The Nine Dragons The Dragon Of Death Part Eight
Burning Of The Last
Loc got up after she had fully and well rested. She walked on feeling both shaky and still finding it unbelievable that she had her behind handed to her, despite winning by the skin of her teeth. She thought about the fact that if she was not immortal then she would have died. She could hear the echo of Lamia cutting her hair. She cringed slightly.
Honestly, they are getting harder to beat. After all, if there are ones this strong, then how strong are the remaining three?
I don’t know, but what I do know is that Aunt Morgan would tell me to train before I face them. But do I have the time?
No.
That was when the room shook. She crouched as she waited for it to stop so she did not fall. She looked around and she looked up to see the giant skeleton of a bat! It looked at her for a moment before it darted at her. She quickly dived out of the way.
What! I thought that they would all be gone once the dragon was dead!
Then the bat dived to her before she could think another thought. She quickly dived out of the way. Then went to throw her hammer down, but she missed. Then she was struck in the shoulder. She pushed through this as she threw the hammer across to the left. Yet this too missed. She threw the hammer to where the leg was going and it flung off. This caused the bat to fall slightly. She struck it as fast as she could and this dragged it down further and she struck it in the centre. She kept it up until she reached the head and smashed the skull.
One down, two to go. She thought as she walked on.
She then walked to a set ofstairs. She walked down them. She saw the arch next to her. There, ahead of her, was a skeleton that looked almost like the size of a really tall man.
She turned to the left and took out her hammers to see that there was a sword in its hand. She put one away and took out Peble. Then dived at it. It drove its sword in to block and the moment that she reached it, it whacked her away from it. She found herself rolling on the ground. She then was able to use the momentum to roll up only to see the skeleton next to her. She was only just able to block another strike, before she was dragged back. She then saw it strike her again and again and again rapidly. This caused her to be dragged further and further back. Yet she knew that she had to be patient as she was dragged further and further back. She had block each strike again and again and again until she reached the wall. She saw the sword coming and she dived out of the way, which caused the blade to hit and become buried in the wall.
She rose up as it tried to dislodge the blade. She then went to whack the skull, but it ducked. The next moment it lowered itself. She looked down to see the foot coming right at her. She whacked down with Stone. Then the hammer struck and the bones hit the ground. Yet it was intact! She then took a closer look to see that there was a slight crack in them. She then drew her hammer up like swinging a block. It moved its jaw up to avoid it. This caused her to thrust the hammer down. This struck. She noticed that it remained intact. She then hit the bones again and again and again as she caused more and more and more small cracks to appear in tbd bones.
Then it dislodged its blade. Then went to strike her. She flung the hammer to the blade. This caused the blade to be swung back. She hit the chestplate again and again and again. Only to see that it was doing nothing. So she went to see the blade in the corner of her eyes. She ducked and drew her hammer up and struck the left rib. This caused the rib bone to crack. She hit it again and again. It ripped the sword out and the rib fell.
This gave her all she needed to know. So she stood erect and hit the next bones again and again and again. She saw the blade and struck the blade away. Then swung it back to the bones. This dragged the skeleton back. She hit the bones again and again and again until the head came off.
She dived at the skull. She drew Pable up and swung it down and, as it reached the head, she struck the weight with her hammer burying it deep into it. She did this again and again and again until it came out of the other end. She saw there was a crack under the blade. She then struck at each and every crack of the skull until it broke and both turned into ash.
She raced down to the bottom of the corridor and down to the bottom of the stairs. Then as she set foot on the ground floor, she saw the last general standing at the archway.
It was her and dived at her. It wrapped its body around her and pulled her in. The next moment she was looking into it’s fiery eyes. She then felt its bones crush her. She could feel them getting tighter and tighter. She could feel her bones starting to get crushed. She then could feel them start to break. She then tried to set the hand on fire. This caused it to let go of her.
She fell and crashed into the ground. She felt her legs and arms flare up, itching all over. She had to push herself on as her eyes spotted the hand. She saw it try to scoop her up and she had to roll out of the way as she heard more and more bones snapping and pain accompanied the itching. She saw it coming again and she rolled over and over and over. Then it marched on. She rolled back as she felt the itching in her arms. She grabbed her hammers.
Once it stopped in her arms she drew her Rock and Stone. She then hit the toe bone. She hit it again and again and again. Then she saw the shadow above her. She dived out of the way and hit the other toe again and again and again until she saw a crack. Then she saw the next shadow. She dived away and returned to the other toe and soon she made a crack. She put away the hammer and dived to the other toe. She pulled out her Peble and thrust the blade into the crack and hit it in further and further. Then she hit the side of the guard, this caused the crack to widen. She then hit the right side of the guard up then fhs left down. Then hammered each side of the crack. Soon the toe was no more. Then she did the same to the next toe and repeated the action.
Then it lost balance and hit the ground. The ground shook causing her to collapse to the ground. She forced herself up and back onto her feet. She ran to the head. She struck it again and again and again and again until she saw the crack. She plunged the blade into it and hit it again and again and again and again.
Once the crack was wide enough she threw a ball of fire at it and pushed the heat on and on and on until she felt the strain. Then the flames turned from amber to blue. She then put it out as she saw that it was doing nothing and hit the black skull until it collapsed. Then it all turned to ash.
She fell, her body shook and she fell. All went black.

She decided to open her eyes after a rush of light rested upon her for a moment but in her exhaustion she closed her eyes and went back to sleep.
