The Nine Dragons The Serpent Dragon Part One
The Village Attack
Loc landed in a pile of barrels. She looked down to see fruit and vegetables that were all crushed. Beyond that was gravel and cobbles. She looked aside to see a couple of potato sacks. Her mind was slow as her body finished healing from her battle with Wolf Raven. Yet she felt all of her energy returned to her.
Then she heard screaming around her, which woke her up. She felt her last remaining adrenaline rise rapidly. She looked around, fearing that it was she that they were screaming at. Yet she knew better than to think that. After all, why would they scream at her?
She immediately noticed that it was night. Then she saw a group of humanoid creatures. They had scales and claws with the head of a snake which was long as a head. With the width of a well built leg. They were dressed from head to toe in green armour with long and long and thick curved swords in their hands.
They let out a hiss as humans ran away from them as fast as they could. They all screamed and some grabbed their children as they ran. Yet as they ran, the slower ones were either stabbed in their hearts, slashed their necks, bit their heads off and swallowed the whole body whole. Using their claws to tear their bodies apart!
What in the Demon Realm is going on? Does it matter? This definitely can not be my world!
Then she was spied by one of them. It then dived at her. She looked around for her sword but noticed that it must have been left in the world that she left. Quickly she grabbed a potato and threw it at him. He caught it in his mouth. She flipped onto her feet as she hit it in the throat. She punched it with a felt hook which was followed by a right. She did this again and again and again, not giving the snake creature a chance to get anything in. Then it dropped it’s sword.
She dropped and picked it up before it could recover and lobbed it’s head off.
She looked around to see another diving at her. She blocked it’s sword as soon as it came into view. She took a step back as she blocked again and again and again. As it struck to the left then to the right, then to the right, then left again and, again, to right. Then left, right, left. Then her back hit the wall. She ducked and thrust her blade up, stabbing it in the head. It fell to the side.
Only for another one to rush in at her with a strike. She slashed down causing sparks to fly as the blades slammed into each other and skimmed down. She, wanting to know if this would cause her fire power to be able to be used, used her fire power to push forward and the sparks combusted in front of them! It dived back and she ran on. She took out her last remaining firecrys. She pushed her heat into it and threw it at it’s eyes. She ran on and stabbed it in the eye.
Then she could feel her energy being pushed to its absolute limit as she pushed on. Striking another and another and another before any had time to think. Then she was struck in the back. She turned around and drove out her sword and struck that one.
She ran on and cut the head off one and another and another and another. She was running alone on her survival adrenaline and she knew it. Nothing else was keeping her going. Yet energy levels were dropping as she struck one after the other. She did not know how long she could hold on and go on, nor did she want to.
Then she felt a pair of claws strike her at her stomach. Then another slashed across the left side of her face. One not into her side. She drove her sword down into the head of the snake creature. As it fell it took out several chunks of her side. Then she sliced at the one that was clawing away at her other side. She then felt another claw in the back and she turned and, just as she stabbed that one, one slashed into her arm.
She almost just slammed her blade into that one when one hit her in the leg. She fell back down to the ground. Then she felt one clamp down on her head. She sliced the head off that one and ripped the head off her body. Then as she fell down she slashed at several of them before she collapsed onto the ground, taking out several of them.
She felt her eyelids dropping as she felt the exhaustion becoming overwhelming as she slashed one after the other. Then her blade stumbled at one of their throats like a drunk. As she pushed on and on and on, she could feel her eyelids drop again and again and again. She staggered on and on, cutting off one head after the other, desperately trying to keep herself awake. Taking out seven and when she finally took out the last she could feel her body become cold as it shook. She fell and was caught by an old man.
“Are you alright?”
“Tired.” She replied as she looked around for more before all went black.
