The Nine Dragons The Life Dragon Part Fifteen
The Life Dragon City
They approached high light cream walls. She looked at the large silver gates with a dragon rampant in a shield on each gate.
That’s going to be a challenge to get past. She thought as she looked back.
They looked at her, already knowing that they all needed to circle it. So they slowly circled around it. Yet they all noticed that there was an entrance at the back. They soon walked on. Once they were in the city she noticed that there was a domed palace in the far distance at the corner to the left. In the meantime the whole city was all an uneven hilly terrain. It was covered by pearl white cobbles and even the houses, huts and shops all looked like they were made of pearls. Yet all the windows had flint in the shape of a dragon at the top in a ring of light and lapis lazuli that looked like blue wood going around that. Yet they looked around in awe at the beauty. She then noticed that none had proper roofs.
She looked at one of her men.
“We don’t need to put up roofs. As you can tell it is hotter than most places here so we don’t need that.”
She looked around and noticed it. Yet she also noticed that it was nothing like the intense heat of Infirnus’s domane. It had moisture and was almost gentle.
“Oh.”
She then walked on and soon noticed that there were people looking at her with dirty looks. Yet as she looked around, she looked at them. Every now and again, she noticed the group. Yet as she walked on and on, she noticed that it was just her they were giving her greater dirty looks.
This is going to be a problem. She thought.
Yet, knowing that it was going to be inevitable, she still walked up to a woman.
“Urm…do you know where the library is?”
She curled her lip as she pointed to a large purple building that looked like a temple.
“Thank-”
That was when she felt the puddle of spit on her forehead. She let out a huff as she wiped it off with the cuff of her sleeve. So she walked to the library, not wanting to let her anger get the better of her. She quietly took the nearest history book and looked at it.
Paradtopia came to this land thousands of years ago. She showed us how to live
successfully. By her tallon our world was shaped. She was able to become the
architect of all our homes and lives. As long as we follow her, we will have her
life and all we needed is her air.
I thought this was a history book not a cult’s book.
“What is it?”
“According to this, the people here believe that Paradtopia is some goddess. And that-”
“Lies!” Laughed a librarian.
She looked up to see a man with chalk blue eyes and dark green hair.
“What?”
“Nothing!”
“You have proof, don’t you?” A man said.
“Not at all.”
“Shame. I think that we need it.”
“To do what?”
“Break the brainwashing.”
“Oh. Is that what you wanted?”
“Yes. Do you want to help?”
“Sure, but-”
“‘We didn’t get it from you’?”
“Exactly!”
