Doormaze Drage The Green Witch Part One

The Green People 

The one thing that Doormaze noticed when she woke up in the new universe was the green figures in the distance. She had to blino a few times to get rid of the blue in her sight. She has to lie there for a moment as she let her mind come round. Once she did, she noticed that the green figures were humanoid. Then she let herself get a closer look and noticed that they looked human exactly, just with green skin.

Once she knew that she was ready, she sat up. She looked around to see that Coalmine and Burn were still unconscious. So she placed a hand on them. She patted them at first. However, upon that not working, she slapped them. This woke them both up.

“What’d you do that for?”

“You needed to be woken up.”

“Oh.”

They all walked to the green people.

“Hello.”

That was when a woman looked at them. Her eyes widened.

“How is your skin not green yet?”

“What?”

They frowned.

“What?”

“Are you not under Greenleaf’s curse?”

Doormaze frowned.

“Who’s Greenleaf?”

“The witch that turned our skin green.”

Doormaze looked at him with astonishment.

“How?”

“She gave us all a test. It dictated that if we were to show any envy, any at all, and our skin would turn green. And we have been her slaves ever since.”

“And where does she ligw?”

“The Emerald Mansion.”

“And do you think that the colour of your skin would return to normal once she is dead?”

She frowned.

“I don’t think that I know although I should expect so.”

“And how powerful is she?”

“Pretty.”

“Is there anything else we should know?”

That was when she looked to the side with shame and anger.

“Yes. Once your skin becomes green you and the witch will have a telepathic link. She knows all my thoughts. Including talking to you three.”

Her eyes widened as she shuddered.

“What?”

“Yes.”

“Is that all?” Coalmine asked.

This was when the woman cringed and became pale.

“Yes. She will hold your very soul.”

They all nodded.

“And does she hold a piece of the Reality Sphere?”

“Well, that would make too much sense.”

“Right, and where is the Emerald Mansion?”

That was when the woman became rigid for a moment. Then her features changed and became more wicked.

“Go in a straight line to the east. You will find it. And do take care not to take too long.”

They all went pale and nodded.

“Thank you.”

So they set off and walked until nightfall, only taking a break for lunch.
