The Nine Dragons The Dragon Of Death Final Part
Life Returns
The first thing that Loc felt waking up was the splash of water. Her eyes opened and was hit by a raindrop. She would have gotten up if her muscles were not so achy. Sosbe just lay there with the rain falling into her body, which she found soothing. She felt like she was in a larger body of water in the middle of a cool day after a hot and violent storm.
Her mind was completely calmed by this. She opened her mouth and let the water fall onto her dry tongue and soon wet her dry mouth. She did not even know that she could feel such peace as she drifted off again only to dream of three dragons now. She still could not make out the size of the last one in the distance. Yet she could tell that it was big. Yet she noticed that the other two were much bigger than the other dragons that she had faced so far.
Then her eyes flicked open. She looked around her to see that she was surrounded by moss. Yet as she looked closer, she could see the tips of grass poking out of the ground.
She got up to look at it with crumbling strength. She coughed and picked one and ate it. She did this again and again and again and again until she was satisfied, yet she did vomit some of it up. She looked around to see that the whole landmass was now covered in greenery.
Soon she came to a building that was near the castle. Soon she came spotted the words in a crumbling and faded state.
The Library
Looks like that is my next stop.
So she walked in and walked up to the door and walked in. She saw most of the books had all been eaten away. She picked up one that was intact and opened it.
It has been the first year since Mort Draco took over and all our royals have
been killed. Only I am the last one. The armies have been wiped out along with
most of our men and boys.
The only people that remain are the women and girls. Yet the only reason I
was spared was because I am an old woman. Yet I can not help but feel that
this is far from over.
Queen’s Mother Yuri Riku
She turned the page.
There are bones attacking our girls. None of them stood a chance.
We tried to get rid of them but nothing worked.
Did you not try fire?
Yet the only thing that seemed to work was fire. That was until the generals
showed up and then Mort Draco after all of that. All of the rest were wiped
out. I am alone, however, it is only a matter of time until it is my turn.
Yuri Riku
She turned the page to a blank page. That was when she heard the chirping of birds outside. She walked outside and as the light hit her eyes she felt a slight ache rise. She had to squint as she shielded her eyes from the sun. She looked up to see the clouds parting to reveal the light of the sun. She felt the gentle heat on her face which had not seen the sun in months. No, all it had seen was darkness and lava. It was at this moment that she realised that it was quite cool compared to that heat.
Then she heard the chirping again as something brown flew past her. She looked at it to see that birds were flying into the land. So she had decided to take a break and enjoy witnessing the process of the grass growing. Yet as she saw it growing, she saw the mud become soft where the grass grew. This was followed by flowers.
As this progressed, she saw several reindeers approaching the land and, out of cautious curiosity, started grasing. They soon found that they liked it. Loc looked at this and smiled as more birds came to this land. She soon saw rabbits hopping as time wore on. She walked around as she did, she saw a large lake. The sun reflected off it like diamonds on the horizon. She saw that the grass had fully grown by this point. Then she soon saw the small trees that had started growing.
Day after day, she soon saw a group of men and women coming from the horizon. As they came closer and closer, she recognized them to be the ones that left the ones that were evacuated from the land of the fire dragon.
“Oh! Pendragon above! Not you!”
She smiled and shrugged.
“You took another dragon down, didn’t you?”
Sbe let out a chuckle.
“Not another one!”
“Afraid so!”
“Oh! Get out of here, you insane and foolish woman!”
“I will do. Once I help settle here.”
“Alright! But if you take down one more-”
“I will! However, I will do all to win!”
“Oh no!”
So she spent the rest of the time helping build their new homes. While she did, she read all the books and an elder of the group helped her restore all of the damaged books. Once that was all done, they gave her some of the food they had grown.
“And you didn’t get it from us!”
She chuckled as she found the portal pool and moved on…
