The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Seventeen

 The Final Unit


They all ran up the stairs and the moment that they reached the archway the creatures rushed out and the fire went to rain down. Lock raised her hands and stopped the fire dead in its tracks. This caused them to rush down upon them. Yet she pushed the fire back at them. Then she took a glance at the eagles who rushed to the air. She then joined them in the air. Together they burst through the flames. Then their blades met. Yet the ones in the air pushed them down as the army on the stairs met the blades of the men. All pushed on the blades.

That was when the creatures let out a blast of fire on them. This caused them to break their formation as they dodged. Yet they soon felt blades in their chest. Yet as they charged on a foot pushed them back. They all had to curl up as they rolled down the stairs, protecting the vital spots. 

Then, when they stopped, they saw the creatures above them. The blade came down above them then they rolled out of the way and into the legs of the ones above them. Then they got up and slit the heads off. They then looked back up the stairs to see that there were more coming down the stairs. Quickly they blocked one and kicked another. Then they drove their blades on and pierced the throats ahead. Then slid the blade to the right and dashed it into the hearts of the ones by their side. Then they saw one about to reach their hearts. Quickly they arched the blade up only to see the dagger coming to their side.

Quickly, some of them kicked the side of the creatures before piercing the hearts. Then they pushed on. They saw several blades coming at them. They all dodged each and every one of them. Which shocked some of them. Yet none of them had the time to focus upon that. Not if they wanted to survive. So they continued to dodge the blades and soon they ducked and slashed the stomachs before moving on.

They saw the next group about to pounce. They let out fireball after fireball at them. They rolled onto the next step diagonally again and again and again until slashing across when they reached them.

They all saw that they had just returned to the arch. They dived to the walls as they took a glance to the air. Only to see the bodies fall and land in front of them. They waited for Loc to walk on to see that there were none left.

She let out a sigh as she looked back for a moment. This gave them all a look which caused them to keep their guard up.

So she charged on. She blocked the first one and pushed on. She ducked as the men behind her pushed their blades on and hit the heads. Then they pushed on as they made way for the ones behind them who rushed in and drove their blades I to the first thing they could then pushed on and into as many as they could. Then before the army could retaliate more of the men came in and drove their blades into them and on. 

That was when they let out a barrage of fire at them. Some were almost hit only for it to stop in mid air and the fire was driven back and exploded and the fire rained down upon the group. Then, as they all dived out of the way, they pushed blades into the men. Then they noticed that they were distracted. They pushed on and let the eagles in who looked to the men. They all drove their arrows to the farthest side and fired at one after the other.

“Get more than one!” Loc called, remembering her time in Team Sorrow.

They nodded and pulled the string back and let the tension build and let the arrow loose. Soon the arrows pushed right through the head of one and right into the one behind. They did this again and again and again until the ones in the middle took to the air. Yet the moment that they rose, the eagles fired at them. Yet the eagles kept their eyes on the far distance. They fired at the corners again and again and again. Yet they made sure that they did not take the rest of the battle out of the corners of their eyes. 

Then, when the far end was taken care of, they all looked down to see the creatures throwing fireball after fireball at them. Loc stopped one after the other as one drove a blade into her. She drove her blade down as one hit. She looked up to see more people were dead. Yet she soon saw another coming at the group and she stopped that one. She saw another and stopped that one and the one after that and the one after that. Then she felt a blade in her side and drove the blade down into the head of that one before returning to stop the fireballs. 

Yet she knew that she could never save everyone, it still weighed upon her but she had no time to deal with that. She saw another hit but she had to push on and just about stopped the next one. Yet she could not stop all of them.

Yet she saw more and more men dive on and sliced off one neck after the other. All of them made sure that they did not stop once. One blocked the blade of the creatures and the ones behind rushed in and pierced in the opening. They all did this again and again and again and again. Yet all saw that Loc had many of the creatures flocking towards her. Then they all saw the fireballs coming at them. At this one let out a huff.

“Fight back! Stop trying to save us and focus upon yourself!” He shouted.

At this she laughed at the absurdity and nodded and put Peble away and pulled out Rock and Stone. She then whacked left to right in a rapid circular motion then moved in and on and on. She did this again and again and again. Yet she had to push past her itching the entire time.

That was when she saw the arrows wipe out the ones at the edges of the entire group. Soon the rest fall and all of them collapsed, panting.

“Breather! Need breather!” One gasped.

“Alright. We all probably need it.”

“Loc, in the battles ahead,stop focusing on us. Do I need to remind you that we all consider ourselves dead. Focus upon the fight. You are not responsible for our lives, we are!” Elijah snapped.

She looked aside and nodded.

The Nine Dragons The Dragon Of The Ground Part Fourteen

 The Rock Dragon  Loc and the other two arrived at where the rock dragon lay. It looked at them with glowing amber eyes and had the shape of a turtle that was large. It had a head the shape of a wolf and had a long tail with four rows of spikes shaping an X at the tip. It had a pair of wings tucked away, yet the body had become too large to fly. It may have been able to fly once upon a time, but not now. After years of being glutinous, it had grown too heavy for it’s body. Upon seeing them it charged at them, making it's body sway from side to side rapidly. They all moved out of the way. They ran to opposite corners.  Sorrowful Rest Loc spent most of her time between sleep and rest in the underground library, as she tried to stop herself from crying. Looking at the whole place, Loc could not help but feel nostalgic for Billy’s Bookshop.  The Army Against The Last  Loc had a light nap before waking up to see the fakegels, a name she had come up with after the fight and handed the second borns over to the rest of the first borns. She could see the men also taking a light nap, just like she was. Yet she knew that she did not have time to wake them. So she pulled out her sword as she could not be bothered to get Rock and Stone.
