The Nine Dragons Dracula, The Dragon Prince Part Sixteen

 The Power Of The Armies


They all ran up the stairs with Loc at the front. They all arrived at the archway to the second floor. Only to see a wall of fire to greet them. Loc used her fire to stop the fire from burning anyone and pushed on. She then pushed the fire to the nearest one. However, the moment that she entered the corridor she saw something coming towards her. She raised her arms up and stopped the fire coming to them all.

This gave the rest the opportunity to go in and yet the army saw them and dived at them. They then all lit a blast of fire. This was slashed out of the way. Then the men behind dived at the nearest one. Yet they outstretched their hands and pulled themselves up. That dragged the creatures down. Yet they pushed them on and onto the back. The first thing that they did was grab the horns and pull the heads up. As they struggled against them, let out several balls of fire at an eagle. None of them hit. The next thing they did was hit them which caused them all to fly on. 

That was when all the rest dived at them. Then they saw the fire coming. They all dived off and were caught by the eagles. Then they all saw the inferno above them. Which was followed by the fall of burnt bodies. Yet they flew on and on and above the fire. The first thing that they felt was the pain. They all looked at them with wide eyes as they were all about to get their heads chomped off. They ducked as this did not deter them from the fight. 

They all took a glance back. The other eagles flew on and at them before the next wave of fire be released they all zoomed at them and stabbed them in the mouth and pushed them all down as they pulled their blades out. This caused them to crash as they landed. Then they all flew on and then they saw the next set of fire. 

They lit up the fire before they all could do anything, they had to go down to avoid the fire first, then they were hit. Pain erupted all over them as they had to push past it and dived to the nearest one. Then pushed their hands inside and let the fire do the rest of the work. Only to be dragged out by another group. They thrust their bodies down and pushed down their blades and in their eyes. By which point the fire had eclipsed their bodies. They all went limp and their bodies fell.

Yet, as all this went on, Loc pushed herself in the air then went onto the nearest one. She then hit the head as the rest of the eagles dived at the creatures one after the other. She then dived at another and hammered the nearest one of these creatures then dived onto the next one and hammered the head. She did this again and again and again as the eagles dived down and pecked two. She shot up and dropped onto top of one of the creatures. As they landed the head turned back and she hit the head off then dived on. Some were hit as they reached the next one. 

Then they drove their blades down as the ones that were on fire fell along with their creature. Yet the ones that were alive dived onto the next one. They did the same thing as earlier before diving onto the next one. Lading, stabbing and diving onto the next one. They did this again and again and again before they were hit. Yet they were able to take down one more before they too fell. 

Loc looked at the fire and drove it up and blasted the fire up and at another fire blast and another and another. This gave the men the ability to land on the next creature without fear of the next blast. They too were able to take more and more down. 

Despite this display of success, she kept her eyes on the battle as she saw more about to breathe fire. She, quickly, pushed the fire inside. This did nothing. So she pushed the fire down as soon as the fire started to breathe it out. She did this again and again and again and yet more of the charred bodies fell along with the creatures. Which she knew would not be enough.

So she put away her hammers and pulled out Peble and pushed herself into the air. She shot at one and slit their throats. Then she moved onto the next one and the next one. She did this again and again and again and again. Yet she saw more of the charred bodies fall along with the creatures they were taking out. Yet she knew that she did not have the time to focus upon that as she shot to the next one and one next one. She did all that she could to move onto the next one.

Then all the survivors landed and moved onto the next corridor which had a low ceiling so neither the eagles nor the creatures could fly. So they all dived on and slit one throat after the other and saw fast as they could. None of them dared to stop for one second. Not with that fire breath of theirs!

Then one went to blast the fire at them. Loc pushed it back and a man was able to slit the throat causing the head to become eclipsed in flame. This gave her an idea. So when they went to breathe the fire at them, she pushed the fire up and into the brain. She did this to as many as she could which caused them all to fall. She then raced on and did the same to the next group and the next one down each and every corridor until all the army was gone and they reached the stairs on the other side.

The Nine Dragons The Dragon Of The Ground Part Fourteen

 The Rock Dragon  Loc and the other two arrived at where the rock dragon lay. It looked at them with glowing amber eyes and had the shape of a turtle that was large. It had a head the shape of a wolf and had a long tail with four rows of spikes shaping an X at the tip. It had a pair of wings tucked away, yet the body had become too large to fly. It may have been able to fly once upon a time, but not now. After years of being glutinous, it had grown too heavy for it’s body. Upon seeing them it charged at them, making it's body sway from side to side rapidly. They all moved out of the way. They ran to opposite corners.  Sorrowful Rest Loc spent most of her time between sleep and rest in the underground library, as she tried to stop herself from crying. Looking at the whole place, Loc could not help but feel nostalgic for Billy’s Bookshop.  The Army Against The Last  Loc had a light nap before waking up to see the fakegels, a name she had come up with after the fight and handed the second borns over to the rest of the first borns.
