The Nine Dragons The Water Dragon Part Two

 The Dragon Cult

She woke up earlier than the man thought as she was being dragged by a group of men. She could feel at least four holding, tightly, onto her arms. Then as her eyes slid from left to right, she felt her legs being raised by four more. Then she felt two more wrapping their arms around her waist and chest. She was about to raise her head but a hand fixed it back down again.

“What is this?”

“Silence p, heretic!” Hissed the man.

“Why?”

Next moment her jaw was hit. Suddenly she felt a stinging pain flare up as blood fell. She barely let out a grunt, knowing that she had felt worse pain. She tried to look up but all she could see was the lower half of their robes. She looked to the left and to the right again and spotted that they were all dressed in the exact same robes.

“Who are-”

Strike. Blood in her mouth. She spat out the tip of her tongue. She tried to raise her head again but the hand on her head was far too strong. So all she could do was try to pull at the ones that held her. This earned her another strike. She had to look down and kicked out. This earned her another strike. But this time it was on her back and kneecaps.

She winced. So she waited until her kneecaps were slammed against the marble floors making her kneecaps crack. Then her head was pulled back by the hair and had a firm grip. She looked upon a man with a shaved head and a long goatee that ended in twin plats. Yet even his moustache was platted. His eyes were ink blue and narrow and brimming with arrogance and pride with an intolerance to listen to anything. He wore a royal blue scale scarf with a long dragon like staf.

“Who are you?”

“A heretic.”

“Let her speak.”

“Loc.”

“Why are you a heretic?”

“You tell me!”

“She killed two dragons and their armies.”

He looked at her with surprise and then this turned to anger.

“That's blasphemy!”

“Well I did!”

Again, show her some discipline.”

She felt the whip hit her again and again, but she tried to get out but she could not. She could feel the grip upon her was too strong. Yet she did not cry out once. She felt each sting but she knew that she had felt worse. Yet when she stopped feeling the pain and the itching started.

She looked up, painting with defiance in her eyes.

“What is going on?”

“You can not have killed a dragon, let alone two!”

“And why is that?”

“Because they’re all God's.”

“And the people that they kill for their armies?”

“Necessary sacrifices.”

“They're not! They are not God, I killed their armies and I killed two, one was the serpent and the other was of the Skylands. None there thought that I could but I did. And none of them were ever necessary sacrifices! Also I will, by the time I leave this place, kill the dragon here too and his armies too! So don't -”

The leader struck her in the head with the head of the dragon staff.

“Clearly she is insane. Take her away and do not let her out of her cell until this fool has regained some sense of sanity.”

She looked back.

“What's your name coward?”

“Dragon Priest Ryu Dragon.”

She nodded before she was taken to a cell with a pool in. She looked down to see that there was a seabed underneath her. Then the door opened and Ryu Dra walked in. He then hit her with a book made of a blue metal.

“Read. I will not leave here until you have and neither will you. Not until you have even one meal until you finish the last page.”

She nodded as she opened the book.

In year one of Ryu Dragon Ist discovered

the nine dragons that appeared were the

true gods of the world. This took place after

a long and lengthy battle with Aquamort Ice

this was his only defeat. As penalty he is

to provide all his people to Aquamort Ice.

She looked up.

“Is this the basics of your cult?”

“Yes. Ryu Dra the first was the greatest warrior that there has ever been.”

Highly doubtful.

She nodded.

“Did Aquamort Ice tell him that he saw a god?”

“Yes. You will read about that in chapter two.”

She nodded as she looked at the pool.

“And does that lead to the ocean?”

“Yes.”

She smiled as she threw the book at him in the head hitting home with the corner of the book. She grabbed her sword from his hands and dived into the water.

A guard raced in.

“My lord, are you alright?”

“Yes. She hit me with the book of Ryu Dra!”

“Should I go after her?”

“No. The water drakes will eat her soon.”
