The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Four

 The First strike


Loc and the rest woke up early. They all cleaned and sharpened their blades and arrows. The eagles looked at each and every arrow and counted them all. They then went on to check their bows. Once they knew that they were all ready,they all set off to the spot where the first division of the army would be. 

They saw the wyrms appearing on the horizon. She spotted how big they were and could not help but think of Surpenti and her body. She noticed just how small she was compared to them. 

She could feel fear rise like a wave as they came closer and closer and closer. She could feel herself shaking slightly. She had to let out a deep breath as she noticed that there were some men that were shaking too. One looked at her with nothing but fear in his eyes with sweat surrounding them. That was the only thing that she could see in his eyes. Yet despite this he looked on; however she could not help but notice his eyes dropping to the left. She looked down to see that her hands had started shaking again. 

She looked up at the eagles. They all nodded and flew up and on. They all flew as silently as smoke. Yet there were the soft sound of the flapping of winds. The wyrms looked up and one zoomed at one of them and plucked him from the sky!

Knowing that this would continue she pulled out Rock and Stone and charged on. The rest of the human army charged behind her. Then one looked directly at her the next moment she saw the fire protruding from the mouth. Quickly she put her hammers away and reached out her hands to stop the wave of fire and blasted it back and drove it to the eyes. This caused the front row to look up. Then their eyes were hit by the arrows.

At this they let out a roar which Loc felt jarring as she would have expected a hiss. 

That was when the tail hit the land next to her and she was hit by the rubble. Yet as her sight moved on she saw more soldiers being hit. Yet they all got up as she felt rubble behind her. She looked back to see that the tail had already hit. Then all went darker for a moment. She looked up to see the tail above her. She dived away only to be hit. 

The next moment she saw the head of the wyrm, which looked more like a dragon than a snake, open it’s mouth and the moment that her feet touched the tongue, she flicked out and pulled out Rock and Stone and hit the nose down. Then she dived on and thrust the hammers in between the eyes. She did this again and again and again until she heard the break and with the next hit she penetrated the brain. Yet she had to continue on and it swung it’s head from side to side.

Then she saw the line of fire beside her. Quickly she pulled the fire in and blasted it into the head. Then the first fell. She rolled off.

She got up as she saw more fire coming down. She stopped it and then threw it back and into the eyes. This set the arrows on fire and she then heard them all roar out. As their heads swayed from side to side she knew that this was not enough.

“Go for the skull!” She called to the eagles at the top of her lungs.

They all looked at her and nodded. They all hit the eyes and shot between them. She then set them all alight and drove the fire inwards soon they fell. They did this again and again and again and more and more were set alight before they hit the ground. 

Then she saw a shadow around her. Quickly she dived back before the head came down. Yet as soon as she did she saw another and she had to dive on. Yet at soon as she did, she looked back to see that the head was on fire. She then saw another head dive to her. As she dived back she saw the mouth open. A liquid sprayed outwards then it sparked and blasted fire towards her. 

She put her hammers away before she outstretched her hands and as she parted the fire she felt something but her shoulder. Soon she rolled rapidly in the air. Yet she felt another whack and she felt her body fly the other way but faster. Then she was whacked down and hit the ground hard. Then she was hit again and again until all went black…

 Plan They arrived at the outskirts of Centrepoint. It seemed like a rocky wasteland. Where there were lava rivers and orange rocks as far as they could see. The clouds were bright orange and thick.  The Army Against The Last  Loc had a light nap before waking up to see the fakegels, a name she had come up with after the fight and handed the second borns over to the rest of the first borns. She could see the men also taking a light nap, just like she was. Yet she knew that she did not have time to wake them. So she pulled out her sword as she could not be bothered to get Rock and Stone. There was no time. She ran on and on. To her relief she did not see a line this time but she did hear shouting in the homes of mainly women and some arguing men. Don’t focus upon that.
