Bounty Hunter Bash Sleep Lock Part Two
Dreamworld
The first thing that Bash saw was the black void that she thought was the sky. She sat up slowly and saw the purple grass that looked like it was glowing. She looked around to see Strena was already awake and curled up. She looked at her wrists and spotted that her cuffs were missing. Then Zaryb appeared next to her to see that his cuff was missing too. Then she noticed Cerpheres and Chashathrophogh were looking at her. Her eyes dropped to his wrist to see that his cuff was missing too!
“We’re in a dream, aren’t we?”
“It appears so.”
“What!” Exclaimed Strena, she curled up tighter as she looked down, timid. “Does she-”
Cerpheres and Zaryb looked at each other and chuckled. They both placed a hand on her head and chuckled mischievously. Both had a cheeky look on their faces, which was strange to see on Zaryb’s face. Cerpheres looked strange, his eyes were amber and his hair was not emerald.
“I wouldn’t worry about that, my dear.”
“We both took care of that.”
“How?”
“Same way my dear old father made it impossible to kill anyone who shares his blood. Speaking of which, I found something interesting. Do you want to hear it?” He purred as he sat down, resting his wrist on his knee, leaning in slightly.
“As long as it’s appropriate.” Chashathrophogh said, glancing at Strena.
“Alright! Our dear Dark Lady Grasharlo is a relative of our dear Dark Lord!”
They all looked at him with wide eyes.
“What? But I looked into her parentage. There was nothing!”
“Unless those ‘parents’ were not hers. After all, there was a rumour that her ‘father’ or rather, the one who claimed to be her father, was rendered infertile by a disease he caught as a child on the cusp of purity.” He purred.
Chashathrophogh nodded as he smirked slightly.
“Sobwouldn’t it be interesting if her real father was not the man who her mother claimed to be but none other than Dark Lord Gajellidor Darcrogh?” Sang Chashathrophogh.
Cerpheres licked his lips as he smiled.
“That would make her my little sister!” He sang, almost as if it was the most adorable thing in the world.
“And let me guess, you’re no practitioner of nepotism?”
“No.”
“But if we’re dreaming, how do we wake up?” Strena asked.
“We have to find my dear little sister’s dream avatar and kill it.”
She nodded.
“Well, time to go.”
“By the way, why are your eyes and hair that colour?”
He took part of the air.
“This?”
“Yes.”
“Well, in dreams, we are our organic selves. That’s why you don’t have any scars on your faces.”
“They’re not?”
Bash looked at Zaryb to see that there was not a scar on him. The next thing that she noticed was the man was quite handsome with a strong jawline.
“What?”
“Noth-”
“Well, well well! Looks like we finally meet!” Growled a demonic voice.
That was when Strena and Bash looked up to see, behind Zaryb was a shadow and screamed. Behind him was none other than Wolfox himself! Both girls trembled as fear gripped their hearts.
“Now, silence! We need to find it as soon as possible. The worst thing that could ever happen to me is being trapped in a Dreamworld, the next is being sealed away in a baby girl!”
“So, you’re going to help us?”
“Yes. The sooner we get out of this, the better!”
So they left the field.
