The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Fifteen

 The First Unit


Loc was at the front as she was hit by a barrage of blades. Yet as she was stabbed she pulled out her hammers and hit the heads of the ones beside her. 

She noticed that the three creatures looked like a cross between a small wyvern and a drake.

Yet she had no time to dwell upon that as she saw the large jaws above her. She pushed her head to the right knowing that she could not avoid it. That was when she saw a blade coming from behind pierce through the skull and it fell. That was when she saw one on the right about to do the exact same, only for another blade to slice the head clean off before it even had the chance to go near her head. 

She took a step forward whacking her hammers out and into the ribs of the ones in front. Then she pushed through the door frame. Yet she was driven back by one which rammed into her. Yet the head was sliced off as the men dived to the left and right and sliced at the ones that were in the way. She ran on and on and on and thrust her hammers up and into the heads of the ones in the centre. Then she pushed them across her. Then she passed through the doorway.

Yet she knew that this would not be good enough. So she drove her hammers to the one in the centre and then took a step on. She took a glance behind her to see the army of men and eagles had been able to get in too. Yet it was too low for the eagles to fly. So she turned to the ones behind her as they met the blades of the creatures that were at both sides as they struck down one after the other, giving the rest the opening to flood the corridor. Yet one of them gave her a glance

So she turned back and hit the head of the ones in front of her before she took a step on. Then she felt blades in her sides. Yet she had to push past the pain as she drove her hammers across, hitting the heads then they fell out as they fell. Then she was able to take a step on. She saw the blades in front of her. She quickly ducked and thrust her hammers up and then out. She then saw the next one try to run into her. She dodged and used her momentum to drive her hammers into his head and the creature hit the ground twitching as he died. 

She then moved on and they were able to reach the wall on the other end of the door. She looked back as the men and eagles had already demolished the centre.

Yet, as this happened, they all split one to the right and one to the left. She saw the right division of the group block the blades and, as the head went to come down, the men behind stabbed the head before they took a step on. Then they blocked the next set as the men that blocked earlier stabbed the heads. Yet as they did this again and again and again like a wheel, she noticed that they were all getting too predictable. 

So when the blade came down upon the first man, she knew that she should not have been surprised, but she was. Yet the ones slightly further behind were able to spin and drive their blades on and out like a set of double doors. Then the ones behind were circled through and drove their blades into as many as they could. Before kicking them all off and blocking the second row just in time. Yet there were those that were just too late. Yet they were able to barge into as many as they could just as they made it through the formation. Then moved onto blocking and were soon met by a blade. They were able to stab the creatures in the gut before they fell.

“Look out!” She called as she spotted some coming from behind. Which caused them to look behind just in time. So they kicked the stomachs of the creatures. Then took a step on as quickly as they could, slashing from left to right again and again and again until they felt a blade in their guts. Then as they fell the creatures looked up and were soon looking at the ground before dying.

Then she looked to the left. They too were blocking as some were already dead. Yet the ones behind blocked and then slashed at one before stabbing the heart of another. They all did this again and again and again. Soon the group’s gap appeared. Soon she saw the dead bodies of the men and eagles that died to get them the information that they needed.

Yet she then noticed shadows above and soon spotted that some were flying above their heads. 

“Eagles up!” She called.

The eagles looked at her then up and nodded. They all jumped up and she spotted five fireballs coming at her from the creature’s mouths. She then pulled them all down and onto the creatures below. This made them all look at her, leaving them open for the eagles to fly below and strike their throats. Yet some of them flew up and blasted fire and both the eagles and the men. It took Loc all that she had to stop the fires at both ends and push them back into the creatures they came from and more of them as they kept their guard up.

Yet Loc saw more and more eagles fall. Yet some of them were able to tear out the throats of one after the other before diving on and doing it again and again and again. Soon the floor was cleared.

The Nine Dragons The Dragon Of The Ground Part Fourteen

 The Rock Dragon  Loc and the other two arrived at where the rock dragon lay. It looked at them with glowing amber eyes and had the shape of a turtle that was large. It had a head the shape of a wolf and had a long tail with four rows of spikes shaping an X at the tip. It had a pair of wings tucked away, yet the body had become too large to fly. It may have been able to fly once upon a time, but not now. After years of being glutinous, it had grown too heavy for it’s body. Upon seeing them it charged at them, making it's body sway from side to side rapidly. They all moved out of the way. They ran to opposite corners.  Sorrowful Rest Loc spent most of her time between sleep and rest in the underground library, as she tried to stop herself from crying. Looking at the whole place, Loc could not help but feel nostalgic for Billy’s Bookshop. She almost could not help but feel the expectation of the faen walking up to her asking her for what book she would like to buy and read this time. Yet this brought more tears as she had to remind herself that she was not in her world as she picked out the first book. She sat on a stone bench outside and looked at the book and opened it.  The Army Against The Last  Loc had a light nap before waking up to see the fakegels, a name she had come up with after the fight and handed the second borns over to the rest of the first borns. She could see the men also taking a light nap, just like she was. Yet she knew that she did not have time to wake them. So she pulled out her sword as she could not be bothered to get Rock and Stone.  Defending The Town  It was nearly an hour after sunrise when Loc saw the army on the far end of the tunnel. She looked back at Gina.  Plan They arrived at the outskirts of Centrepoint. It seemed like a rocky wasteland. Where there were lava rivers and orange rocks as far as they could see. The clouds were bright orange and thick.
