Bounty Hunter Bash Labyrinth Lock Part One

 Journey To The Field

The group was traveling, Bash took a glance at Strena. She was still pale and probably still weak too, yet she was stronger. She could tell that she was scared too. She took glances at Chashathrophogh and Cerpheres, almost as if she was on the verge of panicking. Bash wondered why, for a moment, then she remembered that she was a Dark Lady and how she looked at Chashathrophogh, almost as if he was going to kill her on the spot.

This girl must have been born out of weddlock! Now, if that’s the case, would he kill her?

She could not quite place why, as there was too much evidence on the contrary, she did not think so.

“So, where are we heading?” Bash asked.

“To find Gajellidor. The spell that we cast is telling us that he is currently still heading to the Desert Planes.”

“Then why did we not take a ship back in Roqaur?”

“The geography of the sea and the position of Roqaur would not permit that. After all, the seas would be much too narrow or shallow or rocky to fit a ship in.”

“So, we’re heading to Eastfeild Coast?” Purred Cerpheres.

“No. Too obvious!” He groaned as his eyebrow raised as he grimaced.

“Leilton?”

“Lillisea. last I remember there’s a short cut that will lead us there. Also, once we arrive at the Desert Planes, I might train you how to be a Quester. After all, there would be many a place there to find a great amount of treasure. There are a great deal of tombs and temples there.”

“But they’re all composed to help the dead pay their way into paradise in the afterlife!” Snapped Strena. “And the rest is to pay for a good house there too!”

“True, but all the Emperors of the Desert Planes and Sand Planes obtained their treasure via blood. So why should you care? They do order their slaves to be killed, so that they can continue to be their slaves in their homes too.”

Strena looked at him, completely stunned. Yet she looked down. Bash thought that she caught a glimpse of anger in her eyes. Yet she remained silent as they walked. Bash walked beside her as she was getting worried.

“Tell me, which do you prefer, Arielsa or Strena?”

She looked to the side.

“Why do you go by the name ‘Bash’?”

Bash looked down for a moment.

“Perhaps I like it more. After all, when I ran away after mother tried to force me to marry someone, a man I never met. I knew that I couldn’t go around by the name Princess Drew McDragonfree, someone might just recognize me. So I had to go by another name and Bash was the first thing that came to mind and more natural to me so I went by that.”

Strena nodded.

“Oh? I thought it’s because you like bashing people.”

Bash narrowed her eyes at Cerpheres.

“No. I just like bashing you!”

He chuckled and licked his lips.

“I bet you do!” He purred in his emerald eyed voice.

“No! You made it weird!” She snapped as she cringed.

“Maybe not weird enough!”

“Wolfox!”

Wolfox used Zaryb’s shoulders to shrug.

“Fine! I’ll let your friend out. But I do have to say you’re making me so lonely here.”

“DoI look like I care?”

He chuckled as he looked at Cerpheres.

“Soo coold! I can see why you like them.”

“Oh!”

Then both Bash and Chashathrophogh both went to punch him but he caught them by the wrist. They flicked out their fingertips into his cheek and went to kick him. But he jumped up. They too leapt and drove their shins into his hips. He let go as he landed.

Bash and Chashathrophogh looked at each other in the eyes and smiled.

Bash dove at him and thrust her fist into his stomach. He caught her wrists. Then Chashathrophogh ran and jumped on her and slammed his fist into his head. He let go giving Bash the opportunity to land her fist into his stomach. He flew upwards slightly. He flipped over and flung his legs out and gripped Chashathrophogh’s head between his thighs. He clasped his hands together and drove them down. Then he wat hit from behind. He looked at Bash as he fell. Then he landed upon her. She clasped him into a head lock.

Then Chashathrophogh went to drive his fist into into his stomach but this was stopped by Cerpheres kicking upwards. He then drove his ankles into the side of his ribs, sending him flying to the side.

He flipped up and then back rammed her to let go. He then rolled and pulled her up by the throat. That was when Chashathrophogh rushed at him by the side. He let go and she was able to drive her foot into his head.

He fell to the ground and laughed.

“I think that we ought to stop. Or I might have to get serious! Then I’ll have something to heal.” He sang.

“Honestly why don’t I just kill you?”

“Because I’d like it!”

“You made it weird again.”

“Alright but I do have to ask. Weren’t we not heading towards Darkrose Field?”

“Yeah. Why?”

“Then why is there a labyrinth here?”

“What?”

They looked on ahead to see a labyrinth made of high rosebushes with purple roses all over it.
