Scar Parents Fight Part One

 Attacked By A Hunter

Scar was at school when she saw something strange outside the window. It was a man dressed in all black. He was looking directly at her. Yet the moment that he spotted that she was looking at him, he looked away.

Something bad is about to happen. Is he a servant of the witches?

No. He looks like a hunter.

Then he must have been sent by…

She closed her eyes in dread and rubbed them to make her dread. She did not know if she should call that woman, Morana, mother nor did she think that she was ready nor did she act like it. She did try to kill her and she had done nothing, but give birth to her, motherly. In her heart Charlotte Cox, or Kill, was her mother. This also meant her father, no, Alex has failed in stopping Morana from going after her again. Yet she knew that she was not ready to call him father either.

She felt the dread sink in as she suddenly realised that she wanted her mother to be here just to comfort her. Yet sheknrq that she would have to keep her fear tamed.

Once school was over, she walked out of the door and past the gates. She carefully followed the crowd to the local corner shop. She then looked through the windows, just to look at the reflection behind her. To her dismay, the man was there.

She felt the dread build in her mind as she walked on. She looked at the lollipops and bought a pack of sherbet ones. She hoped that the sweet taste would make her feel better as she could already feel the lump in her throat as he left the shop.

She could feel the sweat of fear being released. She started to feel cold. She tried to steady her breath as she tried not to tremble. She did not want to give anything away. She had to do all that she could to keep herself calm. Yet, despite her best efforts, she could feel the tears coming as she thought about what she could do to survive. Yet the more that she thought about it, the more she realised that there was no chance that she was. This man had come to kill and, regardless of what she tried to do, he would always overpower her.

She could feel her legs shaking as she could feel the tears falling. She tried to hide the fact that she was crying.

Then she looked to the side of her right to see one of her classmates being fussed over by his mother.

“Stop it! Honestly! You’re embarrassing me!”

She looked away as she could feel her heart sinking as she knew that she could never have that. She would never have anything akin to a normal life and even worse; the woman that gave birth to her wanted her dead.

It’s not fair! She thought as the lump in her throat became bigger.

She saw a bench and, even though she knew that she ought to continue on, she also knew that there was no way that her body would let her. So she walked to the bench. There she tried to calm herself down.

“So, you knew that I was following you, did you? That’s good.”

She looked down, daring not to look up at him.

“That makes this a lot more easier!”

The moment she saw his hand was the moment that she dived away, dropping her almost finished lollipop. She then slid off the bench and scrambled to her feet and started running. She did not run that far when she felt a foot in her back. She rolled onto the ground. She then was able to use the momentum to roll up but she looked back to see a hand being thrust down. She ducked and dived in, thrusting her fist into his throat. Yet he easily caught it. She then went to punch him but he caught her by the rist. He stomped upon her feet to stop her from kicking him. She thrust her head in and headbutted him in the nose.

He let go and she thrust her foot into his stomach. Only for him to catch it. He then pulled her in and wrapped his hand around her throat. He squeezed as she tried and tried to pull him off her. But his grip was far too strong. She was utterly helpless as he pulled her up. Soon her feet were swinging as she could feel his grip tighten.

She tried to kick him only to find that her legs were too short. She knew that she should hit him in the arm but she was afraid that it would only make it easier for him to crush her neck.

She was going to die here. She was going to die here and there was nothing that she could do to stop it. She could see her vision blur and her head pounded. Her lungs cried out for air but she could not breathe. She felt her tears stream down her face and she could feel her head getting colder and colder.

Help please! Help me! Somebody! Please help me!

She closed her eyes as she just wanted this to be over. Then she heard a bang and she dropped. She landed on the ground. She opened her eyes to see what happened. Then she saw the bullet hole in the temple. The next thing she saw was Charlotte rest a hand upon her.

“Are you alright?”
