The Nine Dragons The Life Dragon Part Nineteen

 Victory Of The People

It was in the afternoon when they all knew that the last division of the last army of Paradtopia. Loc was well rested and was about to collect her things to fight when the leader of the city came up to her. He had a stern but compassionate look in his eyes.

“I ask you not to fight. For I would like for you to observe the battle ahead.”

“Why?” She scoffed as she got up in a huff. He, patiently, raised his hand to her.

“Simple this is our world, our land and we need to fight for ourselves.”

She frowned deeply.

“What? That’s the reason? I will fight! After all, until I find a piece of one of the Reality Spheres, this will be my world, just as much as it is yours!”

He grabbed her by the cuff of her shirt.

“No. If you want to help, keep the fire down! And once you witness all that happens during the fight, then you will understand, alright?”

She looked to the side.

“Alright, but the moment that someone dies, I’m stepping in. Alright?”

“Deal.”

So they all went out, Loc still feeling the strop.

She looked up as the dots came closer and closer to the city.

Then the cannonballs came and fired at the front group of the vampire fairies. They did this again and again and again.

That was when they divided into three groups in three levels. They all fired at the lower and middle with the upper being missed. They were able to get further and sent down arrows of fire. She reached out to stop them until the leader gave her a glare. She stopped. They all fell and all of the men were able to dodge, but at the expense of the cannons. Soon the fire erupted from them all.

Soon the people were pulling out arrows and fired at the ones getting closer and closer to them. They all looked at them and all carried fear in their eyes. Some were shaking as they fired arrow after arrow. Some missed some hit and some scrapped.

This was when she understood why she had to leave herself out of the battle. Even though she did not like it. She looked down for a moment and then back up as she kept watching the battle.

She saw a group arrive and took a man. He thrust his kitchen knife into one and then one came to him immediately after. He threw the knife at it only for it to hit the arm. Yet he still ran on and took out a fork and shoved it into the throat. Then he saw another grab him. He then pulled out a knife and stabbed the eye. He was hit by an arrow.

She knew that she should have stepped in but she was just stunned by his bravery that she missed the mark. This caused an arrow to hit her and her breast was shot! She looked down to see it in her lower left lung just under the heart. She bit her lip as she had to pull it out. She looked up to see another arrow coming for her right lung.

She dived to the left and spat out blood as blood poured out of her healing wound. She looked up as more men raced to the vampire fairies and stabbed them with forks. That was when more came towards her. More men raced to the left and stabbed them with knives and forks. Meanwhile the women threw oil at the ones to the right and threw torches at them. This set them all on fire. Only for them to be hit by arrows.

That was when she looked to the right to see one above her was about to fire at her. Sbd rolled out of the way as she saw a fire hit that one. She rolled on and on and on and she found that her breath returned to her. She got up to see more and more of the vampire fairies were falling like fiery flies. Soon they were all gone.

“Wow!”

“Now do you understand?”

She nodded.

“They needed to do it themselves.”
