The Nine Dragons The Dragon Of Death Part Five

 The Breath Of Death

She ran and ran and ran. She turned a corner to see a giant skeleton. It dived at her but she dived out of the way in the nick of time. She went to set it on fire but it landed a punch on her face. She rolled to the wall and her back slammed against it. She saw it’s foot and threw his hand and fire flashed out of it. Then as it set on fire she saw another one coming at her. She pushed the fire out and threw it at the next one as it ran to her and like a fool it ran into the fire.

She ran on and saw that there was another one coming. She pushed the fire on and it hit and it quickly caught fire. She ran on by it. She soon saw another one. She dragged her hand back and fire came to her. She ran on and the fire followed her hand. Then she threw the fire on and it hit that one.

She then ran on ndand she reached the stairs. She ran up them and spotted one above her and she set fire to it. She soon arrived on the floor above. Ahead of her were more skeleton giants. They all looked directly at her for an awkward moment. She then was one race to her. She dived out of the way as the foot came down upon her. She then dived back and to the left as another foot came down upon her. She dived the other way. She then felt a foot hither shoulder. 

She flew and hit the wall. Shd threw out a ball of fire at the closest skull as she slid down. Then her back hit the floor. She looked up to see that it was on fire.

Good.

She then moved the fire at the skull of the next giant. This one dodged out of the way. She moved the fire after it. She then broke out two and it went to the face and, as it dodged, she hit the other side of the skull. She then felt a foot hit her in the gut. She thrust her hand into the foot which spread quickly. She rolled to the right and threw another ball of fire into the knee of the nearest one. Soon four were on fire. She used the fire to hit the last one.

Soon she was surrounded by fire and ash.

Shs ran on and on and on. Sbd saw four this time. She hit the one to the left before any one of them saw her. She hit one to the far left then the one to the far right. Then she was hit by the nearest right. She hit the wall and she threw a ball of fire at the skull as she fell. They were all ash when she hit the ground.

She ran on and on and on to see that she was on the ground floor. She ran on and on and on to see a set of stairs. She ran on and on, not daring to stop.

So she suddenly arrived at the top. She dived at the frame and looked back to see that there were five ahead of her. All were looking directly at where she was coming from. She looked around to see where they were fully looking at that place. She then looked around for a blind spot and saw it. She dived to the right then threw a ball of fire at the feet. Then she was hit in the back. She flew to the hand of one. He hit her away like batting a ball. Then as she flew, she was hit from behind again. She flew away to hit another. This happened again and again and again. Then they started laughing.

“Oh! Look here! The mighty dragon slayer.”

“Yeah! Not so mighty!”

“Oh! Look, nothing but a ball in our hands!”

Feeling anger rise up, she set her first on fire and then spun and hit the palm. Then she flew back to the next to collide with her. She spun and her fist collided with the palm of that one. As she flew she saw the next hand. Then it dropped and she hit the wall. She threw out her first at both of them.

Then she felt the gravity. She then fell and her arms broke as she landed. She then felt itchy as the bones gathered together and healed. Sbe got up and ran on and on and turned a corner to see that there were another five.

She ran to the left aiming at three in a row, this set only two alight with the third diving back and then running at her and threw a kick at her. She threw a ball of fire at it then as it hit her, it was set alight. She hit the wall. Her arm whipped out and pulled herself up. She looked up and saw the bone and threw a ball of fire to the left and the right. She jumped off the bone and ran on and on and on. 

She turned a corner to see that there were three this time. She quickly hit the far two and then at the one in the centre. She ran on to see the stairs and she ran up as fast as she could.

She then reached the top and looked behind the archway. There, she saw six standing there, looking on.

Quickly, she dived on and pushed the fire at the legs as much and far as possible. Yet this only got one row. Then the other row dived out of the way and at her. With one swipe she flew left and hit the wall. She spun and flew out a stream of fire. This hit one and she threw out another and hit the last. She flung onto the ground and she rolled and rolled and hit her head. All went black.

When she woke up she could smell smoke. When she rose up, she saw that she was surrounded by fire. She jolted up and looked around to see that the fire was black and the smile was just as black and smelt fowl.

Then she remembered the guard that was killed as she saw the giant skeletons engulfed in flames. She ran on and on and saw nothing as she reached the top, knowing that the last were not killed by her.
