The Nine Dragons The Life Dragon Final Part

 A True Paradise

When Loc woke, she looked all around to see that all of the survivors were breaking the trees apart. She slowly rolled onto her stomach and pushed herself off the ground. Only for her to fall back down. She noticed that she was weak and needed a proper rest but she forced herself to push on and drove her body back up again. She knelt forward this time and forced herself on her feet.

She walked to them, her body swaying like a snake or fish. Yet she kept her eyes on the people. Then she looked at the trees.

“Are you alright?”

“Should you be on your feet right now?”

“Doesn’t matter.” She said, still looking at the trunks.

If only I had Rock and Stone. I would be able to smash through this very easily…She thought to herself. Yet she looked at herself and them and suddenly wasn’t so sure.

“Look around to find something that may help.” She suggested.

They all looked at her with a frown. Then they looked at each other and shrugged.

“Can’t hurt to help.”

“Why would there be anything like that here?”

“Well, do you think this palace was built for Paradtopia?”

They all looked at each other.

“Well, based on the stairs, no.”

“But our history books said that it was!”

“Who’s to say that those history books were telling the truth?”

He frowned for a moment.

“Oh, yeah!”

So they all split up and looked in all the rooms. However when she came to a treasure room, she saw none other than Rock and Stone at the top of a pile of gold coins, pearls and other light gemstones. She could tell by the shape of the pile that this was where she slept. Which told her that hat she had expected her and was preparing for her but not for the army, it seemed.

So she marched up to the top and looked down at them. She just realized just how little she had used them. Yet she knew that she did not have time to focus upon that, so she picked them up and jumped back down. She walked to them and hit the trunks again and again and again. Once they were all taken care of the men gathered the bodies. Loc and the rest of the women gathered all of the broken wood and set fire to them all. All stood there in silence as all the dead burned.

She looked to the side. She could not get it all out of her head. Yet she could not help but find herself thinking about the last two dragons. As she did she just could not get this sense of dread out of her mind. Yet she knew that she had to stop herself from focusing upon it.

Yet the following day, they all rested as they all recovered their strength and the day after that Loc did all that she could to help rebuild. However she spent the following day after that she found herself in the library and saw a book.

It has been a year since the gods and goddess of the Muniverse created the dragons

to punish us all for not bowing to them and remaining true to the One Who Is

 Father Of All.

At this, she frowned.

Yet He has spoken of our fall and the one sent to bring them all down. She of the wounded

soul. She of one and a third.

At this she widened her eyes.

“What!”

That’s me! How-how is this possible? How did this Father Of All know that?

Yet it was the last moment that shook her.

She who is on her true path as she takes her long journey home.

She looked aside as she took a moment to let that sink in. Yet she had to spend all the rest of the time there reading more and more of the books. After a fortnight, she then left along with half the men of the army to head off to fight the penultimate dragon; Prince Dracula…
