Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part Three

Dead End They came to a corridor of rosebushes. Bash attached an arrow to her ankle vertically to help mark where they had been. This way, if they came to a dead end, they would be able to retract their steps and go another way. They then came to a crossroads. “Which way?” “Well, not on. After all, that would be far too obvious.” “So that should be where we go.” Strena said, pointing to the right. “No. I think we should go left.” “Why?” Strena looked at Zaryb. “She favours the left. Even though she is right handed.” Cerpheres draped his arm around his shoulder. “And you know that because?” His face became blue as his cheeks became red. Yet his face looked like he was about to throw up. “Don’t ask.” Then Wolfox appeared in his face. “Well, it turns out Grasharlo has certain..” His eyes slid to Strena and back to him then he looked back at Chashathrophogh. “ Needs and Zaryb just so happens to be her type and she would never let him refuse her. I just loved hearing him cry every mo...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part Two

The New Labyrinth  “Well, this is a turn!” “Shut it!” “When did this get here? I don’t remember this being here on the way here or on the maps.” “I know!” Cerpheres sighed as he leaned in close to his ear. “Wanna check it out?” “Urm, get away from me!” He pouted and shrugged. “Well are you?” “No time. We have to make a way around this labyrinth.” Chashathrophogh explained as he walked to the side. “But it could be fun!” “I don’t care!” “Spoil sport!” He moaned. He rolled his eyes and they walked to the furthest corner of the labyrinth only to be pulled back by Cerpheres. “Cer-” He pointed down and he looked down to see a line of dead mice, rats and cattle of all kinds on the other end. Strena was about to walk on and Chashathrophogh grabbed her by the back and pulled her away. She let out a gasp as she saw all the dead animals. “Not that way.” “Why?” “This is Grasharlo’s spell. One of her signature spells whenever she wants to trap someone.” “W-what?” “What does this mean?” C...

Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part One

Journey To The Field The group was traveling, Bash took a glance at Strena. She was still pale and probably still weak too, yet she was stronger. She could tell that she was scared too. She took glances at Chashathrophogh and Cerpheres, almost as if she was on the verge of panicking. Bash wondered why, for a moment, then she remembered that she was a Dark Lady and how she looked at Chashathrophogh, almost as if he was going to kill her on the spot. This girl must have been born out of weddlock! Now, if that’s the case, would he kill her? She could not quite place why, as there was too much evidence on the contrary, she did not think so. “So, where are we heading?” Bash asked. “To find Gajellidor. The spell that we cast is telling us that he is currently still heading to the Desert Planes.”  “Then why did we not take a ship back in Roqaur?” “The geography of the sea and the position of Roqaur would not permit that. After all, the seas would be much too narrow or shallow or roc...

Strena Acceptance Final Part

Daughter Of A Tyrant  Strena woke up early to the scent of blood. She looked down to see Cerpheres, chopping up a rabbit. She rose to her feet, the events of the night were still fresh in her mind. “What are you doing?” She asked in a dry voice as she walked over to him, the tips of her fingers rested on her blades. “Cooking breakfast!”  “Can I help?” He smiled. “You’re feeling brave!” “Nothing to fear.” He chuckled as he smiled to himself. “Sure. You can help.” He sang as he handed her a group of vegetables. “Cut those up will you?” She took out a knife and started chopping. “Try getting them smaller dear.” She nodded as she did. He then returned to chopping the rabbit. “Mr Cerpheres, could you tell me more about him?” “Who dear?” “My father, Emperor Nazon Zuvé.” He let out a high pitched sigh. She jumped slightly. “Well, I heard he was a great man!” “He was evil.” “Greatness has nothing to do with morality.” “Oh.” “Well, he was known to be a great warlord. In fact, he ...

Strena Acceptance Part Four

A Bid For Revenge  Syrena looked down as she stared at her reward. She put the coins away as she just could not get all that she heard out of her head. She remembered all the times that she killed and tortured. Her eyes slid to her hands, knowing that they were red with blood. She remembered all that dress Dark Lady Grasharlo brought out of her. She remembered all the torture that she had put her uncle through. She remembered how she killed Grasharlo before she came back. She then remembered how she liked the dark joy that she had while she tortured him. Then her mind flooded with all she had learnt and heard about her father. It seemed the more she heard the more evil he seemed. She did not like it but the more she heard and saw the more it became difficult to deny it. Yet she did not want to admit it either. Yet she felt scared. Scared that she would end up like that. Scared that the moment that she took the throne that she took would become a tyrant. That sje too would see...

Strena Acceptance Part Three

A Truth That Scars They soon came to a town. Strena and Bash looked at the local bounty hunters tavern. “Do we have enough to get to the Desert Planes?” She asked. “So the little princess can speak on her own!” “Shut up!” “Well, do we?” Strena asked, keeping on track. “No. We probably need at least four emeralds and rubies.” Chashathrophogh admitted. “Then I’ll get a bounty and we’ll split the royalties.” “Good thinking Arielsa!” “Strena.” Zaryb and Strena corrected. “Right.” “Also, Bash, go with her. That way she would pick a good job that she can do.” “But don’t underestimate her.” Bash nodded as the girls walked in. She looked at the board. Strena soon picked one and showed it to Bash and she looked down. Herra Of Hogworth 100 Emeralds & 7 Rubies Herra of Hogworth has taken over Herraldt three days ago. Despite our best efforts we could not take him down. So please, free us! Issued 7th Friday Dec 514 Years After The 5th Age Of Legends  “That was the beginning of last m...

Strena Acceptance Part Two

A Secret That Must Be Kept Strena woke from a nightmare the first thing her eyes dropped to was the cuff before putting her diary away. She then looked up to Chashathrophogh, hoping that he did not read it. She knew that the moment that he found out what she was she would be dead. She looked to the side to her Uncle Zaryb. She hoped that he would keep quiet yet, as she did not know Wolfox, she could not be quite certain he would.  They soon woke up and Cerpheres gave her a delicious stew. In fact she had never tasted a stew so good. They all ate slowly before they marched on. As they did, Strena walked closer to Zaryb than the rest. Yet Cerpheres walked up to her and put an arm around her, making her jump slightly. “Are you alright little beauty?” “Urm…yeah. Why?” “It’s just you seem to have a lot on your plate. Wanna share?” He purred. “No.” “Come on! Are you really going to say that in that way?” Yes. “You need to look stronger than that!” “And if I did want to share, you’l...

Strena Acceptance Part One

A Cuff That Binds 1st Monday Jule  515 years after the 5th Age Of Legends Me and Master Zaryb arrived at Roqaur on Saturday safely. Yet we met up with Touchable Bash who is also the Exile Princess Drew Of Beforebow, daughter of Queen Shedrey and her husband that was assassinated over five months ago along with her baby brother. Also and none other than Chashathrophogh the Bastard Killer and older Bastard brother of Queen Shedrey which makes him Bash’s uncle. As it turns out Master Zaryb are not only friends, it seems that they are best friends. Which I found unexpected as I did not expect him to have friends. Also we wet a creepy man called Cerpheres, which keeps looking at me in a way that is uncomfortable to me. Almost like prey in front of a predator. However I know better than to allow myself to show my vulnerability. Master Zaryb has trained me better than that. Yet I can sense, despite this, he seems to be a fun guy to be around. We went to a pub there where I found out...

Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Final Part

Lie Despite having the piece of the Reality Sphere, they stayed there for three whole weeks as they recovered. This gave Doormaze plenty of time to think as she found herself in the castle library, reading book after book. She absorbed all that she could there as she knew that she could not stay anywhere near Coalmine or Burn as she knew that the decision to be made had to be hers and hers alone. She wondered what to do about Coalmine as she did. At first, she could not think past her rage at what she had done while they were traveling together. But, as she became desensitized to it, she seemed to start to think calmly. It was strange to her the moment that she did have the first clear thought. However, part of her still felt that anger and the calm and anger flickered like the flame of a candle. This happened through the second week. Then in the third week it was put out and she was able to meditate on the decision completely calm and completely clear. There was no anger in th...

Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Part Eight

The Final Round  Ahead of him was Doormaze Drage. Just make him tired. Then you can beat him. “Now the third has returned.” Quickly she threw water at him. He stopped it. She threw some misshapen water balls at him in rapid succession. She ran on and on as he blocked each and every one of them. Then she fired more and more water balls at him as she ran and ran. He blocked each and every one of them.  Then she noticed the weapons on the floor and in the walls. She dived to one wall, plucked one and threw it at him. She did this again and again and again. He stopped each and every one of them. She dived to the next wall and threw the weapons at him again and again and again before diving to the next wall as he stopped those weapons. Then he did this to the last wall and he stopped those. Then, her gut told her to stay. She looked up as the weapons rose and they fired at her. She dodged behind the remnants of one of the pillars. That was when she saw the blades and spiked b...

Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Part Seven

Burn’s Round  That was when Burn walked in. She took a glance at Coalmine and picked her up. She quickly raced to Doormaze before Dartru could do anything. Then Doormaze took her and nodded before running back to Mayer Millrose to heal her. Meanwhile Burn turned back and ran in for her bash. She breathed in and out. At first, she felt ready, but as she thought about Coalmine and the state she was in she felt dread start to sink in. She forced herself to continue to breathe in and out and keeping as calm as possible. Will I end up like that? If so how bad will it be?  Clam down Burn. Will I even make it out? Calm down Burn, if you can sense that you need to bale, then bale. But what if I can’t? What if he won’t let me? She took a deep breath in and released it slowly as her eyes rested upon him. Well it’s too late now. She forced her will on a shield on the wall. Then she caused it to fly towards him. He then dropped it. She did this again and again and again and he drop...

Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Part Six

Coalmine’s Round “So, what do we do?” Asked Burn. “I will go first. You, go second and you will go last.” Coalmine narrowed her eyes. “Why?” “Simple. He can’t fight forever and you’re the strongest.” Burn looked down and nodded. “But wouldn’t it best for Coalmine to go first?” Doormaze looked down for a moment. Then she thought about it for a moment. “Oh yeah!” “So?” “Coalmine, you go first, Burn, you go next. Then I will go last. Make sure that you all last as long as possible.” “Right.” “When do we do this?” “This afternoon.” “Why?” “So that we are at our best.” The rest nodded. Yet Doormaze could not help but look at Coalmine. “And, again, we will address everything once we have finished off this guy.” She became pale and nodded. Then after that they went onto quickly train and after, at lunch, rested. After a good meal Coalmine, Burn and Doormaze set off. They stayed at the front of the castle. “You healed well.” “Part of the dragon side.” She spoke as she walked in. She soon s...

Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Part Five

Consequences “So, you failed too?” Coalmine looked down and nodded. He lip curled as she looked away both out of shame and anger. After all, he had let her go. He had let her live. She could not look up, she did not trust herself to look up at her. “You too?” Doormaze nodded. “Why did you go in the first place?” Coalmine narrowed as she felt her body curl up and she felt the pain in her wing. Say it. Just say it. No! She would never understand it. Why not? Just say it. If she still does not understand, then that will be her problem, not mine! No. Give her a chance. No! She needs to know. No! “I don’t want to say.” At this, Doormaze yanked her by the scruff of her neck and headbutted her. “You better! After all, if we’re going to continue I’m gonna have to know who’s side you’re on! Have you got that, dear sister ?” “Why? Because you’re so special? Give me a break!” She snapped rolling her eyes as she thought of Rosy. “Why should I? After all, I didn’t ask for this! I didn’t ask f...

Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Part Four

Regrouping  Coalmine could feel her heart in her ears. She had done it now. She knew that if she did not do something then she would be in trouble with the dragons and she would never be accepted in their ranks. Nor would they give her any respect whatsoever. She knew that if she did not, at least, prove herself useless then they would eat her. She also knew that they would not eat her whole. No, they would eat her alone and alive. She felt ill as she remembered Rosy, her childhood and only friend. She had platinum blond hair and ice grey eyes and a bright smile despite the fact that they were in a hellish situation. She thought back on the day that she got the job and it was also the day that she lost her. “Coalmine, Rosy, Master Dark Destiny has requested your presence.” Jim, a guy with a crop of brown hair and eyes, said. He was another human slave. There were one hundred in total. She knew that once the true dragon king had taken power they all would have been freed. Then...

Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Part Three

Defeat The castle was tall and thin. It had two towers which were also tall and thin. The bricks were uneven and grey and the windows were tall and so thin that light could hardly get in. They walked to the tall and narrow double doors. They were dark brown and so narrow that they might as well have been a single door. They opened and they walked in. Ahead of them was a tall and thin man. He had pale skin and black eyes with dark curly hair with a mischievous smirk. “About time you arrived.” He spoke with a calm low pitched voice. “Why did you do this?” He let out a low pitched laugh. “Because it is hilarious! Do you know how it is? To see people being torn apart by the simple truth!” He laughed. At this, Doormaze narrowed her eyes as she thought of that woman. A good woman that had been driven into isolation by all of this. “Do you know what you have done?” “Hurt my dear stupid little sister and her mayorship.” “Why?” “I love tormenting her. It is always so hilarious to see her f...

Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Part Two

Separation  Doormaze Drage took her twin by the collar and pulled her in and tried her best to keep herself calm. “Are you saying that you have been telling me that those dragons, that have our father, older sister and Kai, let you go?” “Yes.” “What for?” “To spy on you.” She said as she grabbed her by the wrist. “Why?” “So that I can become a dragon!” At this Doormaze’s jaw dropped as her eyes widened. Then she frowned and narrowed her eyes in confusion. “What? Y-you want to become one of them? You actually want to become one of them?” “Yes.” “Why?” “If I said, would you understand? Would you want to understand?” At this Doormaze punched her before she could even stop her. She collided with the ground. Doormaze climbed on top of her and punched her again and again and again. Then he pulled her up. “Make me understand!” She just looked to the side. There was clear anger in her eyes as her eyes started to water up. This caused Doormaze to roll her eyes. “ You have to the cou...

Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Part One

Truth Doormaze Drage was the first to wake. She was glad that she was in a place where she could see the sun. The next thing that she was glad to feel was the cold air and then she heard the sound of people nearby. She could even tell that there were many. She slowly sat up, knowing that getting up too soon would not be a good idea. She looked around to see that she and her friends were in the middle of a cobbled road, where there were people going to and fro. Quickly she pulled Burn and Coalmine out of the way and at the corner of a house on the other side of the road. “Aw!” Groaned Burn as she woke, nursing her hurt behind. “Are you alright?”  “No! My stomach and butt hurts and I’ve got a pain in my chest that won’t go away!” She rambled. This some her up completely as she felt a ripple run throughout her body as she gasped and covered her mouth. “I didn’t mean to say that!” At this they frowned. “Are you alright Doormaze?” “No.” “Why not?” “I want to go home. Yet I can’t b...

The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Final Part

Dragon Bone Island Pendragon was already dead before he crashed into the deep. His head was fully on fire and his brain was ash. Yet his body was not fully covered by water as it was the size of a continent. This caused the water to spread out leading to tsunamis throughout the nearest lands. This caused the shorelines to be permanently changed and the towns and villages to be devastated.  The waves fell back upon the dragon corpse. Soon the blood spread throughout the ocean and seabed. This attracted the sharks nearby. Which ate away at the wings and the sections of the body that lay beneath the waves.  Yet the rest remained above the water. This attracted the birds of the air, which ate away at the belly and the flesh in the talons. This attracted more and more types of marine and flying animals that continued to eat away at more and more of the dragon. Yet, as time wore on, the remains swelled up and discoloured. This sent a foul stench throughout the lands that the w...

The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Twenty-Nine

The Fall Of The Dragon King  The first thing she did was slide down to the head to get to the left eye. There she stopped at the eyelid. She tried not to pay attention to the storm clouds below them as she caught a glimpse of the volcanos where she fought the fire dragon poke out like a spider’s bite. She knew that she did not want to fall here. Yet this meant that she could not afford to drop for one moment.  She had to ignore the itching in her back. However she could feel her body shaking uncontrollably. She started to breathe in and out rapidly. Her stomach churned painfully. She was suddenly afraid that she was going to throw up and lose her grip and fall. She bit her lip as she could feel ice in her racing heart. Yet she had to look down at the eye for a moment. Then she saw the dragon palm coming at her. She quickly dived down and in as the eye closed. Darkness eclipsed her as she was smashed between the inner eyelid and the eyeball, but she knew that she could no...

The Nine Dragons The Dragon King Part Twenty-Eight

The Battle In The Sky The first thing that Loc did was send a blast of fire at the gap between the talons and knuckle. She then spread it out and kept it up until the one talon in her side fell. She immediately slid out of the other talon and fell. She reached out her hand and pulled herself on top of the talon. She then looked up at where the head was. Only to see it staring at her. She had milliseconds to stop the fire. Then he coughed and coughed and coughed before the fire came out. At this, she let out a breath of relief as she climbed on and on and on daring not to look down. She knew that the moment that she did, the battle would be over. So she charged on and on and on and dived onto the knuckles then on to the upper wrist. She could feel her body was as cold as ice and she felt like there were invisible claws scratching at her chest. Yet she pushed herself on and on and on.  Then she saw the wounds of the battlefield so she drove the fire into them all. Then Pendrago...
