The Kingdom Of Water And Light

 

Once there was a young girl named Morgan Lux. She lived alone in her small cottage and read her bible whenever she could. She went to her church and held house meetings. She was not only baptized but she was dedicated to her faith and did all to affirm this decision. 

Then one day, she was taken by a couple of guards from the Kingdom Of Blood And Darkness. She was told that she was to live in a castle for the rest of her life for she was their new queen. Morgan was the last of the royal bloodline. As the rest had killed each other in a bid for the throne. This had been a terrible bloodbath. 

She then was told that she could not leave the castle or the peasants would kill her on sight. Yet her intuition told her that this was a lie. So, one night, she snuck out of her room and walked among the peasants. She booked a room in the local tavern that she would stay at for a few weeks. 

Yet when the day came, she saw that the people were so thin and dead in their eyes that they looked like the dead, yet she knew that they were not. So she knew what to do. She preached to the locals and ensured to baptize them all. She ensured that they all got to know their new God and He brought life into them. This was the first light that they had ever had. 

Then the guards saw this and killed all that had pledged allegiance to this new God claiming it to be the will of the Queen. When she saw this her heart was filled with righteous anger and consulted her God and read her bible and knew what she should do. She had to pluck the darkness from this kingdom and lead it into the light. 

So she stormed into her castle, she demanded to see the guards that had brutalized and butchered her people. When they came in they immediately owned up to their actions with pride. They continued to boast in pride that it was the will of her bloodline. 

"And tell me will you be thinking of continuing?" She asked, trying to keep herself calm and self-controlled.

"Yes."

"Then I sentence you to death."

When the time came for the day of execution, she made her first public appearance as Queen of the land. She knew that she had to clear her name and ensure that her people knew that they were acting independently. Yet when her people saw that it was her they remained silent and speechless in their confusion. 

"Now tell them exactly what you have told me." She demanded and they did.

"Now tell me; when did I order for the death of those that I had baptized?" 

"Your bloodline-"

"I am not my bloodline nor am I the follower in your evil ways neither do I belong to any demon or their master for I serve the God that will put yours in his place on the day of reckoning and as for the will of my bloodline I change it to follow in His ways as I know that is my right. As Queen I change this kingdom and all that it stands for. As of today the evil old ways die and this kingdom will be free of its darkness and bloodshed and will be filled with love and light, true light. Let all those serpents in the shadows greet you." She declared which was followed by their death.

Since that day she caused, over the years, a great wind of change. Queen Morgan did all to purge the kingdom of the serpents that caused the corruption and all were baptized. Soon the peasants looked more alive than everything and were thriving. She soon renamed the kingdom the Kingdom Of Water And Light.

There was just something so satisfying in doing hard work and made the food taste better and she slept better too.
