The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Seven

 The Third Round


It was early in the morning and the sun had not yet risen. All the soldiers, eagles and Loc ate all the food that the king brought to them as fast as they could before they had to prepare for the battle ahead. She breathed in and out. 

She remembered the events the afternoon before and knew that that was the best strategy. Yet she knew that if the wyrms would like at the end then they would have to rise higher faster. So, as her eyes rested upon the horizon, while they still had time, they went out and practiced that. Once they were in the air, she saw the dust cloud.

They all collected their torches and the eagles got their bows and arrows. As soon as they were on their backs they set off.

The moment that the wyrms saw them they all let their fire out of their mouths. She stopped it and pushed it back. That was then the men set the tips of the first arrows and fired. Then the heads pushed out of the fire. They went to the ones nearest to them. Then the arrows hit. She soon lit the arrows and she pushed the fire on. 

Yet then she saw the jaws beneath her. She then saw the liquid as it collided. Acting on her gut feeling she set it on fire and pushed it back as they all dived up. They all climbed up as high as they could within one flap. Then she lit the tip of the arrow and the nearest did the same. Then they hit the head and she used her power to spread the fire. She then looked ahead.

Ahead of her was a row of wyrms. Then she saw the fire blast out at them. This caused them to dodge out of the way. Then they dived down but they all raised their arrows up and lit them and fired. She used her fire and pushed the fire up as far and as hard as she could. 

Then she felt the fire before it came close to her. She just about stopped it. Yet soon they were eclipsed by the mouth. Yet she then spotted that there were tubes at both ends of the back of the throat.

“Fire at those!” She called.

He nodded and hit in the tubes

“Now get out!”

He nodded as he turned to the opening of the mouth. He flew on and she let out a blast of fire behind her which caused them to zoom out of the mouth. That was when she looked back and the tubes exploded! She looked onward as some were just able to escape the mouth. Yet some did not. Five, at least. Yet they were all able to come to the same conclusion. This led to more heads exploding!

She let out a slight sigh. Yet she did not have the time to celebrate. They arched back to the rest. She saw that there were only thirty left. She let out a huff. She looked at the rest and they looked at her. She nodded as they lit their tips and hit one of them each and she spread the fire into the rest of the head. As they were burning they moved on and repeated the same action again and again l, taking out five all together at a time. 

Then she saw another wall of fire coming at her. She stopped it and saw more being blasted at the eagles. She just about stopped it then she sent the fire back down. Yet some came to her left. She saw another blast and was able to stop that. She had to do this again and again and again. Then she noticed the fire had hit the ground.

This gave her an idea. She focused her fire power at the fire and pulled it up to her. She then focused upon the heat and made it hotter and hotter and hotter. This caused them all to roar as they were all covered. She kept this up until they were all ash.

“Why didn’t you do that sooner?”

“Didn’t think of it sooner.”

That was when she passed out.

 Plan They arrived at the outskirts of Centrepoint. It seemed like a rocky wasteland. Where there were lava rivers and orange rocks as far as they could see. The clouds were bright orange and thick.  The Army Against The Last  Loc had a light nap before waking up to see the fakegels, a name she had come up with after the fight and handed the second borns over to the rest of the first borns. She could see the men also taking a light nap, just like she was. Yet she knew that she did not have time to wake them. So she pulled out her sword as she could not be bothered to get Rock and Stone.
