The Nine Dragons The Dragon Of Death Part Three
Hunger
When Loc woke up, she looked at her supplies. She noticed that all her food had gone!
Now what?
On. The sooner that I get this over with the sooner I will get some food. She thought, getting up onto her feet. Despite her aching muscles and heart, she walked on. She could see that she was going to have to put up with this until the dragon is dead. So she walked on and on and on. She did it until she had to take a break to give her body a rest. She felt her stomach worsen. Yet she got up and she kept walking even though she felt herself distracted by her rumbling stomach. Yet she forced herself on and on.
She then spotted a skeleton coming at her. She ran to it, only to see a sword in it’s hand. He swung away as she drew hers. Their blades met. Then she went to set a fire to the skull but it dived back. Then it charged at her to the side. It swung to the left then the right. She met the blade every time. Then it started to get faster and faster. This caused her mind to become alert. She too had to get faster and faster and faster. Then she thrust out a kick in the spine.
It flew and she charged at it. She reached it and it thrust it’s blade up. She dived back but the tip still scraped the top of her abdomen. She flipped her foot out and it collided with the chest plate. With another foot she stomped on the head and this caused the skull to fly off. Then she summoned a ball of fire and hit the collar bone. This soon set it alight and she landed, feeling even more hungry than she did before.
She had to lie there as her stomach rumbled. Shegot up once she was well rested. She traveled on and on and on. Her hunger increased and her mind became foggy. Yet she forced herself on and on and on. Soon the hunger became worse and worse. She tried to ignore it as much as she could. She heard the rumbling getting louder and louder. Soon it started to become painful. Soon she felt sleepy and the only thing that kept her awake was the pain in her stomach. A pain that she could not alleviate. No, the only thing that could was killing the dragon.
She could feel herself starting to lose her energy and she felt more and more tired. She started to see double and her vision became blurry. She tripped and she hit her head. She felt pain pierce her skull and brain. She felt blood flow and her eyes closed.
When she woke up, she felt the hunger becoming very painful at this point. She felt extremely cold and weak. Her hand trembled as she tried to push herself off the rock before any more blood. She hit the back of her head again.
“Aw!”
She pushed herself up and onto her feet. She shook as she walked on and on and on. The hunger and pain builtand built. Sbd felt herself become colder and colder and colder. She became weaker and weaker and weaker. She felt herself shaking more and more and more. Soo. She felt herself sweating, making her colder and colder. Soon her clothes were drenched in sweat. She then fell down again.
She tried to get up but she could not as her legs were shaking too much. Yet she tried to get up but her weakened legs could not bear the weight. She fell back down. She tried to do this again and again and again and again. She fell every single time. She did this until it became clear that she could not get up.
Her eyes closed, as she hoped that her slumber would ease her hunger.

Later while she was completely unconscious a large skeleton approached her. It was the size of a large house. He picked her up and knew that this was the woman that had been slaying the dragons that had been ruling over the planet for a millennium. He suspected that she would find it almost impossible to kill his master. Just like all of the other candidates that have tried and failed. Soon she too would know that very same failure…
