Bounty Hunter Bash Location Lock Part Four
The Dark Lord Attacks
It had been an hour after noon and they were all feeling hot. Yet only Cerpheres had the common sense to take his clothes, save his underwear revealing a pale lean but muscular figure and, suspiciously, without a scar to be seen. Yet they all could feel the sun beating down upon them. They knew that they had to get back to making their raft and fixing all the damage that had been done. However they knew that they had to rest after the night and morning that they had, especially Bash. She needed the sleep the most.
So they just rested for a moment as she slept. Cerpheres smiled lazily as he looked at her.
“You know, she’s quite cute too when she’s sleeping like that!”
Chashathrophogh narrowed his eyes.
“‘Too’? She is taken!”
“Not yet! After all, you need to get, good ol’ Wolfie out of poor dear Zarry first!”
He rolled his eyes.
“And why do you call us cute when we sleep?”
He let out a chuckle with an excited look in his far too gleeful eyes.
“Because you are!”
Chashathrophogh let out a growl.
“You know, if you couldn't heal, I would have killed you by now!”
He licked his lips.
“I’ll make you say ‘please’ next time for that. Or get you to say more!”
He rolled his eyes. He was about to open his mouth to clap back when they heard a twig snap behind them. They looked back to see a man. He was gaunt and as pale as death. He had brown hair yet dark sunken in grey eyes. His head looked like a skull with skin and eyes. He wore faded black robes with pale red lining.
“So, which of you is the one known as ‘Bash’?” He spoke slowly with an oily, slightly high pitched voice.
At this Chashathrophogh moved in front of the sleeping girl. He looked at the girl as his eyes widened.
“Ahhhh! Is that her?”
“No.”
“But if she was, what would you want with her?”
“Cerpheres!”
“What! I’m only asking!”
“I have been hired by a fellow dark lord to kill her!”
“And you accepted?”
“The contract is air tight. Even if he tries to kill me, he will not get out of it. I will be paid handsomely!” He spoke as he looked at the raft and around the fire.
“I see that you have taken care of some of my beautiful creatures.”
“These things are yours?”
“Yes. Now I have no business with the Bastard Killer nor the Prince Captain. So move aside.”
“What if we don’t?” They both asked. One was more threatening and the other was whimsical.
“Then I will have to make you move.”
Cerpheres licked his lips slowly.
“I’d like to see you try!”
Both took their battle positions.
“By the way, who are you?”
“Jorrarah.”
“Dark Lord Of Animals?”
“Yes.”
He let out a chuckle. He pulled out his stars as he flicked them to him. He hit a snake, slugs and toads that came up from the sand. Then he looked at Chashathrophogh and he smiled.
He rolled his eyes as Cerpheres hit more and more and more, all hidden in the grass. Chashathrophogh charged at him. He kept it up as he pulled out a bow and arrow and fired at the dark lord. Yet snakes fell and were hit. They fall. That was when he spotted the spiders falling. He dived back as Cerpheres sliced them in half. He fired at him again only to hit several cats and dogs. All fell and turned back to sand as he reached him.
He threw a punch at him, only to see a bat which was hit. Yet he dragged the bay and thrust it into the left cheek. Then he went for the right, only for a crow to shield the fist. Yet he used magic to crush the bodies into his cheek.
Soon the man hit the ground. Only to feel a python around him and he slammed to the ground. He saw several venous fangs about to pounce onto his face. Yet Cerpheres was able to take out each and every one of them before they came anywhere near his face. He closed his eyes as he felt the python starting to crush his body. Yet he bit down on the head as hard as he could as he saw the dark lord getting up and started walking towards Bash.
Quickly he ripped the head off and wriggled out of the corpse and raced to her and pulled out a dagger. Soon he spotted the tiny daggers racing towards him. Cerpheres soon took them out as he ran on and on. Then he saw the wall of tiny fairies. Cerpheres then threw several of his stars at them.
He then ran on as he let out a moan as he licked his lips. He was definitely hitting the spot.
He then saw a swarm of bugs and he then took them out then he saw a ball of fire and he swiped it to the side. Then he sent a ball of ice at Jorrarah. This momentarily stopped him. He turned back to see a row of arrows coming at him. He dived out of the way as he let out a deep breath. Then he saw a row of fire balls coming at him. He summoned a row of birds to block them.
Then he ran on and on to look beyond that. He could not see Chashathrophogh nor where they came from. Then he looked to his side as he felt a blade in his side and another flick to his throat. Then he fell, choking on his own blood. The last thing he saw was Chashathrophogh looking coldly at him and the last thing he heard was the shaky breath Cerpheres let out.
“Yes. Thank you!” He said.
Then the last thing he felt was his kiss on his cheek.
“That calmed me down.”
At this Chashathrophogh let out a huff.
The moment that all of this is over, I am going to kill him…
