Doormaze Drage The Green Witch Part Two
Turning Green
It was night and the three girls were getting sleepier and sleepier as they walked on and on. They knew that they needed to go somewhere or set up camp to get some sleep. After all, they knew that if they did not they knew that they would turn up in the morning to kill the witch, only to be beaten because they were too tired. Yet what kept Doormaze going was that she did not want to waste any time and get this all done and done. After all, the sooner she got these adventures over and done with, the sooner that she could go home.
Although, she knew that there was another reason why she wanted to get home as fast as she could. She did not want to let Natalie complete her transformation into a dragon. Her gut told her that if she arrived and she had become a dragon something bad would happen.
That was when they were all hit. The girls slammed to the ground. They looked back to see a woman in a dirty olive green hooded cloak. She had wrinkly and mould infected skin and bulging yellow bloodshot eyes with a wild look in them. Her hair was grey with a green tint. Her hands were in the exact same condition as the rest of her skin with bony fingers and claw-like nails with dirt underneath them. They could see that there were several cuts on her cheeks and hands that were self-inflicted. She smiled goreveal black and liquidating teeth.
“Ello dear children!” She said with a voice that sounded like a creaky house.
They looked at her with a deep frown.
“Did ya really think that I didn’t think that ya’ll be coming, dears?”
“Well, I don’t think that it matters! You’re here aren’t you?” Coalmine pointed out.
She let out a cackle that sounded creeks of different pitches and soon sounded like someone was torturing a cat.
“Good point! But ya all are tired ‘n’ that makes ya easy picking! Why would I pass that up?”
She then sent a blast of green light. They all dived out of the way. Coalmine shot a blast of fire at her. But she missed. She did this again and again, but she missed every time. Burn tried to will the grass beneath the witch, only for the grass to wave up slightly. Doormaze ran to her but then she sent chains at her. The next moment she was on the ground. Then she smelt the scent of death breathing upon her.
“Tell me, ’ave ya felt jealousy?”
That was when she felt her mind was driven to Natalie and how she was always the popular girl and how she was able to spend time with both her sister, time that should be spent here with her. How she could be open about what she wanted and how she could live a normal life and how she was throwing it all away. All for what? To have a boy that chose Doormaze above her! The only one that wanted her, not to use her but because he loved her. A boy that she did not know even loved her until all of this started. She just could not help but feel it. The envy of all those that could lead a normal life surrounded by friends.
That was when the cackling in her head.
“I got you!”
Shock rippled throughout her body. She felt shaken as her blood ran cold. She looked down to see that her skin had turned green. Then the witch smirked as she rose up and cackled. It sounded like a scream and hurt her ears. Yet even worse she heard her laughing in her head. This is what terrified her the most as she started panting as her mind worked faster than it ever had been before.
“G-get out of my head! Get out of my head! Get out of my head! Get out of my head! Get out of my head!”
“No. I can’t. Not ’til one of us is dead!”
Then she stood up.
“I hope to see ya tomorrow dearies!”
Then green smoke rose up and when the smoke was blown away she was gone!
