The Nine Dragons The Feathered Dragon Part Two

 The Flock


She arrived at four o’clock in the afternoon. The sun had not yet set. So, when she arrived, she saw a bench in front of a ledge that was on the end of the land mass. It was made of wood in the shape of a bird. So, she walked up to it and sat down. She took out a chicken sandwich that she had packed and ate it.

She looked ahead as all of the village folk were all running to their homes. Then one sqe her. He had black hair and steel grey eyes.

“Oi! What’re you doing? Get back to your home before the flock gets here!”

“I don’t have a home.”

“Well in that case, come home with me!”

“No. I think that I would like to fight the flock.”

“What? Are you mad? You will never survive that!”

“Well that’s for you to think. Also I have just taken down Serpenti and her army.”

“Who? The snake dragon?”

“Yeah!”

He let out a scream as he crossed his arms in front of him.

“Then stay away from me! You crazy girl!” He shouted as he ran to his home.

She just shrugged as she looked up as she saw a group of humanoid birds, flying towards the town. She could see that they were like anthropomorphic pigeons. She saw that they were in full armour that looked like feathers made of gold. Then she saw the bows and arrows in their hands.

She saw that as the people ran to and fro an arrow was being pointed at one of them. She tried to throw a ball of fire at the arrow but nothing happened. That was when she saw an arrow racing to a child. She soon covered the child and the arrow hit her back. That was when she saw the bird take another nearby.

She then ran to the nearest bird person and stabbed him in the skull. She then kicked it off the child as he cried with a bleeding arm. She then picked him up. Then another came at her. She pulled the sword up and slit the throat as she ran to the man’s home. He opened the door.

“I told -”

“Here.” She said, shoving the child into his arms before he had time to protest.

She then ran to another as an old woman was struck. She ran to her but two more flew to her. Then it pecked at her. Loc sliced the head off one in her way.  She then heard her screaming. Yet she saw another one and she stabbed it before running on. By the time she reached the old woman, she was nothing but grim chunks.

She then looked up as some came to her. She then felt an arrow in her shoulder. She looked up to see an army of arrows racing at her! She dived out of the way as countless arrows buried themselves into the corpse. She looked up again, to see more arrows coming at her. She dived to the left. Then she  saw more and she dived to the right. That was when she was struck by the beak of one in the face.

She reached out and grabbed the leg. She pulled it down and stabbed it in the head and pulled it out. She then spotted another about to go for her. She stabbed the wing. Then, as it fell, she stabbed it in its head. She turned back and slashed the head in half. She saw another beak coming at her and she sliced the head clean off.

That was when she was plucked up and thrown in the air. She was surrounded by arrows. They were soon coming at her. She knew that she had to do something. So she curled up into a ball then she was hit. She felt even more pain as she fell. Then she opened her eyes and spotted the entire flock that was coming towards her. 

She flicked her blade out and chopped one of the bird person’s head off. As she did, another dug their beak into her and used its neck to pull the chunk out. Then it swallowed the chunk. She stabbed it in the head. She saw claws and chopped the leg off. She reached out her hand and pulled it in. Then stabbed it in the head then was pulled out in the air and started to fall only to see that there was nothing beneath her!

She felt dread building as she fell and fell. She could feel her panic rise faster than her heartbeat. She could feel the wind in her hair as she could feel her falling faster and faster. She looked around dreading what she would inevitably feel the moment that she would hit the ground beneath the clouds. Then she saw a bird person shooting at her.

When they collided she grabbed it from behind. She flipped over and gripped the feathers at the back of the neck. She looked up at the land above her. She saw crystals underneath that were glowing purple, orange and green. 

She pulled up and they started to fly up. She dived at the land mass then above the town. She pushed forward and, when she was safe, she stabbed it in the head. Then she dived to the ground and she rolled as she landed. She then rolled on her feet. She looked up to see three coming towards her. She ran and jumped then sliced the heads clean off. She saw more coming at her and she did this again and again and again until the sky was and all the birds were dead. Along with several old men, women and children.

  The Boa Army Loc was working hard in the field. It was getting to evening time. She had found that she liked working there as a farmer. There was just something so satisfying in doing hard work and made the food taste better and she slept better too. She could see herself doing this for the rest of her life however long that would be, yet she knew that she could not. Regardless of how much she liked the village and the people there. She had noticed that the people there looked almost like the people in her world just without any pupils and they were weaker too. She also noticed that despite this, they were all hard working and nothing was eaten until they had done their work. During this time she had completely recovered her whole energy and strength from all of the battles that she had on that day. She had also been able to gather her thoughts and psychology recovered and was able to have her time of mourning her losses from her rebellion. Yet she found that this might have been due

 The Purple Monster  “Why?” “Open the book and put all of the other Purple Artefacts into the page that it fits.” Doormaze nodded as she opened the book. On the first page as a hole where she put the Purple Purl in. The page glowed and for a moment. When the glowing died down the purl was in the page, almost like a picture.
