Bounty Hunter Bash Isle Heat Lock Part Four
The Ship On
They all walked to the ship. It was made of a bright wood and sails. They stayed on the shop for four weeks. All of which were filled with dry hot days. Which caused Bash and Chashathrophogh and Cerpheres to drink their sun protection potion. Yet both Chashathrophogh and Bash had to take more. Yet upon the last day when the moon rose full and bright in the nourishing cold night. They could see all the stars scattered with four clouds of many colours all around the night sky.
That was when they heard the screams of a man. Screams of pain. Yet as Bash ran on, the screams stopped. Then followed by a howl. She looked at Chashathrophogh, knowing what that meant with a dropping stomach.
Then they heard the screams coming from below. They both ran down the stairs, as they did the running passengers pulled them back but they pushed on and on and on as the rest of the passengers all rushed for safety. Yet they heard more and more screaming, coming from below. That was when they pushed on and on and on. A woman bummed into a man as she fell.
“How dare you!”
Chashathrophogh pulled her up as he moved on. Then more people rushed past them as she just reached the other side. Yet they still had to push on and on and on as they heard more and more screaming. This was followed by the roars of the werewolf. They passed a floor but they knew that they were not near it. So they pushed on and on and on. Both pulled the passengers above them so that they could get there faster.
Yet the moment that they saw the blood beneath them, they knew that they were getting closer and closer.
Then they saw the blood soaked jaws and the silver fur as they saw the last race away.
Bash fired at the head but the werewolf dodged. He let out a howl as it rammed through one of his ears. He looked up with hungry eyes, bright yellow and brimming with a darkness of something undoubtedly evil.
He charged at her with such a frightful look in his eyes that they knew that it was then that they were after.
Bash fired another arrow at the heart this time. Yet she winced as he got close to her but hit the shoulder. She fired more and more arrows at his heart only to hit the shoulders again and again and again. As she did this, Chashathrophogh tried to use his magic to fire a ball of fire at him but only hit the arrows, setting them alight. Even though the fire hit, this did nothing to stop him as he charged closer and closer and closer to her.
She had to dive out of the way as he went to strike her. Yet the moment that he did, tiny daggers dug themselves into his arm. He looked at them and then up and let out a cry as she looked back to see Zaryb. He let out a roar as he looked at her and then him. Then he dived back and then up.
They raced forward and looked up as they saw the hole then they heard the screams. She raced back as she could see more people running up the stairs as the werewolf barged behind them and looked down at them all. He looked at Bash with anger as more tiny daggers were flung at him. He dived back and they all heard the snapping as they all charged on as more screamed and scrambled. They all ran up to hear another snap which was followed by more and more screams. Yet the moment that they reached the floor they heard the werewolf dived to the next floor. Then they came to the deck then they saw the werewolf’s head on the deck and several of the crew were dead.
“Are you responsible for this?” Demanded the Captain.
Bash saw the werewolf revert to his human form revealing that he looked like the werewolf that they had taken down.
“No. But it seems that we were the targets.”
“Then get off.”
“What?”
“Get off my ship!”
“But Mr?”
“You’ll get a boat and row to the next isle!”
She backed down and nodded. So they gathered the group and they were soon rowing on and on as Strena wrote everything that she had seen down.
