The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Five

 A Narrow Victory 


Her eyes opened. She heard the muffled cries all around her. Her body was covered in a warm liquid that stuck and smelt of iron, meat and something else. She looked around to see that there were many bodies around her in the dim light. She swam on and on and soon reached a moist and soft wall ahead of her. She pulled out her sword and dug it into the wall. She then dragged the blade down. Soon the acid poured out and into the rest of the body. Yet she had to keep cutting to the other sides and then in the centre.

She was soon pushed out of the stomach. She dug her blade into the inner flesh. She sliced down then pushed herself out of the body. She let in a gasp of fresh air but she knew that she could not rest. So she used her fire power and pushed it on to the head. She then put the fire out and let the gravity push her body down and she kept her blade and it dug into the skull. Then she pulled it out and thrust her fire into the hole.

She looked up to the rest being crushed by more and more of them. She dived on and pushed her fire out. She raised her blade up as she crashed into the head opposite then pulled out her blade and pushed the fire into the skull. She then dived on and repeated the action. She did this again and again and again. She made sure to use as little fire as she could. She knew that she had to make sure that it would be able to spread out the battle as much as she could.

She spotted a head dive at her and she outstretched her hand, pulled her body up and rolled her body up the nose. She rolled and rolled and then thrust her blade into the skull and drove into the hole. She looked around to see another coming at her. She dived off the wyrm and onto that one. She ran on and drove her blade down. Then pushed her fire into the hole. She saw another one and did this again and again and again. 

Then she was hit. She flew in the air and spotted the mouth ahead. Quickly, she put her blade away and pulled out her hammers. Then drove them down and then hit up, ripping a hole in the back of its throat. Then she drove a blast of fire up with her foot and pressed on and into the brain. Then flew out.

She looked ahead to see another wyrm ahead of her. He too opened his mouth to her. She then pushed the fire out of her feet and then, when the jaws snapped back down, she flicked her blade back into its sheath and pulled out the hammers. She whacked up and blasted a ball of fire up and dived to the back, put her hammers away and pulled out Peble and sliced the back of the throat. She then burst out only to see another set and repeated the action again and again and again.

That was when one of them whacked her with their tail. Then she hit the ground and rolled and rolled and rolled as she landed. She then used the momentum to roll up. She then looked around to see that the rest of the men were able to get the head. Yet there were many dead men around her. As she forced herself to look ahead she noticed that there were more ahead.

She then suppressed a groan as she raced on and used her fire to get into the air and threw herself at the head and whacked the first head and drew her feet in and pushed the fire down. Then she moved on and hit down. She did this again and again and again. Yet as she did, she had to push out the cries of the soldiers as she moved onto the next one and the next one and the next one. 

That was when she saw the rain of fire tipped arrows hit ones at the back. She looked back to see the eagles dive to the wyrms that had their heads now engulfed in fire. Then flew on and fired at even more and she had to look back to see that more men were dead than alive. Yet she had to ignore this and then back to the ones ahead. She noticed that not many are alive now.

She flew to the one that was closest to her left only to be hit by one and soon she was eclipsed by the one to the right. The next thing the mouth was crushed and she saw the teeth. She looked up and down to see an opening. Upon seeing none. She turned back and ran on and burst out from the back then she hit the ground. She looked back to see the eagles took out the rest of them.

She let out a sigh of relief as her head hit the ground and slept right there and then.

 The Army Against The Last  Loc had a light nap before waking up to see the fakegels, a name she had come up with after the fight and handed the second borns over to the rest of the first borns.
