Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Part Three
Defeat
The castle was tall and thin. It had two towers which were also tall and thin. The bricks were uneven and grey and the windows were tall and so thin that light could hardly get in. They walked to the tall and narrow double doors. They were dark brown and so narrow that they might as well have been a single door.
They opened and they walked in.
Ahead of them was a tall and thin man. He had pale skin and black eyes with dark curly hair with a mischievous smirk.
“About time you arrived.” He spoke with a calm low pitched voice.
“Why did you do this?”
He let out a low pitched laugh.
“Because it is hilarious! Do you know how it is? To see people being torn apart by the simple truth!” He laughed.
At this, Doormaze narrowed her eyes as she thought of that woman. A good woman that had been driven into isolation by all of this.
“Do you know what you have done?”
“Hurt my dear stupid little sister and her mayorship.”
“Why?”
“I love tormenting her. It is always so hilarious to see her face when I ruin it all for her!”
Doormaze narrowed her eyes in outrage.
“And why? What do you get out of it?”
“I guess you would know what it is like to see someone just snap at you.”
Doormaze Drage remained silent.
“Oh. The moment that they crash out is so enjoyable. I can’t tell you what it’s like. It has a level of satisfaction that is so irresistable.”
At this he laughed and laughed. Yet Doormaze could do nothing but glare at him. She was about to charge at him.
“Tell me, I can tell that you have had a crash out. Or, at least, you’re getting close to one.”
She frowned.
“And what do you mean by that?”
“I can tell that you are a mile away.”
She narrowed her eyes.
“What?”
“Yeah. It’s in your eyes. So come on. Why not give in?” He sang as he pulled out a necklace. That was when Doormaze saw the piece at the end.
“If you win I'll give this to you little lady.”
At this Doormaze charged at him. Burn used her magic to send fire at him and Doormaze used her water and both fired at him. He flicked at them and they blasted the other way. They all had to drive out of the way. Then Doormaze ran back on and on. She only just reached him when he blew her a kiss and soon she flung back and she landed. She got up as he laughed.
“Looks like you couldn’t get me off my chair.”
She just glared as she got back onto her feet. She then picked up a rock and ran back. When she reached him he went to blow her another ‘kiss’ and she flicked the rock at him and he flicked the rock away. Then he blew the kiss and she was back on the ground again.
She looked back to see a sword. She scrambled up to it and got back up. She ran back to and when he went to blow her another kiss she drove the blade to his head. He flicked the air and it was flung back and she was back on the floor. She looked up at him. He pointed to the wall behind her. She looked back to see that the blade was completely lodged into the wall!
Her eyes widened as her jaw dropped.
How? How did that even happen?
Nevermind that. I need to land a bit. Just one hit.
She got back up and looked for another weapon. She soon spotted one, a chain with a spiked ball at the end. Something that she knew that she could use but could not remember the name of.
She quickly took it and ran back up to him. When he went to blow another kiss at her and she flicked the spiked ball at him. He raised his hand and grabbed it and pulled it in. Soon her head hit his chest.
“Tell me.” He said as she felt his hand on her back. “What bully ticked you off the most?”
Suddenly she saw an image of Natalie flick up in her mind.
“How did you-”
He shrugged.
“Please! I can see a bully magnet a mile away! So amuse me!”
Doormaze narrowed her eyes. She thought about all the times when Natalie would tease her until she hit back and play victim. Then how she would, whenever she could get away with it, shove her head into the loo. Or she would get boys to do it just in hope to ‘date’ Natalie. She thought about how she would start nasty rumors, like she was a dumb cheat or that her birthmarks were tattoos and she would have to explain that she was not again and again and again every time they would have a new teacher. She remembered how she would be called ugly or not loved despite the fact that most people could tell that she was neither.
This caused her rage to build in her like a pulse. She knew that the Basilisk’s Eye was activated. She went to look up but the other hand kept her head down.
“No, no, no. Look down, where you belong!”
At this she curled her lip and then she dropped the mace and then went to punch him but this was caught. Then he pushed her back and soon she was back on the ground.
Honestly, where is Burn?
She looked to the side to see that she was unconscious. She frowned and saw the blood coming from her head!
Then he laughed.
“You just noticed? Some friend you are! You did not even see that when I fired the blade away, I knocked her out with the hilt. Shame, I was aiming to stab her!”
He raised his hand and suddenly she was in front of him. She felt his hand around her neck.
“Do you even deserve to have friends?”
She looked away.
“I don’t know.”
He pulled her closer.
“Good girl. Now, I think that I have made my point.” He spoke and the next moment they were outside the door of the castle. All Doormaze could do was carry Burn back to the town to see a doctor.
