Scar Adventures Beyond The Door Arc Part Eight

 Reunion


They arrived in Vadarlors' castle early in the evening. Once inside, they did not stop until they reached the bars. They soon spotted Bill and Bliss huddled together fast asleep. They both smiled as they unlocked the door. They both jumped as they woke, yet their features softened as they laid their eyes on them. They charged up to them and hugged them tightly. Their eyes filled with life as they realized that they were free.

"How?" They asked.

"We killed the dark lords and now we need to get out of here, after all, I think that there's gonna be a riot." She laughed.

They nodded and they were soon running out of the castle and did not stop until they were at the outskirts of the town. There, they found an inn and booked in. They soon got their room and were in their beds.

"So you cut your hair?"

"Yeah."

"Wow! It looks good on you!" Bill said.

"I don't think so!" Bliss remarked.

"Anyway. You really took down two dark lords?"

"Yeah, on the same day no doubt!"

"Wow!"

"I know!"

The conversation ended this way as they all went to sleep. They all woke up at an early hour. They were about to start packing when they heard a knock on the door. Suddenly they all became alert and both Scar and Charlotte. She then became cautious as she approached the door. Meanwhile Scar slipped to the side of the door frame. Both Bill and Bliss looked at them confused. Charlotte then gestured to the twins for them to hide. They then hid opposite Scar. Then Charlotte opened the door to see no less than two guards, one was from Daverrins' domain and the other was Vadarlors'.

"Are you Charlotte and Scar?" One of them asked.

"Yes. So what do you want from us?"

The other one let out a sigh.

"Look, we are not here to take any act of revenge here. No, we just want you to have these." The other said taking out a couple of keys. "As thank you for ridding us of those tyrants. We cannot tell you how long they have terrorised us for. So, right now we are all looking for a new ruler, one that is good and righteous instead. It would be good for the people."

"Fortunately, for my kingdom, we have plenty to choose from." Said the one from Daverrins kingdom.

"However it will not be so easy for us, after all, ironically, even though Vadarlor had so many wives,  he produced no hair."

They laughed at this, yet the guards carried a questioning look in their eyes.

"Tell me, would you-"

"No. We don't belong here. So we really need to get home as soon as possible." Charlotte cut in.

"Then leave with these. After all, the ones that set us free deserve a reward." He said as they both gave them two heavy chests. They were made of black wood and one had a red raven on the flat lid and the other had a green crow. It was held together with bright silver edges with an intricate rose pattern moulded around one chest with Vadarlors' crest and the other was an ivy pattern.

They looked at the boxes and then back to them.

"Thank you. Now we need to eat and we will be on our way."

"Thank you too. We also wish for you to have as much happiness as we will enjoy." They said as they left.

"Yeah…" Scar mumbled as she played with the tip of her hat.

Yet Bill and Bliss remained silent. They both looked at each other and then when they got their breakfast they remained silent. They hardly spoke as they made their way to Billron. Scar noticed this,  yet she said nothing of this and even though Charlotte asked them if they're alright, they seemed to be.

"Thinking." They would say.

They knocked on the door and Billron opened the door and they entered, to their surprise Aki and her son were there too. 

"We did it." They declared.

They smiled.

"I knew that you would." Aki said.

"Did you have any doubt?"

They gave them their clothes back.

"Here, thanks for everything. Also have this." She said as she opened one of the boxes. 

To their shock they saw coins of silver, gold, and other precious stones! They all looked shocked and it took Scar and Charlotte all they had to pick up a handful of those coins. Even more to give them all a handful each. Yet as each one went on it became easier and, somehow they felt happy departing with it that they ended up giving four more hand fulls! 

"Thank you!"

"Now, we need to get off. We need to find a way to get home."

"I know a way for you to get you home!" Billron said.

"You do?"

"Yes!"

  The Boa Army Loc was working hard in the field. It was getting to evening time. She had found that she liked working there as a farmer. There was just something so satisfying in doing hard work and made the food taste better and she slept better too. She could see herself doing this for the rest of her life however long that would be, yet she knew that she could not. Regardless of how much she liked the village and the people there. She had noticed that the people there looked almost like the people in her world just without any pupils and they were weaker too. She also noticed that despite this, they were all hard working and nothing was eaten until they had done their work. During this time she had completely recovered her whole energy and strength from all of the battles that she had on that day.  The Purple Monster  “Why?” “Open the book and put all of the other Purple Artefacts into the page that it fits.” Doormaze nodded as she opened the book. On the first page as a hole where she put the Purple Purl in. The page glowed and for a moment. When the glowing died down the purl was in the page, almost like a picture.   Mother’s Knife Scar woke. She saw Morara right in front of her. She dived back as she punched her. She tried to unbuckle, yet she noticed that she soon noticed that it was jammed.   Assassin’s Sacrifice  Charlotte, knowing that none of them had any time or chance to call an ambulance, ran. She knew where the hospital was and that none of them had any time to lose. She ran down the street as fast as she could. Yet it must have been obvious where she was running to as Morana looked at her innanyer and knew in that moment she would kill to stop her from going there.  Her parents had the exact expression on their faces when she had to stop pretending that she was a boy. After all, they always wanted a boy and when she was born a girl they tried to turn her into one.
