Doormaze Drage A World Of Truth Part Seven
Burn’s Round
That was when Burn walked in. She took a glance at Coalmine and picked her up. She quickly raced to Doormaze before Dartru could do anything. Then Doormaze took her and nodded before running back to Mayer Millrose to heal her.
Meanwhile Burn turned back and ran in for her bash. She breathed in and out. At first, she felt ready, but as she thought about Coalmine and the state she was in she felt dread start to sink in. She forced herself to continue to breathe in and out and keeping as calm as possible.
Will I end up like that? If so how bad will it be?
Clam down Burn.
Will I even make it out?
Calm down Burn, if you can sense that you need to bale, then bale.
But what if I can’t? What if he won’t let me?
She took a deep breath in and released it slowly as her eyes rested upon him.
Well it’s too late now.
She forced her will on a shield on the wall. Then she caused it to fly towards him. He then dropped it. She did this again and again and again and he dropped each and every one of them.
It was in this moment that she noticed the fire around the room.
What happened here?
Oh yeah.
So she looked on and then used her will to pull the weapons on the walls and pointed all the blades and spearheads at him. They zoomed them at him and he stopped each and every one of them in mid air. Then she used the fire in the room to create a tornado of fire around him and closed it around him. Then she sent more weapons at him. Yet he put then fire out completely. Then the weapons dropped.
She also noticed that the weapons were a lot less solid than a moment ago. So she pulled all the melted areas off and flung one drop at him. As he flicked that away she did this again and again and again. Yet she knew that she had to keep herself steady. She wanted to conserve as much power as she could. Yet then came the last blob of molten metal which hit the tip of his fingers.
He let out a cry and she used her power to pull the remainder of the weapons out of the ground and walls and shot them at him. He was only just able to stop each and every one of them just in time. Then she looked at the throne he was on. It seemed to be made of wood. She smirked as she came up with an idea. Then she looked at the embers in the room. She closed her eyes as she willed them all to rise to become a fire. She flicked the fire at him in rapid succession one after the other. He flicked them all away. Then Burn smiled as she looked to the side of him.
He smelt the smoke nearby him and his eyes dropped to the place that she was looking. He saw the whole of the left leg was on fire! Soon the fire spread and he used his magic to force it back until he realized it was already too late to stop the flames. He dived off the throne before it turned to ashes. He looked down in amazement before he let out a laugh.
“Better! Much better!”
He then looked up to see the weapons coming down upon him. He rolled out of the way and rolled up and looked at Burn. Then she saw the firenado coming at him. He put the fire out as he saw the hole coated sword close to his eye. He dived back and kicked the blade up then grabbed the hilt. He saw more coming at him and he blocked each and every weapon. Then he laughed again and again and again before he dived on and they went to slash at her. She ducked and hit him between his legs. Soon the pain flooded his entire senses.
“Yes, that’s it!” He exclaimed before he kneed her in the face.
She dived back and the next moment she felt a hand thrust her body down and pain flooded her body. Then she rolled out of the way to see lightning coming at her. She kept rolling out of the way until it hit her. She let out a scream. Then it ended as she was about to get up only to be hit by another strike. She cried out again before it stopped. She tried to get up again only to be hit again. She had to endure this again and again and again until she was used to the rhythm of the pain. Then she rolled out of the way of the next strike and pushed it back to him.
Soon it was finally his turn to hit the wall and feel the pain. This was met by more laughter as he hit the floor. He looked up ,almost as if he was happy. Not liking this one bit, she flung a strike at him. He hit the ground and she flung bolt after bolt at him as he just laughed and laughed and laughed. Then she stopped as he got up.
“You’re a good one!” He panted as he stood up. “But not good enough!”
Soon she felt something heavy hit the side of her head and she hit the ground to see that it was none other than the shield! Quickly, before it hit her again, she picked one up to block it. She saw it retract and rushed to get her from the other end. She needed the shield to block it. Then it moved to the other and and went to hit her, she blocked it. She did this again and again and again until she felt a blade in her arm. Then she was hit by the shield again and her head hit the ground.
Soon she was seeing double as she looked at the man. She tried to blink it away but she felt the shield in the back of her head and she hit the ground. The double vision worsened as she got up.
She blasted a ball of light at him and he dodged out of the way. She did this again and again and again, missing each and every time. Then she hit the one in front and this hit him. She had to blink away the darkness as she did this again and again and again. Only to feel a blade in her thigh. She cried out as she felt another in her arm and the other thigh. Then she felt a shield in her face, making her nose gush out in blood!
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! She thought as she hit the ground again. This time all went black, leaving the man panting as he sent her back.
