The Nine Dragons The Water Dragon Final Part
Blood In The Water
When Loc woke, she knew what to do. She looked at the water and then struck two metals together until it produced a spark. This she dropped onto the wood below, igniting it. Knowing that the whole place would be on fire she ran and ran. Then she saw the fire spreading rapidly throughout the place. She kept on her toes as she saw the fire spread beside her and soon overtook her. Yet despite all of this, she kept on running until she came to the end of the place, which was only marked by a single stone arch. She ran onto a small hill. At either side of her was a stone wall. Keeping the water and the conversation liquid and the sea separated.
She looked on to see the stepping stones ahead of her. She jumped onto one and then onto another and another and another. She kept this up until she saw a long and large spine in the water. She looked down to see the large sea serpent. She, for a moment, was reminded of the one that she saw in the mirror world but this one was much larger. She froze with fear as it slithered under her. She noticed that the scales were the size of a head. Yet she knew that she could not let her fear get the better of her. So she forced herself to calm down.
“Well, what are you waiting for?” Asked a large and booming voice.
This caught her off guard. Then she felt herself swing in the air as the stones broke away.
“Attack!” He shouted.
Then she plunged into the water. The next thing that she saw was a head coming directly at her! She flicked her sword out and, before she knew it, she was inside the mouth. She swam down and stabbed the tongue. Which did nothing so she chopped at it again and again and again until Aquamort let out a roar which pushed her out of the mouth.
Yet she swam back to the mouth when she was hit by boiling water. Then she shot out of the water and she focused all that she had on keeping hold of her blade. Then, as she started falling, she looked down at the giant head of the sea serpent. She looked like a small puppy to it. Then she saw the bubbles rising from his throat and then she felt the hot water all around her. Then she was thrust higher in the air. Then she fell again and hit the water hard.
She looked up to see the upper mouth chomp down and she pulled her blade up into the gum. Then she was struck in the back. She was soon rammed down further and further into the water at such an alarming speed that it frightened her. All she could do is stab up and ram her blade into the tail. This stopped the tail and, if she did not grip the hilt as hard as she could, she would have crashed into and been diced up by the coral below! Ignoring this, she was pulled up in the air. Then she struck the water again and again and again. Soon she felt the panic rise within her.
She swung out and only just slashed Aquamort’s face and was soon looking into his face.
“My, my, my, you are a fighter! That is, unlike that Ryu Dra. He took one look at me and turned tail and ran.”
“So the Dragon Cult’s account is nothing but a big lie?”
“Ohh yes! Just some bit of theatre until-”
She yanked her blade out and dived at his eye and sank the blade deep into his eye further. Then she pulled it out and stabbed it again and again and again. She dived to the other eye and thrust it into it. She pushed into the eye socket as he closed his eyes. She kept hacking away in the eyeball. Then she drove herself back.
Then the sea serpent shook again and again and again. She saw the talons scrape her. Yet she continued to hack and hack, digging deeper and deeper. Yet she kept on going. Then she was yanked back and out of the eye. She looked down at his half bloody face as she hit the water.
She then swam at the cuts and she drove Peble into the wounds. There she continued to slice and slice again and again and again until the bone was completely exposed. Then came the talons she pulled herself in and he went to scrape her again and again but he crawled away at the bone again and again and again. This chipped the bone away again and again and again until it fell away. This exposed the brain. She stabbed at it as he too did the same until he moved no more.
She then swam up and up and broke out of the surface and swam to the hill. There she collapsed and when she woke, she was shaking over all that she had done. She just could not stop shaking. She would have celebrated over it afterwards but there was none to celebrate with. She then made her way throughout the place and burnt the pools and looked for food. She soon found it and ate it. For the next three days she spent building her strength up and, when she was strong enough, she found the pool and left to slay the next dragon and his or her armies.
