The Nine Dragons The Life Dragon Part Three

 A Good Dragon 


It had barely been an hour since the sun came up when Loc woke. Someone put her up in a small room. It had a silver framed bed with baby blue sheets and a white carpet. The windowsill was made of a beautiful light shade of wood.

She looked outside where the people were dancing in the middle of the road. Shd heard the laughter and the tambourines.

Yet all of this brought a sense of awe as her eyes drank in all of the beauty of it all.

That was when she saw a pearl white dragon with amber eyes. She looked very slender and majestic and moved with grace.

She turned to the children from the other day and she breathed upon them. On the surface, it seemed that strength was restored to them, but she could tell better. Yet she was just too stunned to do anything about it. Yet she saw her breathe on the women too. This had the exact same reaction.


“Bless you in all you,

Will go on to do,

Let success be by your side,

Look to your future with pride!


“Do well in through your day,

Let it all go your own way,

Raise your blessed hand to the sky,

Know that truly you always will try!


“Bless you,

Bless all of you!”



She sang.

What? What on this planet is going on?

Then she let out a roar sore. She felt like all of her body radiated with life. Like she had been given one way too many drinks of coffee. Yet this rush felt almost addictive and she seemed to want more and more. Yet she knew that she should not. She could feel a strange happiness too. She wanted to feel this again. She did not even want this feeling to come to an end. She wanted to feel this forever and ever but she had to steal herself back. She had to remind herself that all of this was nothing more than a deception. 

Then it came to an end. She looked at the horizon for a moment but she could feel a strange lingering strength that did not leave even when she did.

Only for, in that moment, to see it. The army that would come within three hours…
