The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Two
Attack Falls
It was five in the morning when King Aki woke her up. She stirred slightly before he made sure to speed her mind up. Once she slipped out of bed he made sure to walk into the rest of the rooms and woke up all the rest of the men.
Then they all walked to the gates. They could see the dots in the distance. She looked at the end and saw one fly near a tree in the distance and this showed her that it looked like a small dragon. Yet as it came closer and closer they all looked like wyverns that were slightly smaller than her world and had strange bat-like heads.
Which, for a moment, gave her cause for relief. That was when she saw the look on everyone else’s face which wiped it all away. Horror was haunting their eyes like a spectra. Their faces were as pale as death as they ground their teeth together in fear.
So she turned back, keeping her own bias in check. After all, the strange wyverns in their world may not be like the ones in her’s, they might have been smart.
She closed her eyes and focused her mind on the battle ahead of her. She knew that she did not have time to make any comparisons nor assumptions. Not with their lives on the line. After all, this was who all of this had been for.
Yet the first one came close and a cannon was set off, yet it missed. Another one was set off and that too missed!
Why are they all missing?
That was when she looked to the right to see a man putting a ball in and aimed and lit with a shaky hand. The next thing she was seeing was the curtain of fire blast by her. She looked on, knowing that she did not have time to focus upon that. She then ran on and thrust it into the cannon and aimed it before lighting the top. This hit. Yet others saw this and did the same with less shaky hands and more hit and some missed.
Yet as they came they fired at one after another again and again only for the one behind to fly out of the way. They then shot a ball of fire at them. Quickly they dived at the merlons and they all flew over them. Yet they had to focus on them as they returned to firing at them before they had time to send a fireball at them.
Loc just hoped that the ones stationed inside were able to get them. So she fired another one and another one only for the ones behind to send another fireball at them. They all hid from it and dived at the cannons and repeated the action again and again and again.
That was when they all heard a cry and an explosion from behind. She looked back to see a line that was a house that was on fire and the bricks were all rubble on the floor. That was when she saw a blast of another one at the ground floor of the street causing the upper floors to fall and those on the top of them to roll off them.
That was when they descended upon them like vultures. That was when she saw ahead to see to them only for one to block her. Then she looked down at the rest of the wall to see the rest of them that were not scouting the streets had set fire to all of the houses like the wall. The next thing that she saw was the wall of fire. Then she saw the fire cause cracks. They all pushed the cannons down and fired at them.
This took out a row of them but their head hit the cracks and soon the wall broke beneath them.
The next moment they were all falling and Loc tried to fly up only for the fire to hit her. Then she hit the ground and all went black.
