The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Seven

 The Unit At The Gate


When they arrived, the first thing that Loc did was walk right up to the doors. The drake looked at her.

“What are you doing here?”

“To kill the dragon, Dracula.”

“Treason!”

He pulled out a spear. 

“I will kill you!”

She ran back as he chased her.

Worked like a charm. Hope the others are able to do the same. She thought as she arrived at the spot.

The group at the east walked up to the guards at the east gate.

“What are you doing here?”

“I-I am here to kill the king-”

“‘Prince’.”

“Dracula.”

“Treason!”

He pulled out a spear.

“I will kill you!”

They all charged at them and they ran as fast as they could to the spot.

The north group arrived at the north gate.

“What business do you have here, bird?”

“To kill the prince Dracula.”

“That is treason! Come here traitors and I shall execute you!”

“Make us!”

So they flew away and the drakes followed the eagles. Soon they flew to the spot.

The west group arrived at the west gate.

“And what are you doing here?”

“To-to kill the Prince Dracula!”

“That’s treason! Get here!”

“No, get us!”

Soon they all arrived at their spot.

Then, at the same time they all dived down from the rooftops and struck down all of them then landed on a tree below. Then struck the sides of the ones that they missed and landed on the ground with a roll. As the drakes fell they dived back and slit the throats as they landed on the ground. Then they saw more to the left and slit the heels and caused them to fall and then their throats were quickly slit.

After burning them, they all walked to the gate. Loc noticed not one of the men nor eagle man were killed. This caused her some relief but she did well not to lower her guard. Yet they all tried to get in their gate only to find the south gate was the only real one.

So she turned around to face it and the gates opened and they charged on.

The Nine Dragons The Dragon Of The Ground Part Fourteen

 The Rock Dragon  Loc and the other two arrived at where the rock dragon lay. It looked at them with glowing amber eyes and had the shape of a turtle that was large. It had a head the shape of a wolf and had a long tail with four rows of spikes shaping an X at the tip. It had a pair of wings tucked away, yet the body had become too large to fly. It may have been able to fly once upon a time, but not now. After years of being glutinous, it had grown too heavy for it’s body. Upon seeing them it charged at them, making it's body sway from side to side rapidly. They all moved out of the way. They ran to opposite corners.  The Army Against The Last  Loc had a light nap before waking up to see the fakegels, a name she had come up with after the fight and handed the second borns over to the rest of the first borns.  Sorrowful Rest Loc spent most of her time between sleep and rest in the underground library, as she tried to stop herself from crying. Looking at the whole place, Loc could not help but feel nostalgic for Billy’s Bookshop.
