It had been barely a day since they had taken in Corah Chorak and Bash could not help but think about what he had said to her about her and Strena. She had a deep frown in the centre of her forehead as she looked at the sand and the horizon. She could still feel the heat of the sun beating down upon her. She felt a coat of sweat all around her, with the potion protecting her skin, she knew that she did not need to care.

“What are you thinking about?” Purred the oily voice of Cerpheres.

She gasped and was about to punch him but resisted it. She looked back ahead.

“Nothing much.”

He smiled as he came close to her.

“Doesn’t look like it! Come on! Tell me!”

“No.”

“Ohh! Why not?”

“Don’t want to give you any ideas.”

His eyes lit up slightly.

“What like the idea of a fire tornado?” He purred as his face had already become red. “Which, I have to say, that was good. That was very good. It really was such a t-”

She punched him, then he looked at her like she was an adorable little animal.

“Now you’ve done it!” He growled, licking his lips.

He just came to her. She ducked and drove her palm into his stomach, only for him to hit her temple. She flung into the sand. Dived upon her and she flung the side of her ankle into his jaw and twisted it, causing her feet to collide with his temple. Then dragged it back then thrust herself up and thrust her forehead with his nose.

He let out a noise that she did not like as he pulled himself up and thrust his fist into her face and this was followed with a jab by a kereté chop to her temple. She thrust out her hand and cartwheeled to her feet. He drew his hand back and thrust his fingertips into her throat. This caused her to cough then she felt a fist in her stomach immediately after. She fell to the ground and spat out some saliva.

She looked up to see a ball of water coming at her. She rolled out of the way. He did this again and again and again, laughing as she rolled out of the way. She frowned as she was hit. Ice flooded her senses and her face, hair and shoulders were drenched. Then she felt more and more and more in rapid succession. Soon her upped half was drenched in ice cold water.

“Tell me, why aren’t you trying to get out of this? Come, show me that great beauty of Bash The Touchable.”

I am! She thought as she rolled forward and he fell and she rolled up and she pointed to the ground.

“Forgot about that, didn’t you?”

His smile widened.

“Did I?”

She saw the ball of water in his hand. She threw a ball of fire at it, causing water to spray all over his face. Then he let out a chuckle as she summoned a ball of water of her own, yet it was a boiling one and she hit him.

He then dived out of the way and dived at her and suddenly she could not breathe. This was followed by a fist to her leg Somehow the power of a sledgehammer. She quickly collided with the sand and things were going black until her wounds were healed and the next thing she was feeling was him tickling the back of her neck. This made her laugh until she slapped his hand away.

“Got it out of your system?”

“Uh hur!”

“How did you make that punch so strong?”

He smiled like a child and raised his fist up and placed a hand on the upper half of his arm.

“I used my magic!” He sang.

“Hold on, magic can do that?”

“Yes.”

She looked up as the rest ran up to them.

“We need to leave.”

“What happened?”

“They’re on the move.”

She nodded and they walked through the night, taking turns to carry Strena.

“So why now?”

“I have a lead. Our dear Dark Lord and Dark Lady tipped my dear little sister where we are.”

She nodded.

“How long will it be until she’s here?”

“A good week or so. Although, probably more.”

“Why is that?”

“There are plenty of pirates on the ocean these days. So either way we need to move. Also, this tells me one thing.”

“What?”

“A new Age Of Legends is upon us.”

“Umm…how come?” Moaned Strena sleepily.

“A new Age Of Legends always coincides with an increase of piracy.”

“Sooo, the Sixth Age…interesting!”
