Scar The Journey Home Part Five
The Breath Of The Dragon
Detective Smith dived in and pulled her out. Beatrice and Britannia looked at her body with shock, with Britannia holding her twin’s hand so tightly that her hand was growing cold before he got out.
“Scar!” They cried as they dived at her once her body was laid down.
“She-she’s not breathing! Why isn’t she breathing?” They started to weep as they looked at their father in desperation.
Yet they placed their hands on the cooling body and shook it.
“S-Scar!”
“No! Wake up! Please wake up!”
Yet upon her not moving or breathing they burst into tears.
“C-can’t you use CPR o-or something?”
He opened his mouth to speak when a man with light purple hair and eyes with a slit walked up to them.
“Let me help.” He spoke with a voice that was rich with age and wisdom despite his youthful appearance.
“What?”
“Why?” Morana asked.
“Because this is why I am here. To save someone important. Although I was not who but I will know her when I see her.”
“Who?”
He placed a hand on the dead girl’s head and closed his eyes. Suddenly, all her wounds were healed.
“Who are you?”
“Prince Purrellus. A dragon royal. Yet I am in my human form.”
“What!?”
“A dragon? A real dragon?”
“Indeed.”
“And who told you?”
“A Follower of the Great Being. Now silence! I have a job to do.”
He soon pressed his lips to her’s and breathed into her mouth as he pressed on her heart. Then pulled away as he kept pressing on her heart again and again and again. Then he breathed into her again then pulled away. He did this again and again and again and again pressing the heart even turns between each breath. On the fifth breath fire rushed out from her mouth as she got up and life was restored to her body.
Then she coughed and coughed. She took a glance at Purrellus for a moment in shock. Yet he too looked ather in shock. He placed a hand on her cheek almost like he wanted to take a better and closer look at her face. He blinked as if to check his eyes were not playing tricks on him.
“You really are the Mythos Puros?!” He asked, breathlessly.
“Scar. My name is Scar.”
He nodded and smiled as if looking at a precious and rare ruby.
“Scar. Are you the Mythos Puros?”
She let out a dismayed sigh.
“That is what they call me!”
He smiled.
“Scar, Mythos Puros, you are a Philosopher’s Stone among rubies.”
At this, she felt odd. She did not know what to say to this. She did not know how to react to this. She did not even know what to do with this. She could tell by his eyes that he was being genuine, which took her back.
“I-I am?”
“Yes.”
That was when Morana placed a hand on his shoulder.
“Keep this secret. The Mythos Puros wants a normal life. So don’t tell anyone that you have met her or of her existence.”
He nodded.
“I understand but I will say that a time will come when you will be known throughout the land when you will bear that title with dignity.” he spoke as he got up and left.
“Are you alright Scar?”
“I mean you were dead!”
She looked down shyly and smiled with misty eyes.
“I don’t know.” She muttered as she looked to the side.
“What happened to my wounds?”
“Prince Purrellus, the dragon. He healed you!”
“He-he did?” She muttered as it sank in what she said. “Hold on, did you call him a dragon?”
“Yes.”
She looked on as he turned into a metallic royal purple dragon with astonishment.
Yet as they got up they spotted a group walking up to the group.
“Tell me, who are you?”
“Morana.”
“Are you aware of the payment that criminals like you have to pay?”
“Excuse me!”
“No. Why?”
“Then both you and your husband are to come with us. After all, you must pay by barring our king’s child. Then, when the child is delivered, you can return to your husband. Yet we will take him too to keep you in line.”
“What!”
Soon they were all knocked out. When Scar and the twins woke, Morana and Detective Smith were gone.
“What are we gonna do now?”
