The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Thirteen

The Journey To The Castle  They all looked ahead to the map. She noticed that, even though they all had made it this far, the castle was still not to be seen! This mildly annoyed Loc, yet she saw a note on the back. Look three bricks out from the entrance. Right . She thought as she looked back to see the bricks. She looked at all the bricks that fit that description. Then when she came to the one in the centre of the height of the door, she saw it. The loose brick and she has the ability to remove it. There she saw another map. She quickly noticed that the map led directly to the castle and there was nothing else and gave little description. “What is it?” “A map to the castle, here.” The men looked at it and raised their eyebrows. “It seems nearly empty.” “I know.” “And?” “I think we need to take a break.” So they quickly did. After an hour they all set off. Loc then, knowing that she could put it off no longer, walked to one of the nearest men. “So, what are you here?” She ...

The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Twelve

Army Verses Army They made their way to the upper chambers to see that there were doors ahead. All could hear a great many voices ahead of them. Then the door opened to see that ahead of them was an army on a wide field. They all looked like a purple brake with wings. All had blades in their hands with a look of being caught with their pants down.  Yet so did they. The first thing that they did was charge at them. The first two blocked and the ones behind stabbed them. Loc pulled out Stone and hit. The one she hit let out an alien-like cry at it went in for the kill. She dived out of the way. Then flicked the blade above her head. Then she spotted the ones at the sides rushing out and hissing being killed. That was when she spotted the men were about to rush out. “Stop!” She shouted. “Let them come to us !” That was when they stopped and took a step back and they all waited for them and when they arrived the men stabbed their stomachs. She then spotted the rest on her side a...

The Army Underground  The first thing that they all did was look at each other and took their weapons. The next that they did was block the blades coming at them. They noticed that they were able to do this faster than before. Their attackers put pressure on the blades. This caused them to meet their pressure. Then their attackers waved their blades from left to right. This caused them to do the same and made sure that their blades never separated for one second. That was when they retracted their blades and went to strike the left. Blocked. To the right. Blocked. They repeated this again and again and again, getting faster and faster each time. Yet, to their very own surprise, they were able to meet each and every strike. This caused their attackers to put more and more power behind each and every blow. Yet as they did this, this caused their attackers to become slow. This was one thing that they took full advantage of. After all of them had become accustomed to the rhythm o...

The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Ten

Underground  When the doors opened they all saw the steps and walked down them. “So, Loc, how long do you think that this will last?” “As long as it lasts.” Good..keep your distance. Don’t get attached. “Right…and what will you do after this?” “Find a piece of one of the Reality Spheres, I guess.” “Oh. And?” “Get to the next world.” Hopefully, it will be my world. “And want one more?” “No.” Go away. “But please! It’s no fun doing it alone!” “And?” He put his arm around her. “It’s always fun to have someone with you!” She cocked her eyebrow. “And?” Please, go away. “Well-” “No.” His jaw dropped. “C’mon, please?” “No.” “Pretty please with cheese on top?” “No!” She looked ahead to see a chamber. Oh good! A distraction. “There’s a chamber here.” “Oh.” They all walked in and looked around to see that none were here. Probably resting here is safe. “Right. Break time!” She called. “Alright.” “Thank you.” “Oh good.” “No.” “We all need breaks. We’re not like you!” “But we were like y...

The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Nine

The Army Within  The moment that they set foot out they were all hit. Soon the ones at the front were back in the walls. They all got up as the ones from behind blocked their blades. They all looked at them as they charged in just like a swarm in a hole. They all pulled out their weapons as the armies pushed back. Loc looked at the ones at the front. “Centre!” She called. She charged at the drakes in the centre and stabbed the chest of the front one. This caused the rest to join in her example and they moved like an arrow with a serrated head. Then they stabbed the hearts of the closest ones to them. The armies at the other side looked at this and nodded. They whacked their blades to the side and drove to the throats as fast as they could. “Eagles! Go on!” They nodded as they shot on and then they drew their arrows and shot the drakes before collecting their spiers. They thrust the heads down into the heads of the drakes. They all looked up as they saw the second row. They al...

The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Eight

The Guards In The Walls The moment that they walked in, a drake dived at them. Loc drove her sword into the nearest one only to be bit in the left. She looked to see the drake then flicked her blade into him only for a spear to flick the tip away from the throat. She spun and flicked her leg out and hit the head and as she continued to spin she stabbed the head. That was when she saw one charge at her only for an eagle to strike and pull the head off before he could even reach her. She noticed that there was a group of drakes charging at a group of Paradtopians. “Look behind you!” She called. They looked back to see their blades coming at them. They all ducked, drew their blades and flicked their blades up and under their chins. Then another group charged at them. They looked in the direction of the drakes only to dive at them and push their blades on and cut their ankles in half! Then they stabbed down. They then charged on and struck the left and drove their blades up to the dr...

The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Seven

The Unit At The Gate When they arrived, the first thing that Loc did was walk right up to the doors. The drake looked at her. “What are you doing here?” “To kill the dragon, Dracula.” “Treason!” He pulled out a spear.  “I will kill you!” She ran back as he chased her. Worked like a charm. Hope the others are able to do the same . She thought as she arrived at the spot. ✴️ The group at the east walked up to the guards at the east gate. “What are you doing here?” “I-I am here to kill the king-” “‘Prince’.” “Dracula.” “Treason!” He pulled out a spear. “I will kill you!” They all charged at them and they ran as fast as they could to the spot. ✴️ The north group arrived at the north gate. “What business do you have here, bird?” “To kill the prince Dracula.” “That is treason! Come here traitors and I shall execute you!” “Make us!” So they flew away and the drakes followed the eagles. Soon they flew to the spot. ✴️ The west group arrived at the west gate. “And what are you doing her...

The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Six

The Journey To The Kingdom  The first thing that the eagle man did was dive at the strange wyverns. They all pulled out their weapons and stabbed and some stabbed them, others beheaded them and others pecked or thrust their talons at their faces. Soon they all fell like rain, bringing an end to the battle. Then the eagles collected and attended to all the injured before landing in front of Loc. “Elijah?” He nodded. “How have you been?” “Not bad, thank you, Lady Loc.” At this she felt her cringing. “Just Loc, thank you.” “Right.” “Hold on, do you know these eagle men?” “Yes.” They all looked at her with both curiosity and caution. “Urm, what are you?” They all looked back at Elijah and he looked at them, with slight shame in his eyes. “We were an army made from the pools for the feathered dragon, Ventasmort, however we were able to break her control.” “Yes. They helped me take her down!” “We only helped with the armies.” He confessed, putting the tips of his wing behind his he...

The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Five

The Uphill Battle  It had barely been an hour since the last army division attacked when the last division attacked. Yet the first thing they did was find Loc. She opened her eyes as she looked at the army glaring down at her. The first thing they did was breathe fire on her. She raised her hands and the fire stopped. Yet she still had to do all to charge on nevertheless. She looked up as she saw a large group of men and old women fall like rain. The strange wyverns appeared above them and plucked them all from the ground and swallowed them before any of them could cry out. Yet there were some that stabbed one but soon after they too were eaten. Yet as she looked on she saw more than the previous two divisions! This is going to be a slaughter house ! She suddenly was gripped by desperation and horror. Yet she forced herself on and pushed the fire back as fast as she could. She was able to push back the first row but the ones behind were not deterred. Then she saw that there w...

The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Four

The Second Strike They had barely laid down the bodies when they came. The fire was the first to hit. Soon all the dead were on fire. She looked up in shock and dread. She jumped up and pushed herself onto the first one. Yet, before she had the chance to do anything, he blasted her with fire. She was pushed back and it took all to push her hand on and drove the fire back I to the throat where it came from. Yet it did nothing, so she pushed it on and on until it coughed and it went down the throat. This must have collided with something inside it and caused it to explode! However, before she could congratulate herself, she was hit by another blast of fire. This caused her to spin rapidly back as pain flooded her the moment she crashed into the debris. Yet even more pain flared up as she got up. She looked up to see the army looking down at her. She saw the fire and dived out of the way. She saw another and dived back the other way. Only to be hit by a third. She soon hit the ground...

The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Three

Defeat  The moment Loc woke she saw the rubble. She drew her blade as she looked around her to see all the dead. Her eyes widened and she felt tears in her eyes. This is all my fault. This is all my fault. Why? Why did I start this? Why did I ever let myself lead them to their deaths? Why couldn’t I stop this? Then she heard the cry, snapping her out of it. She looked to the left. She could see the people, the ones still fighting, were pulling the cannons out and lit them and they hit one after the other but most of them missed. They’re all going to die. They need to stop and hide. That was when she felt a slap. She looked to the right. “What are you doing, dotty eyes?” She looked to see one of them that followed her from Paradtopia, completely stunned. “Wh-what?” “What are you doing just gawking like that? Get your head back into the fight!” He snapped. She nodded as she pushed the fire out of the soles of her feet and zoomed in the air. She dived at the closest one and grip...

The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Two

Attack Falls It was five in the morning when King Aki woke her up. She stirred slightly before he made sure to speed her mind up. Once she slipped out of bed he made sure to walk into the rest of the rooms and woke up all the rest of the men. Then they all walked to the gates. They could see the dots in the distance. She looked at the end and saw one fly near a tree in the distance and this showed her that it looked like a small dragon. Yet as it came closer and closer they all looked like wyverns that were slightly smaller than her world and had strange bat-like heads.  Which, for a moment, gave her cause for relief. That was when she saw the look on everyone else’s face which wiped it all away. Horror was haunting their eyes like a spectra. Their faces were as pale as death as they ground their teeth together in fear. So she turned back, keeping her own bias in check. After all, the strange wyverns in their world may not be like the ones in her’s, they might have been smart...

The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part One

The City The moment they all stepped off the pool, they heard the sound of life. Loc looked up and around. She saw the stone buildings all around them. They all had sharp edges with the roofs that looked like a castle’s without machicolations. In fact they all looked like miniature castles and all connected to each other in arches over the street. The roads were cobbled and were well polished. The pavements looked like they were made of tiny emeralds, diamonds and sapphires and cleaned within an inch of their lives. Yet they all could see that there was a group of men cleaning dung off it and putting that dung in a cart which, after cleaning, they took away. They all left the pool as they looked around. They saw a line of shops. She then caught a glimpse of a market beyond that. She walked to it and when she sniffed up, she could smell food and strong spices. Yet she saw people walking to and fro like mindless zombies, without any life or light in their jaded eyes. “So, what now?”...

Scar The Journey Home Final Part

The Three Gifts They soon said their goodbyes at the front door and Scar was left alone in number thirteen Johan Close. The first thing she did was give herself a good wash and put on new clothes. She allowed herself to feel the freshness and cleanness of the red top and black combat trousers. She enjoyed the heat of the house and the birds chirping outside even though it was darkening. Then she ate a full English breakfast. Which she ate slowly and took in the taste. She also felt just how good it was to eat a proper good meal and know where it comes from to a point that she could not help but cry. She took in the beans the texture of the mushrooms and egg. She smiled as she tasted the meat of the sausage and bacon. Yet as she did, she just could not help but notice just how empty the house was now. Now that Bill and Bliss were in another world being a king and queen. Now that her adopted mother is dead. Now that Charlotte Kira is dead too. She noticed just how big the hose was t...

Scar The Journey Home Part Seven

Arrival At The Door They walked and walked, yet as they did, they noticed a small figure following them. Just thinking that it was a coincidence and it was someone walking in their direction, they ignored this and walked on and on. However, Scar could sense that figure meant danger. She just could not place as to why as she knew it was not a rational feeling. Yet she just could not ignore it and she had to address it. However, she just did not know how. So she did not do anything more than look over her shoulder to check upon it. Yet she saw it coming closer and closer. She saw it getting bigger and bigger. She turned back for a moment as they walked on and on. Then, the moment they turned a corner and walked on and on a bit and still saw the figure, she knew the figure was after them. Then she saw the silver and gold crown on his head. “Run!” She finally shouted. They looked back to see the king running towards them. Beatrice and Britannia broke out into a run as Morana and Detec...

Scar The Journey Home Part Six

The Rescue Of The Sisters Scar looked at the twins feeling slightly afraid. She knew that Morana would not like it if she brought them into danger, but she also knew that they would not tolerate her leaving them out so she knew that whatever she thought of, she would have to make sure to keep them out of the danger as she could. What do I do? What should I do? What can I have them do? I don’t know! She closed her eyes for a moment. She will kill me if they are hurt. So what do I get them to do? “What can you do?” “I can pick a lock!” Britannia suggested. At this both of them dropped their jaws. “When?” “Assassin’s Creed! It helped me deal with what I saw a couple of months ago.” “Oh.” “Right…” “You?” “Urm…I don’t know! I was able to nick a few things from Mr Scott’s pocket once.” “I knew it was you! But no! I got the-” “Brit!” “Right.” “So where do you think that he is keeping mum and dad?” Scar narrowed her eyes. “In his castle dungeons.” “How do we get in?” “The sewers?” “Ew no...

Scar The Journey Home Part Five

The Breath Of The Dragon  Detective Smith dived in and pulled her out. Beatrice and Britannia looked at her body with shock, with Britannia holding her twin’s hand so tightly that her hand was growing cold before he got out. “Scar!” They cried as they dived at her once her body was laid down. “She-she’s not breathing! Why isn’t she breathing?” They started to weep as they looked at their father in desperation.  Yet they placed their hands on the cooling body and shook it. “S-Scar!” “No! Wake up! Please wake up!” Yet upon her not moving or breathing they burst into tears. “C-can’t you use CPR o-or something?” He opened his mouth to speak when a man with light purple hair and eyes with a slit walked up to them. “Let me help.” He spoke with a voice that was rich with age and wisdom despite his youthful appearance. “What?” “Why?” Morana asked. “Because this is why I am here. To save someone important. Although I was not who but I will know her when I see her.” “Who?” He plac...

Scar The Journey Home Part Four

The Kingdom Of   The Future Past The moment that they arrived at the next kingdom, they all got strange looks, especially Scar. Yet as they walked on she spotted a book. On it was a painting of someone that looked exactly like her just with white eyes and another that had crimson. “Mrs Smith?” Morana narrows her eyes. “Yeah?” “Did you even come here as a child?” “No. Why?” “Then who’s that then?” She asked, pointing to the books. “Bounty Hunters Bash and Cari.” Spoke a man in a black trench coat. “You know, you look like the one named Scar, just younger.” At this she frowned as she felt a ripple run throughout her. “‘S-scar’?” “Yeah. She traveled with them for a while but, for Cari, she disappeared for a bit. Then turned up, out of the blue with a group of others.” “Oh.” She spoke with a deep frown. Hold on. Is-is that me? No. It can’t be! It must be some other Scar that just so happens to look like me. “Is that why I have people after me?” She asked out loud. “It is.” H...

Scar The Journey Home Part Three

The News It was late in the evening when they reached the border, a place that would have taken them two days if they did not have Snow and Raven. Yet they came to a small and quaint town and came to the most unassuming inn. “One night, two rooms one of which is a family room along with dinner and breakfast.” “Sorri, o’ly famili room available, m’ ‘fraid!” The innkeeper said before pressing a dirty handkerchief to his nose and sneezed. “That’s alright. We will take it.” “Oh, and you can come in one of our beds!” “It’ll be like a sleepover!” “Oh this is gonna be fun!” “Yeah, we’ll have a pillow fight and-” “Easy now. We’ve had a long day. Food first and then sleep.” “And no pillow fights! We’re not here on holiday. We’re just staying for the night.” “Spoil sport!” “No fair!” At this Morana groaned. “Maybe one fight when we’re back home. But not tonight.” “Promise?” “Fi e!” At this Scar looked away as her eyes lit up at the prospect of having a girly night. Yet suddenly she felt fea...

Scar The Journey Home Part Two

The Quest They were brought before a king dressed in pale gold and pale yellow, almost white. The hall was long and tall which was decorated with the same colours that the king was wearing. “Who are you?” Asked Morana. “What do you want with us?” Snapped Detective Smith. “I am King Angus. I hear that your are not from my kingdom. Is this true?” “It is. And?” Replied Scar. “I would teach your daughter to speak when spoken to.”  “She’s not my daughter.” At this King Angus raised his eyebrow as Detective Smith looked at Scar and Morana with narrowed eyes. “So what is this all about?” “I need a group of people that are not of this kingdom.” “No. We’re just passing through.” He nodded. “Then do what I say and I will pay you with two horses and a carriage. “But how will they help in our world?” Britannia asked. “So, the legend of Johan Close is true…How interesting.” “What?” He cleared his throat. “You are to go to the cave of the old kings. There you are to get an olive opal. It w...

Scar The Journey Home Part One

Location Of The Door They all attended to the wounds and set all of the other prisoners of the Scarborough Witches free. The next thing that they did was release all the animals that they had for who knows what. After they raided the storerooms for food and warmer clothes. Yet Scar noticed that it was getting slightly warmer. Spring was on its way. Then they left. “So, how are we going to get home?” “We have to find a room with a door on it.” She spoke as she felt the key around her neck. When did I put that on ? She wondered as they walked away. Beatrice and Britannia wrapped their arms around Scar. “Are you alright?” “You look thin.” “She always looks thin!” She looked down, suddenly feeling Morana’s glare. “I think we need to find the room before we think about my weight. Sooner we get home sooner we can get a good wash.” “True.” “Hold on, you didn’t answer us!” “I’m alright. I just want to get out of here.” She said, forcing a smile on her face. “Yeah.” “Me too.” “So, is there...

The Nine Dragons The Life Dragon Final Part

A True Paradise  When Loc woke, she looked all around to see that all of the survivors were breaking the trees apart. She slowly rolled onto her stomach and pushed herself off the ground. Only for her to fall back down. She noticed that she was weak and needed a proper rest but she forced herself to push on and drove her body back up again. She knelt forward this time and forced herself on her feet. She walked to them, her body swaying like a snake or fish. Yet she kept her eyes on the people. Then she looked at the trees. “Are you alright?” “Should you be on your feet right now?” “Doesn’t matter.” She said, still looking at the trunks. If only I had Rock and Stone. I would be able to smash through this very easily… She thought to herself. Yet she looked at herself and them and suddenly wasn’t so sure. “Look around to find something that may help.” She suggested. They all looked at her with a frown. Then they looked at each other and shrugged. “Can’t hurt to help.” “Why would...
