated it every time. She did it until there was nothing left of the tongue. 

That was when the tiger struck her. The next moment it was on top of her. The. She drew her blade up and into its stomach. She then dodged its head again and again until it was gone. She then divedag the frog again and stabbed the head. 

This left the last two. She charged at another wolf. She stabbed it and used her power to make it become colder and colder. She soon finished it. 

She then felt the fall force of a claw. She looked to the left to see a phoenix. She then saw another and dived out of the way of the second strike. She then dug her blade in the head. It struck her with a tallon. She kept it in and forced herself to focus to cool it down. She was struck again and again and again. Soon it was finished.

Loc then took this time to rest. Once she was rested up she walked on.

She soon saw the general of the fire animals. It was a lion with the wings of a dragon. She raced to it. Then it breathed fire upon her. She dived to the left and it dived to her. She ran forward and then spotted a claw coming towards her. She drove her sword down and stabbed it. Yet it pulled the paw out of the blade. Then she ran on and went to stab it in the breast. Yet it flew up. She jumped up and thrust out her hand and pulled herself up. 

She stabbed the leg then dropped to the ground. She then picked up a rock and threw it at it. She then threw another and another and another and another. She kept this up, taking a glance at the blade as it absorbed more and more fire. So she kept the stones coming again and again and again. Then it breathed more fire at her. She dodged. She saw fireballs coming at her and the next moment she hit the wall. 

Then all went black. When she woke the blade was in front of her. She looked up to see the last of the animal general went out. She let out a deep breath and she picked it up and walked on.

One down. Two to go.

She soon found the general of the lava men already coming to her. He looked down at her and raised his eyebrow. She ran to him. She stabbed the lava in the thigh and she forced her hand on and pulled the heat out of the body. But he hit her out of the way. She hit the wall and pulled out the sword. He threw it at her. She dodged out of the way and picked it up then charged at him. She saw his hand swipe to her. She ducked down and she stabbed the palm. She then sucked out more of the heat and it was soon rock. Which she hit with Stone. 

She then ran to the thigh. She stabbed it and cooled it again and again. Soon that too was rock. She hammered it. She then jumped up and stabbed the chest. Then she did it again until it was rock. She dived up higher and stabbed the head and once it was rock she hammered down on the head.

She landed and ran on and on and on and soon she came to the general of the lava giants. It was large but she knew that it could be beaten. So she charged to the foot and stabbed it. She made it colder and colder. Until she was hit in the head then she heard a crack as she hit the wall. Pain flared up in her body, causing her to cry out in pain. Then she felt the itching and pain as her body repaired itself.

She saw the foot coming towards her. She had to push past her pain and stabbed it then she stucked out the heat. She cooled it down again and again and again. She had to wait as she saw the rock.nshe then swung her hammer and it’s foot broke apart. She caught the sword and then jumped up and stabbed the calf. Ahr did this again and again and again until it was rock. She dived up. She reached the upper calf and was about to do it again but she was pulled off the calf. 

She then pulled the blade up and focused upon it to cool it down. Yet soon she was looking upon the face of the fire giant she had to not focus on the fear that was starting to sink into her body. She turned her attention back to cooling the hand down.nonce it was she smashed it as it threw her to the mouth.

Soon she was in the head of the lafa giant general. So she stabbed up and reached out her hands and sucked out as much heat as she could, and as fast as she could. Soon it was rock and hit the weight of Peble up and the head broke apart and she fell. Her head hit the ground and she was out cold.
