Sacrifice Escape Part One

Once there was a young princess named Johanna or Jan for short. She had bright burning twin braids that curved upwards barely touching her shoulders. She was always showing off her lucky gap and twin dimples as she was barely seen without a smile. That made things pleasant for all who saw it and they were not lying or being nice whenever they told others that. She had no dark spot in her life.

When she was no older than nine years old, a man greeted her at her ninth birthday party as she skipped along. He had a crooked finger with long black crooked nails that were like talons. His features seemed kind like her grandfathers and his smile was like that of a doting grandfather. His light blue eyes looked kind too.

Her ears were greeted by a warm humming with a rich and beautiful tune that gave her an image of the sun, yet it was like that of a cold sun. She felt drawn to this tune and the old man that was humming it. He moved out of the room and she followed it and he walked out of the castle. He soon walked to a secluded place of the kingdom and sat down. She walked up to him, trapped by her trance. He opened his arms to her and she sat on his knee. Her smile was completely absent as he embraced her and started to rock her. She felt her eyelids drop several times. He then put her into a deeper trance and added to her drowsiness by slowly stroking a loose strand of her hair. He then slowed his humming until her green eyes closed. Yet as she fell into her sleep she suddenly heard a roar of nightmarish and triumphant laughter as she fell into darkness. She felt like she was in the darkness for hours and hours yet she felt no fear, in fact she felt nothing at all. It seemed all of time and space slipped away.

"Jan! Jan!" She heard a voice call. It was high pitched, yet there seemed like this voice that she knew that she had never heard before, she recognised. She woke to see a monkey that had fur as bright orange as her hair. Yet she knew his name somehow, even though she knew that she did not know him.

"Kallillythrop?" She groaned as if she knew him.

Of course you know him. He's been your friend since forever! She heard a voice say. Yet there was something that she knew that she needed to but she could not.

"Come on Jan! Quick, we have to hurry. Natorikit has been captured by the evil witch Mukamria!" Exclaimed Kallillythrop.

Suddenly she remembered the evil old hag of a witch Mukamria and used her evil spell to knock her out and kidnap her fox and friend Natorikit! Seriously, what was wrong with her? She should know these things.

"I know!" She sighed. "Oh no! She must have taken her back to her sweet layer in the cave of Akimotoh!"

Then as soon as they knew it that was where they were off to. Then they were there before they knew it. Jan could not believe her luck!

There, they saw the old witch with her hunchback and her green wrinkly skin that was covered with mold and her long pointed nose that was brimming with warts. She wore her black shawl that was riddled with dirt along with her high pointed hat.

"Soo have you come to save your friend Natorikit have you? Weeell, I will let you know that I want to breww him in my niice warm stew and I think I should add yooou?" She screeched and cackled.

"No!" She shouted, pulling out a golden sword.

When did I get a golden sword?

That wizard gave it to me, remember?

She then threw it at the witch and she dodged out of the way and she used her magic to fire flames and she dodged flame after flame. She threw twig after twig at her, hoping to use her fire against her. She missed and then she threw more and more and one caught fire. She dodged out of the way. Yet she was able to pick up the sword and she took out her staff and they collided and she stepped on her toe and the witch pushed her off. She then kicked him and then she picked up more dirt and then threw it at her. This blinded her and she then ran at her and then plunged her sword into her. She pulled it out of her.

"Yey!" She shouted.

She looked around the cave and found the fox. They soon freed the fox.

"Yey! Jan, you defeated the evil witch Mukamria! You have saved my life again!"

They then went onto having many adventures together until one day Jan remembered her old life as a princess and that old evil sorcerer that lured her away from her party and sent her to sleep and to this place. She realised the horror that this place was a dream and her adventures and that her friends Kallillythrop and Natorikit were only here to keep her here. Yet despite this she still loved them but she had to come to reality, they were nothing but talking lies. She closed her eyes and with all her will and might she willed herself to wake up. Sacrificing her life here and escaped the dream.
