The Nine Dragons The Dragon Of The Ground Part Fourteen

 The Rock Dragon 


Loc and the other two arrived at where the rock dragon lay. It looked at them with glowing amber eyes and had the shape of a turtle that was large. It had a head the shape of a wolf and had a long tail with four rows of spikes shaping an X at the tip. It had a pair of wings tucked away, yet the body had become too large to fly. It may have been able to fly once upon a time, but not now. After years of being glutinous, it had grown too heavy for it’s body.

Upon seeing them it charged at them, making it's body sway from side to side rapidly. They all moved out of the way. They ran to opposite corners. Then it turned around and looked at Shiro directly in the eye.

Soon Loc ran and went to jump upon it’s back only to feel pain in her side. The next moment she slammed into the walls. Then a spike fell from the roof of the cave. Loc rolled out of the way and soon the itching flared up as she felt her bones being crushed.

Yet then she saw another fall and another and another l. She rolled and rolled then her head hit the wall. She looked up, her head feeling dizzy. Then she saw one about to crush her as she rolled back. She looked up to see the tail upon her. She rolled to the right. It flicked it’s tail up and narrowly missed her as she did. She got her hammers out and saw the tail coming towards her. She hit, this did nothing. She saw it coming from the right side. She hit left then the right, and left again. Then crack!

Yes. Now, time to increase those.

She then ran to the dragon and hit next to the crack. This did nothing. She hit the other side. Then her eyes lit up as this did the trick. Soon the spikes of the tail fell off. She then hit down the stump. It let out a deafening roar as it turned to her. She soon positioned herself to steady herself as it came closer and closer and closer. Until ehr dodged and it’s head hit the wall, yet this still was not enough to crush it.

So what now?

She then would have thought on this further if she had the time. She saw it race to her and she ran to it. They came closer and closer and closer. Then she dived to the right and the front right with one hammer and quickly followed it with the next. She then raced on to the far right. Then hammered him with one with one hammer and quickly with one hammer and followed it with the next. 

Then it turned to her. That was when Ryu raced towards her and hit the legs with his pickaxe again and again and again and again. This was followed by another series of strikes to the front leg. And she then dived to the leg. Then She dived to the legs and hit them again and again. Then that left a crack. She then back at him and smiled. Then the dragon dived away and once he landed, he looked at Shiro. The next moment there was a hammer to the head again and again and again. His head turned like a snake’s and saw him on his back beating him again and again and again.

That was when the dragon shook his body, again and again and again. Until he lost balance and fell. Immediately, Ryu and Loc rushed to him and she hit the rock dragon’s head up and Ryu jumped and hit the head down. She then hit the head back up. Then he hit it back down again and again. Then the crack opened up from the top to the bottom of his face. 

Then he got his head out of the way and hit Ryu in the opposite side of the room! Quickly shebran off after him. She ran and ran and ran until he came closer and closer. Then once she was close enough, she kept to the top olas the dragon crushed Ryu. As she hammered to the first right again and again and again he pushed out his head and bit his head off!

She looked back as the leg broke off and then she fell off. She first felt rage and then sorrow as she felt the tears fall. Her heart felt like it had been stabbed. Then the anger returned and gave way to pure rage. Shr ran and ran and struck the crack. She pulled out his pickaxe and struck the crack with one hand and with the next she hammered it deeper and deeper into the cracks. The head swayed out of reach. However ehe was pulled off as she grabbed the handle. She pulled herself up and hit the hammer down, deepening the crack. She hit it again and again and again and again as she pulled herself on the top. She struck the head again and the cracks spread to the rest of the head. With another hit it smashed into smithereens. She fell to the ground and hit her head.

When she woke up she remembered the battle and that upon remembering Ryu’s death. She felt the tears fall and fall.

  Hunter’s Defence  Scar opened her eyes. She then walked down the stairs. She slowly took out her homework, just to take her mind off the day before she started doing it.  Defending The Town  It was nearly an hour after sunrise when Loc saw the army on the far end of the tunnel. She looked back at Gina.
