The Nine Dragons The Dragon Infirno Part Five
The Fire Giants
The Town woke up in the early morning. Loc walked in the front centre. She looked in the distance. She saw the dots of light in the distance. She saw that they were coming closer and closer and closer. She saw the dots become like flames like a line of candles. Yet as they came closer and closer they became humanoid figures. Yet as they came closer and closer they became bigger and bigger. Soon they looked like the size of men yet they kept coming closer and closer until that all looked the size of a house. Yet her stomach dropped as she realised that they had not yet reached the town. Yet tlas they got bigger and bigger she looked down at the pool, praying that it was deep enough. Then the first reached the pool she realised that they were the size of two houses!
Then the first dropped into the pool. It quickly cooled as it charged on. This was followed by more and more and more. The front group soon ran on top of the one beneath then sank beneath the water. Then the ones behind ran on top of the lower ones getting closer to the town. Then, as they sank beneath the water they let the ones behind get on to the back to get closer to the town. Yet the ones further back charged over the lower.
Knowing that it was only a matter of time until they reached the town, Loc ran to the pool and dived into it. She swam on and on and on. She sank deeper and deeper she saw the first lava giant in front of her. Knowing that the others would be falling soon, she swam to the left and the right. She took out Rock and Stone and hammered away at the head of the one that cooled first. She hit it again and again and again and again until it smashed. Yet she did not relent. Soon it broke then she saw the rest of the body crumbled.
Interesting.
She then dived to the next one and hit the head of the next one again and again and again and again until that one crumbled. She swam onto the next one and repeated the action before she moved onto the next one and the next one and the next one.
She then felt her lungs cry out for air. Yetshr wanted to get another one done. So she swam to the next one and as she hammered away. She felt the pounding in her head increase. She hit and hit and hit but the pounding became worse and worse and worse. Soon her head was aching. Yet she forced herself on and on and on. Soon her lungs weeped for air. She continued and continued, the pressure became worse and worse and worse. She felt it crack beneath her and could take it no longer.
So she did what she could to get above the water. Then one crashed above her. She as it hit her leg. She then felt her mouth fill with water. She rolled out of the way and forced herself on and on as she fought a cough. Yet it seemed to be useless as her lungs were now begging for her to cough. But it took all of her will and self control to stop herself on and on and soon she was above the water.
She then saw the first lava giant reach the first town. She swam on and on and on as she felt one fall behind her forcing her on. She soon reached the edge.
She forced herself to get out. Her arms and legs shook as she felt twice as heavy as she normally was. She forced her legs on and on and on. She soon reached the legs. She caused it to become colder and colder and colder. Once it was rock up and up. She felt her arms and legs feel weaker as she climbed and climbed. She felt faint and tired. She hit her head on the hip which woke her up. She then climbed on and on and on. She climbed to the back. Yet she felt her arms shook so badly that she failed to grip one but she whimpered but she toughened her grip. She forced her on and on. She had to whip her arm on the back as she forced herself on and on. She had to do the motion again and again and again.
She soon reached the head. She then hammered and hammered until it broke.
She then heard a scream. Shelooked up to see another had reached the town. She soon saw the dead body. She jumped off it and onto that one, making her shoes and the lower parts of her trousers burn away. She forced it to become colder and colder and colder until it became rock. She then hammered down to free her legs then she ran to the head. She hit it again and again and again and again.
She had only just smashed the head when she heard another scream. She dived to where the scream came from. She repeated the action while panting. She then heard another scream and dived onto the next one and repeated the action. She did this again and again and again and again.
Yet she knew that, deep down, she was not stopping the deaths. Yet she had no choice but to ignore this as she moved onto the next one and the next one and the next one. Then she felt her tiredness obecame overwhelming. Yet she forced herself on and on. She felt the strain start to build as she hammered the head again and again and again and again. Then dived onto the next one the strain increased and increased.
She felt the only thing keeping her going was her determination and adrenaline. Yet as she moved onto the next one and the next one she felt even that started to drop. The moment that she moved onto the next one she felt her arms almost be thrown at the head once it was rock. Then it fell.
She looked up and spotted that was the last one and she fell to the ground and all went black.
