Finding Light In The Darkness
She was always told to keep out of the light. Her mother told her to remain in the darkness, just like her sisters and her clan. They lived in the darkest area in the darkness forest, where not even the faintest of line of light would touch. In fact the light was choked far before it even reached the bottom of the trees.
One day she spotted a man in white, on a majestic golden creature that she had never seen before but had heard tales of. Her mother had told her to stay away from outsiders like him. Yet the beauty of the creature that he was riding on caused her to be drawn to them.
She, before she knew it was in front of the man in white. Her arm was out and she was already touching the creature yet was soon stroking it. She wanted to know if the creature was real and not an illusion brought on by the man in white. Yet the moment that she knew that the creature was not she looked up at the man in white.
"Get away from here, mother thinks that you are bad. However your creature I can tell is clearly pure. So I ask you to leave before she can see you. Or she will kill you!" She told him.
The man in white nodded and reached out his hand.
"Please fair maiden, as I can tell that you are clearly pure of heart and I can tell that your mother may not. I fear that she will kill you too should she find out. I beg of you, please come with me." He said.
She looked at his hand slightly afraid but her gut told her that he was speaking the truth. She reached out and he swept her on the creature. He then took her away from the darkness and into her into the light. It was painful to her eyes but as time went on she got used to it. He then went on to teach her many things that the light had to offer.
When she was twenty the man in white made her his wife and as he was a prince she became his princess. She then returned to her siblings and begged her siblings to return to her kingdom with her and to abandon the darkness. Yet as they did not recognise her and believed their mothers' lies, they rejected her plea. Thus she was forced to return to her home alone.
She then grew and became a mother and became a good leader and supported her husband in every way that she could. She soon became a mother and was living a full and happy life.
Yet as for the rest of her family, they were killed by a rival king.
