The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Six

 The Second Wyrm Division 

It was in the afternoon when they saw the next division on the horizon. Loc looked at the men that were still alive. She looked at the eagles and then back at the ones that were coming and did not like her odds. She looked at the eagles and noticed that more of them, which meant that they would have to do more of the heavy lifting. She bit the bottom lip as she knew that she needed to get all of this done as fast as she could.

So she looked at the men and the eagles. Soon an idea came to mind. One that was still a long shot but it was the best one that she had. So she jumped down and looked at them.

“Alright, they’re coming.”

“What?”

“Now!”

“But we hardly survived the last time!”

“Shut it! All you abled men, get a torch each. Eagles, get your bow anf arrows! Then pick a man, men you get on their backs, Elijah, I will be on you.”

“Why?”

“No time to explain. But on the battlefield, you will know.” She said as she climbed on his back.

Then they were soon collected the torches and lit them and climbed on the eagles.

“Now get in the air!” She called once the last torch was lit.

“Now what?”

“When we are near enough men light the arrows and eagles, fire at the head!”

They nodded.

“But-”

“Trust me!”

So they all started fly towards the wyrms, by this time the wyrms had come closer and closer to the kingdom. She looked at each and every one of them. She saw that the first row of ten. She looked at the rest of them and she counted that there were ten rows. She let out a deep breath.

Please let this work.

“Now!” She shouted.

With that the men lit the arrows and she lit Elijah’s. They fired at the heads of the first row and she used her fire power into the brains. This caused them to roar and shake their heads. She quickly looked to the row behind and they rapidly repeated the action on that row and the next row. She then used the fire to expand the flames into the brain.

That was when the fourth row saw the arrows and dodged. She used the fire power to push the fire on. This caused them to look down as they let out a roar. This gave them the opening to hit the heads. She used the fire to engulf their brains. Then she pushed the fire on and this was accompanied by more arrows as she continued to engulf their brains in brains. She pushed the fire on and the row behind looked down and they were able to repeat this action until they took out the sixth row. 

She pushed the fire on but this time they did not look down. They looked up and dived to her along with the rest of the row. This caused the eagles to fly up and yet they all had to climb higher and higher. Yet, when they towered above the wall, she gave the signal and they fired at the head. When they tried to get out of the way they fell and collided into the ones behind. 

That was when they were able to fire at the chin. Then she pushed the fire forward and into the head. She looked up to see that there were more coming at the group. Quickly they fired at the heads as they all dived out of the way. She then pushed the fire on and into the heads. Yet then came the final twenty.

She saw that they were all looking at her. They all fired at her. The rest fired at them and she used her fire power to set them all alight.

“Now what?”

“Bed. From what I’ve learnt, we will be having two more divisions to deal with tomorrow.”

He nodded as they returned to their place and slept.
